Quality of NARS blush need not be explained. It is fantastic and will not irritate skin but has flawless staying power.
This colour is breathtaking. My girl at sephora helped me to find it when I had described to her that I was looking for an orangey-tanned-terra cotta blush. A couple she had showed me were extremely over the top and looked like clown makeup. This colour can be applied to be dramatic or subtle and is perfect on pale or tanned skin. Great for contouring as well...all around a perfect day to day blush made by a wonderful company.

I really loved the warmth this blush gave me. The SA suggested it after she mentioned she tried that blush on another customer with deep skin and she loved it too! This is a color that I don't think will work on all girls, but it's one worth trying. *Heard Rihanna wore this blush at the Golden Globes this year ; )* Not that makes a difference, just wanted to share the knowledge!
Specifics: Warm terracotta colored matte blush. Smooth in texture, amazing color payoff, last for atleast 6 hours. Cost me $28 at Sephora

This blush seriously took me by surprise, I usually don't like really red blushes, but I got a few tips on how to apply it, just using a little product goes a LONG way & the color stay on is amazing . I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an investment in blush :)

Love nars liberte swatches it at sephora and all the way home I kept thinking about this beautiful color went home did some resreach and found out this was nars summer blush for some reason I got it and didn't use it now it November and I love wearing this blush for fall/winter it really brighten up my face its a peach orange gold color not like nars tai mahal which was to intense and shiny for me this is perfect and way less shimmery I love it its quickly becoming on of my favorite blusher

For Reference I am Nars Mont Blanc, NC/NW 07-10.
I am swapping away this blush today.
But do not think less of this blush for it being swapped. I love, love, love this color. I thought is was a beautiful Apricot peachy/orange. I personally thought the pigmentation was lovely. I had to use a very like hand, and it Blended into a beautiful glow using my Nars Yachiyo brush (I also got the same result using my Mac 116). It is easy to get a more dramatic amount of color with this blush, though if you are interested in a stronger Orange most people seem disappointed in this blush and prefer Exhibit A. I wasn't interested in something so strongly orange.
My reason for swapping away the blush is simply that the Ingredient Bismuth oxychloride irritates my skin. It is one of the bottom ingredients so the effects weren't as bad as some products, but it still caused breaking out. The one I am swapping I didn't use, I loved the color so much, that after the second time I used it, I went and bought a second box, because I didn't want to run out. Sadly, I cannot repurchase it again now.
If you like Nars blushes, this is a lovely one.

I am a blush fiend and while scrolling through older posts on temptalia I came across Christine's review of liberate and while she did not like it herself I knew on my golden olive skin it would be awesome as it was a cross between taj mahal and exhibit a. taj mahal gives me the bronzy tanned look and liberte is this nice terra-cotta color that just livens up my face I would say its a darker version of MUFE gel blush in number 12 which is a orangey coral. Its a great color and would suit any tanned/olive woman well! I have used it on and off for the last three weeks with no complaints. Thanks to nars for another hit! I would not purchase again as I have an arsenal of blushes that will get me through this life and the next lol.

OMG! Im just speechless, this blush is absolutely gorgeous on my skintone. I'm an NC40-42. This had to be the throne from my other two favourite blush: MAC gingerly and BB apricot. I wanted to give the sales lady a big Thank you at the Nars counter; she says that it would look beautiful against my skintone and I would regret if I didn't buy.

I love the color, perfect on my nc45 skin. A bit more toned down but still beautiful. I get so many compliments when I wear this blush. 4 stars only because its not as easy to blend like the other Nars blushes.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Normal, Tan Hair: Black Eyes: Brown
This blush is perfect for warm skin tones! It has depth and adds warmth to my skin without the look of hey I'm wearing blush! It's easy to blend like all nars blushes and no glitter. It renders lighter than what you see in the pan so don't be intimidated. I gave this four stars as it may only work in the summer but will see how it looks in the fall and winter to confirm that it is universal through seasons. Love this purchase!

Im so happy i waited for this blush. On my AA skin it looks like Torrid minus the glitter which is a big yay for me. I find the blush to be really pigmented

Nice take on Tangerine Tango (2012 Pantone Color of the Year). Liberté works well with my skin tone (NC 40/42 or Barcelona/Syracuse in NARS Sheer Glow), and it's not incredibly difficult to manipulate. I have issues overdoing blush for some reason, so I am not upset by a more forgivable pigmentation level that can be built up easily.

I, too, ordered Liberte as soon as it appeared on the NARS site. And, I, too am not wowed. I'm NC15 and I love my Exhibit A. I thought this would be an orangey that, alas, no. It's not so pigmented-- I'm used to using a VERY light hand with NARS blushes. Exhibit A (my fav) needs a stippling brush and a light hand all at once, I guess a fan brush would work too. Anyhow, Liberte is a warm brick red or dark orangey/red with a dash of brown in it. Not spectacular, sorry, NARS.

I wanted to rush home and write a review on this blush because I think its 'amazing' - however, I think the colour can be a bit tricky to wear if you're cooler in skin tone or very fair. The colour is described on the nars website as 'burnished apricot', but I'd say its more of an orange-based coral shade - or a brighter coral with a lot of warmth. I have a golden beige skin tone leaning warm olive and this blush is perfect against my skin and works SO well with the golden/warmth in my skin. However, I can totally see this colour clashing with a very pink or cool skin tone or even with someone who is looking for a softer blush - this blush is definitely more on the brighter side of the spectrum! I wear it with NARS new Moscow matte lipstick and the combination is ultra-sexy!!!

I'm an NC25 right now, and this blush is amazing. i use a stippling brush to apply this, and even then i use an extremely light hand. it brightens my complexion and also makes me appear more tanned. I highly recommend this. I didn't have any problems with the formula... Just the perfect summer blush colour! love love love this.

I didn't love this either, and I'm light toned. In my opinion, it's an unnecessary color in Nars' lineup of already good blushes. I didn't have a problem with the texture, but this definitely didn't seem that pigmented. Probably done on purpose so the color would be wearable, and not come on so strong.

Ordered this blush online as soon as it appeared on the Nars website...got it in two days and the first day I tried it out I wasn't really wowed like I thought I would be. The color is a brick orange and a tad darker than Gilda just underneath Exhibit A. Upon application it was very patchy and spotty and the texture was somewhat drier than the other Nars blushes I have. Even when I tried swatching it on my hand it barely showed up and took several swipes for it to appear. After applying on my cheeks it just appeared really red and didn't go to well with my skintone. I am about an NC45 in Mac with deep golden undertones and after seeing the infamous pic of Rihanna wearing this blush for the golden globes I thought it would be that perfect bronze/deep golden shade that would almost look like a bronzer but it didn't. I'm sure it would look amazing on paler skintones with a light hand just to give a flush to the cheek or even on deeper skintones it would really add a pop to the skin. But this blush just wasn't for me.
