I gave this product two stars because it has two pros: it makes a very nice cuticle moisturizer and it has a nice scent. However, it does absolutely nothing to strengthen your nails. I used it faithfully for six months with zero results. I will not be purchasing this again and I cannot honestly recommend it.

This review is for Yves Rocher ANTI-BREAKAGE TREATMENT TO STRENGTHEN SOFT AND WEAK NAILS. I feel that this product is excellent based on the fact that it strengthens the nails without making them too hard where they are prone to crack. I found this to be the case with other cream or oil based nail treatments.
The product is dispensed from a tube with a slanted tip. Makes it easy to measure out. It's reduced from $11- US to $6.00 and bought a tube. I will be buying another one in the event that YR decides to discontinue the product. I keep the tube in my night table drawer and apply it just before bed. It penetrates right through nail polish and I felt a difference within one week.
It has a fragrance I cannot identify. It's not bad, just a bit strong and odd smelling. The smell goes away within a few minutes of applying. The product is thick and creamy and requires that only a small dab be used for each nail bed.
This from the website:
Thanks to its cocoa butter, this fortifying formula nourishes nails and their contours. Applied regularly, this balm treatment restores suppleness and flexibility to dry, brittle and weak nails. Nourished and strengthened, as if regenerated, your nails are more resistant to shocks. Your hands appear more beautiful, neat and well-manicured.
I removed one point based on the fact that it is $6.00, however when you consider it retails US $11.00 it is not a bad deal. It is loaded with cocoa butter and other organic botanicals according to the website. Not sure if using it to moisturize cuticles is wise, as it may make them hard as well, so I still need to use a separate product to keep my cuticles moist. This is not an issue for me.
