The color is very nice. I prefer a natural look, but the color is buildable, so I don't have to have HOT hot pink lips. I actually have found that this works well as a cheek stain, too! Apply it very lightly, three dots on each cheek, and use a cheap powder puff (it will be hard to get the stain out so don't use your best one! I used one that came with some pressed powder) to blend it in. I looooove this product because I'm so pale.

I really like this product!!
This is Revlon's dupe of Clinique's chubby sticks. The product twists up at the end so no need to sharpen. Also it has a nice minty scent.
I love the color Sweetheart. It's a bright, hot pink. Very noticeable and easy to apply. It applied very evenly. I liked how it made my lips feel so moisturized. And it really does stain your lips. I have to remove this everytime with a makeup remover (a pro or con depending.)

Gosh I just bought this shade today and I'm in LOVE! I have strawberry blonde hair and hazel/brown eyes, also very fair skin. This is the most perfect shade of hot pink. It feels moisturizing on the lips. Easy to apply. Definitely wakes up pale skin. I accidently discovered the silver end twists the product up in tube, some of it got smooshed. Luckily it does twist back down. I would have given it 5 stars if not for the 9 dollar price tag.

I think this would look better on those with less pigmented lips. I have been starting to realize that the reason so many lip products don't work for me when they seem so beautiful and perfect swatched online is because of how pigmented my lips are! I gave this 3 lippies because, while the shade itself way too bright and intense for me, the actual product's quality, lasting power, and moisturizing effect are all fantastic.
As for the shade Sweetheart, online all the swatches looked like a pretty poppy pink that even fair skin tones could pull off. Unfortunately when I put it on, it translated into a mix of hot pink, barbie pink, and fuschia. Once it faded into a lighter stain hours later, I liked the shade a bit better, it muted down into less of a bright pink, but I still didn't like it enough to keep it. I bought this in the shade honey too and just like sweetheart, the faded version was far more complementary on my lips. It seems like the two major problems with Revlon's Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain are the shade selection and that the shades all seem to look better once they have faded a lot.
Besides that, the product itself is AMAZING. I am so sorry to be returning this. I am always afraid when buying a lip stain that it will dry out my lips or make them flaky. Even in winter with my easily chapp-able lips, this balm stain not only did not dry my lips out at all but moisturized them completely! This felt smooth and lightweight on my lips. As for its staying power, I am beyond words. When I first bought sweetheart, I swatched it on my hand. I washed my hands multiple times, showered, even scrubbed with a paper towel, and the freaking stain was still there the next afternoon! Basically it stayed like 14 hours, and it would have stayed longer if I hadn't literally scrubbed my skin raw to get it off! It didn't stay quite that long on my lips but I can easily say you could wear this without reapplying for 10 hours.
Great product, unfortunately bad shade selection and prettier after it has faded for a few hours, at least for my fair skin and pigmented lips. However, if you don't have fair skin and can pull off more intense colors, this product is absolutely worth the money and I promise you'll swear by it!

This is super bright like a lot brighter than I thought it was when I originally bought it. However I did still really love it and it was go to everyday color all summer and into fall before I got into darker tones (like the Honey balm stain). I toned it down a bit by applying a blistex under it and mixing it. I always got compliments on it :) It brightens your smile. I gave it a four because it was so bright and pigmented which I wasn't expecting. And I probably wont buy it again because I still have more than half the stick left and I don't use it much anymore since it got colder.

This was my very first Revlon stain.
The product goes on smoothly and evenly. the color on my lips is very bright and vivid pink with more purple undertones.
The packing is good. It's pleasing to the eye, it does its job, and easy to store. The cap never came off, although this gets beaten around inside my purse all the time. There is no mess as with other liquid stains. That said, the very formula of this lip product is aboslutely genious.
I love this for two reasons- it's easy to use, and allows me to wear statement lip color. I love vivid lips, but I just can't deal with lipsticks- too much mess, always worrying about smudging, applying on the go, storing, etc.
Wear- it doesn't dry out my lips, granted, I'm a lip balm junkie, and with this I can still apply my lipbalm without interfearing with my lip makeup.
the stain this leaves behind is just lovely. lasts through eating/drinking/monologuing. I usually apply few coats of this, wipe off the product after a little while, and I am left with a gorgeous stain that really makes my lips look amazing.
Highly recommend

I LOVE these balm stains, I have them in many colours and Sweetheart is definitely one of my fav colours! It's a lovely fuschia pink that makes my pale skin look brighter. Very long-lasting and moisturizing, I can't get enough!

This is a very good product. It is very moisterising and keeps my lips moist for a while. The colour stays on for a decent amount of time. Very highly pigmented when first applied. It is also quite a buildable product. I would recommend this product.

When I fist got sweetheart I thought it would be a bit lighter looking than when I put it on...it's a really hot pink. I like the color it just doesn't look as good on me :/ but if i put it on really lightly it's good so I'm glad that they are buildable :) I have three right now but I will be getting more! My skin is pretty fair.

