Not the worst, but not good either. The idea is great, but it just doesn't work. The mascara clumps your lashes together in a very unattractive way if you apply too much. I would recommend only applying one layer during the "final" step (after applying the fibre portion). Also, if you try to apply this stuff to your lower lashes.. your bottom and top lashes will tend to stick together - not a pleasant feeling! I do not recommend, especially for the price.

Like another reviewer, I received this mascara in Sephora Favorites Super Stars collection. I was a little overwhelmed when I read the instructions, but decided to try it. I must say that I really do love the product, because it makes my short Asian lashes look a lot longer. Not fake like false lashes, but better, because I take my time to apply each step, and my eyelashes look naturally long! For me, it is definitely better than any other "false eyelash" mascara out there. But you really have to see if this works or you. The only thing that would prevent me form re-purchasing it is the price tag, which is absolutely ridiculous!

Someone have this to me otherwise I would have never tried it. It's okay. It does make my lashes big but it's messy, time consuming and hard to work with. My eye lashes seem to get clumpy when I use this and it's hard to take off at the end of the day. I'll use what i have but i won't be repurchasing this. There are better and less expensive mascaras out there- I'd steer clear of this one. Bare Minerals has some of the best mascaras that I've ever used - especially the volumizing one. I would Pick that one up if you're searching for a good mascara.

Can someone explain how to use this? I read the directions and applied accordingly but I got nothing but a big mascara mess. The mascara is extremely clumpy. The nylon fibers did not want to transfer onto my lashes so I was fighting with the wand for probably ten minutes, meanwhile the mascara dried hard as a rock on my eyelashes. Too much of a hassle. Pass.

By far the worst mascara I have ever used. Bought it because I normally like too faced products. But this goes on so thick and is a pain to take off, just so clumpy and gross. Sticking to my cover girl mascara's.

I got this from Sephora's Superstars collection (which I HIGHLY recommend because you get a great deal of stuff for less than half the price). I've always suffered from short lashes and I'm not the type of person who has the time to apply false ones everyday and so when I found this at Sephora, I wanted to get it, but my budget would not permit me. After I saw that it was included in the Superstars collection, I got it and now I'm using it almost everyday and it's absolutely great. It never clumped for me and it definitely gave me the length that I've always wanted. I see that others have minor problems with it, but it's been a great addition to my makeup collection.

This product wasn't very effective at giving me the length I wanted. Then again, it only offers to lengthen by 42%. Cherry Blooms fibre lash extensions however, will let you achieve longer and thicker lashes by up to 300%!! And it's amazing! So quick and easy! Cherry Blooms also uses BLACK fibres, contains all natural ingredients, HIGH GRADE beeswax (to keep the fibres from falling into your eyes). I ended up throwing Two Faced in the bin because I fell in love wit CB fibre lashes.

I received this mascara set in the Sephora Superstars Collection (great deal!)
I was hesitant to use this product after reading some mixed reviews. But, I decided to give it a go anyway to see for myself how it is.
Honestly, it worked out perfectly for me! The key to making this work is proper application.
Step 1 (Gold Tube) - Wipe off excess mascara and this will prevent a gooey mess. Next, apply one coat of mascara starting at the root of your lashes. Gently wiggle the mascara all the way up to the tip of lashes. The wiggle motion evenly separates the lashes and ensures even coverage.
Step 2 - Since I wear contact lenses, I can agree that the nylon fibers could easily irritate the eyes. However, in order to avoid this, I gently wipe off excess fibers, and while my eye is half way closed, I apply the fibers to only the middle/tips of my lashes (avoid root area) and this is what adds to the length!
Step 3 (Gold Tube) - Same a step 1, wipe of excess mascara, as this will be your second coat. Apply in gentle wiggle motions. At this point you should see well defined (non-spidery) long, glamorous lashes, without any goo!
This may sound time consuming, but it really only takes about 1 minute to compete both eyes!
Also, I love how easily it comes off! It's tubular mascara, so no makeup remover needed, just warm water and it slides off.
Overall, its important to not apply TOO much mascara in step one, causing stickiness and clumping. Chances are, you don't really need to use all of whats on the mascara brush, so it's key to wipe off excess along the opening. It's possible that some could be using more mascara than they think they need! In other words, "less is more!"
Anyway, hope this review helps!

I have struggled to find a "buy again" mascara and this is it for me. I have fairly long, black lashes and love a more dramatic look for my lashes. I used to have eyelash extensions and loved them. I would love to wear falsies everyday but does not make sense with my work/schedule. Hopefully that gives some perspective on where I am coming from..
It definitely adds length, a little more fullness but more-so length. If you try it at the store on one side you'll really see the difference. For days where you dont need that extra "oomph" the black mascara on its own works fine, length with less fullness. For the fibers to be effective you have to be accustomed to really combing/wiggling the brush into your lashes, which isn't a big deal because i've always done that.
I agree it can be sticky, if you get it on your face if you don't wipe it off immediately it can be a little tough but like any new product you either get used to it or get better at applying it. I find curling my lashes stops them from sticking together and/or blasting with cool air.
I love this product!

I have taken this back so many times to sephora! I love love love this mascara but I find after about two weeks it dries up and I can't use it anymore :-( has anyone else experienced this? I can't work out if its the fibres clogging up the mascara?
