I like this product, but I find that I don't use most of the colours. The quality is good, but the purple shadows are not that useful. I would have preferred another shade, maybe green or grey. I would buy the set again but in different colours.

I really like most of these colours - the bright purple is far too sheer though it does work excellently over light eyeliner. I do not notice any fallout and most colours look excellent on my NC15 skin. With proper primer I think these colours apply very well - it is a great pallette for beginners.

this has 10 shades, only half of which are pigmented and has a good color pay off. i got this for the purple shades as i can find the more neutral ones in UD, theBalm and wet 'n' wild. unfortunately, the purple ones are the worse colors of this palette. it looks good in the pan but it looks completely different when you swatch it. even worse when you apply on your lids. they're chalky and not blendable at all. it ends up looking all muddy. at first i thought it was my technique but when i tried an elf eye shadow of a similar color, it looked way better.

the palette comes with a smudgestick which i like for its color and that it truly doesn't smudge. however, mine was broken. i could no longer twist it up and i've heard many people have had this problem with the stila palettes.

the packaging looks a bit cheap but that's how it is for most stila products so that really doesn't bother me.

I love the texture of Stila shadows. I like the buttery feeling of them. I own the In The Light Palette which is designed like this one but in neutral shades and I love that palette becaue all shades are very pigmented. Well, this In The Moment palette consists of mostly poor pigmented shades. Shades are: Top Row: Instinct, Impulse, Glance, Improvise, Catalyst, Bottom Row: Desire, Wonder, Spontaneous, Whim, and Captivate. All shades swatch decent on my finger but once applied to the lid, most appear very sheer and muddy looking. For instance, the dark beautiful plum shimmer shade (Catalyst) looks stunning in the pan but on the lid it shows up as a grey dull muddy faded color. The bright purple shade (Glance) is very very sheer once applied on the lid. In fact, I applied it on top of primer and NYX jumbo pencil in milk and I still needed 4 layers to get any pigment. The 2nd darkest shade (Improvise) again looks nice in the pan but turns out to be a ugly dull grey on the lid. In fact, I would say the whole top row is very sheer and poor quality. I do like some shades a lot in the bottom row such as (Spontaneous), (Desire), and (Whim) which all have nice pigmentation. This palette also comes with a smudge Stick Waterproof liner in Tetra, a plum shimmery shade. The liner formula is nice but the color is sheer. Overall, I was disapointed with this palette.

The colors are very versatile, and are nicely pigmented with little fallout. Many of the shades have a nice shimmery quality. I've only used this pallet with primer, so unsure of its staying power.

The packaging feels kind of cheap - it's cardboard-y and flimsy feeling. Perfect candidate for repotting to a homemade pallet.

My only real gripe is that I got a defective smudge stick in my pallet :(

This is the perfect eyeshadow kit for someone who is just learning how to experiment with color. So much fun and so many choices, this palette will show you what to do with the colors too!
Comes with a smudge stick eyeliner which is a gorgeous hue of purple. Makes your eyes pop!

Highly recommend this product with an eye shadow primer, a flat eyeshadow brush and a crease brush in order to achieve the best benefits of the colors in the kit.