This works pretty well for me. I don't think it's a true stain, like Benetint or The Balm. but it's easier to apply and does last a long time, AND you don't have to worry about it spilling if you throw it in your purse. I combine Sweetheart and Honey to get the shade that's right for me. I also have this in Romantic, which is nice if I wipe most of it off. These feel great and the lips, kind of conditioning and not at all sticky. Very happy with this purchase.

I'm a wee bit obsessed with these balm stains. When they first came out I purchased several.
Things I love in general about the product: Chubby twist up stick, no sharpening. Lovely mint scent and tingle, very refreshing. Feels extremely light on lips, not greasy or waxy. Moisturizes nicely. Fades evenly for the most part.
Shade wise, Sweetheart is at least true to the fact that it is bright! I started getting a bit frustrated with some of the other stains balms simply because their colors morphed so much once they were on lips. Sweetheart is beautiful. It is this bright fresh pop of cool pink. This is one of those shades that I associate with spring, but can be used any time of year for a fresh springy look. The color is really clean looking and yes, your lips will demand attention. Definitely a color I would consider repurchasing.

The shade and formula are perfect. Very easy to apply, wearable bright shade and lasts a very long time. A lipstick stain that is not drying at all!! ♥ A must have for me!

I am so in love with these it's ridiculous. I own five but this one is by far my favorite. My lips don't have all that much color to them.. I'd call them a very light nude pink. This color wears a bright pinky fuchsia red on me and I loooooove it. I have green eyes and whenever I wear this color it just makes them pop so much, it's crazy. The texture is nice it's always very smooth. It wears really well on me too. I wear it while eating and drinking and never have severe problems with fading or smudging. It does take a little bit to actually absorb and set into the lips after application but I will gladly wait the extra 5 minutes for 5 hours of wear. Even after eating I don't really have to touch up but I do just to get the vibrancy back. I would buy this over and over and over again.

I've always wanted to try a stain, but I have dry lips and I'm more of a lipgloss kind of girl. I can't handle lipstick. Since this is promoted as a lip balm, I figured it would be moisturizing and light. It isn't either...it's more like a creamy lipstick, yet it's drying. It may be a coincidence, but the corners of my lips have started cracking since I started using this :/ Putting lipgloss over or under it seems to take away the longwearing stain capabilities. Not much point to it then. It is a pretty color...hot pink.

I love love love these balm stains, I have 6 in total and this is definitely my favorite. This applies really smoothly, similar to lovesick but I find the purple undertones make it more difficult to wear. Sweetheart is just a beautiful, and wearable bright pink. The stain is also pretty good as opposed to shades like Rendezvous and Honey, fades evenly and does not settle into lip lines, which I find crush does. So, Sweetheart is for sure my favorite balm stain so far!

I genuinely enjoyed this product. I find it to be very moisturizing and a beautiful color. I think the color is pretty darn close to the color of the packaging which is very helpful when trying to choose a shade. Typically I don't like colors that are this bright(i figured I'd try and be daring) but in this case I think it really works. I love to apply the color in the morning, blot it with a tissue until I get my desired color, and then apply a gloss over top. It looks sooo good, so give it a try girls (:

On me this is fuschia but I find if I tone it down with the honey color I can get it to work. The 2 combined make a nice workable color that lasts literally hours and hours. I'm gobsmacked at how long it lasts for this price. The formulation is a smidge drying but I'm okay with that. If Revlon would make more colors with these that I thought would work for me I'd buy more but based on this color I'm a little leery of the intensity of these because once applied they are on even after blotting. I even tried applying lip balm first--didn't phase it.

This is an absolutely perfect product. I never tried lipstains before, as I have only ever heard bad things about them. This is completely different than a typical stain, because it doesn't dry out your lips at all. It gives a flush of colour (which you can build up or just put it lightly on for a hint of colour). It looks like lipstick when you first apply it, but as it wears off it just looks like your lips are that colour. "Stain" is the perfect word to describe it. It lasts for hours, and it's definitely "kissable" as well, as it won't come off your lips. It smells kind of odd and minty at first, but the smell fades quickly. I also have found that this product is tasteless (which I find good, because I've encountered many lip products that taste disgusting). I also find it super easy to apply, because the packaging is perfect. The tip makes it easy to line your lips and fill them in. I have bought six shades of these now.
This colour is a fairly bright pink (not as bright as Smitten or Lovestruck). It's fairly loud, but not too out there. I really like it, especially after it fades a bit, because it looks just like a pinky tint.

Wow. First balm stain I tried and damn is the pigmentation great. Very intimidating. I don't wear it often though because I don't think I can pull off the bright pink that Sweetheart is. I was aiming for something lighter, but Sweetheart is still a great product so I gave it 5 lippies. Twist up packaging is good, no wasted product and there's a slight mint taste/smell that makes your lips a little bit tingly. I wouldn't buy it again, just because it's too bright for me, but it's a great product!
