I really wanted to like this colour! It looks so nice in the pan, and when you swatch it...but on the eyes the texture of it ruins it! The glitter is s chunky and it doesn't stick to my lids, even with a primer...and oh god the fallout. If im very careful I can make it work but there are a lot of bronz-y tan colours out there that are similar and not so difficult to use.

i don't quite understand the relatively low rating this Mac shadow has compared to others. i had no problem with its pigmentation and i didn't notice much fallout, and i feel this color is quite unique and pleasant to wear for summer! it adds a bronze-y finished look (i have fair skin) that's flattering and natural.

A little quick something about me: I don't like when I can't find dupes of MAC eye shadows that I like. So naturally, I did not want to like this color because of the price ($15). However, I cannot find one brand that is approx. this shade that has the same pigmentation and long wear effects. Kudos, MAC. I can't find anything to replace this Honesty color...honestly lol. This color looks amazing in the crease especially over a white bone type of shade.

Great color, but it needs to be for someone with warm undertones. It looks too orange on my NW15 skin. This eyeshadow also needs a strong primer so the glitter sticks. If you get this part down, the finish is very nice. I'm jealous how awesome it looks on my roommate.

I got this as a gift and am glad that I didn't pay for it. It seems like a fun color but it just doesn't work. As other reviewers have noted, it doesn't seem to have a base color. Rather, it goes on as a layer of large glittery chunks with no color underneath. The glittery chunks are a warm bronze color that simply makes me look orange. Not a fan.

Mac should discontinue this shade just because it has no pigmentation at all. it swatched good on my hand but on my lid it has no payoff.

like other reviewers said, this looks totally different on the eye than in the pan. it turns a bronzey sparkly color. it goes on extremely sheer without a base. I usually just use concealer as a base. I like it, it brings out the gold in my eyes. I use it in the inner corners and to blend the darker color in my crease. No more mac lusters for me though!

This is far from my favorite MAC eyeshadow. It looked great in the pan but it transferred totally different on my eyelid than it looks in the pan. Its goes on my skin as a blah sort of brown not a beige with sparkle and the glitter falls out during application. Like most MAC eyeshadows it does last all day with an eye primer underneath. I said no to repurchase but I don't think I'll ever go through the Honesty eyeshadow I have right now. I love MAC eyeshadows but this disappointed me big time!

I love this shadow...i am, by no means, a MAC officianado. I own a total of MAC four shadows, and this is the one I reach for over and over. I don't use it as an all over lid color, but rather as an enhancer...a little in the crease, or in the corner of the eye, adds a lovely sparkle to the color...i lean towards browns, neutrals, taupes, greens, and this one goes with almost everything as a pop of color and shimmer..love it..a staple

I don't get all this hating!!! It looks great on me and it has no glitter fallouts. I got it as a gift from my cousin and usually i don't like other people buying me makeup, but he did reeeealy well. It's a daytime eyeshadow since it doesnt have dark pigmentations. But, honestly (haha) honesty is a really great shadow.

I was planning to repurchase my Arena and came accross with this. I decided to give it a try (one of the rare purchases without reading MUA) and I like it a lot. My eyes are hazel with lots of gold lines. This color brightened my eyes and made them look greener. I think it's great for daytime and can be paired with more vibrant colors for the night. I think Arena and Honesty are very close peachy colors, but this one has a little more shimmer which helps with brightening the eyes. I use Honesty all over my lid, Saddle on the crease, and Brule on the brow bone. A brown eyeliner and here I am with a natural looking daytime eye makeup.

This has to be the worst MAC eyeshadow i own. The pigmentation is horrible and there is a ton of glittery fallout during application.

Like most MAC lustres, Honesty sucks. horrible pigmentation, lots of fallout. If it had a better formula it would be a great color.
i used my brush wet, and it made absolutely NO difference. i dont even know how that's possible.

amazing all over shimmery light brown eye color for a neutral every day look with some highlighter on the browbone and inner corner, but can be dressed up quickly with a proper dark crease color like satin taupe or romp and some heavier eyeliner and mascara. LOVE this.

This is a great nuetral color if you are cool toned. It definately shows up on my eyelids with or wothout a primer. I use it as an everyday color and love the sparkly look it gives my eyes. It is a very basic color, and I am sure every line has a color like this, but since I have the Mac one and I like it, I see no other reason to look for a light brown with a silver glitter/shimmer mix.

Ugh, I always look at swatches before i buy shadow online and after seeing a few of Honesty i decided to buy it. I wish i didn't tho! There's hardly any color pay off and it mostly just adds glitter not color. It's in my pallet and makes a huge mess so i never use it.

This eyeshadow isn't getting as much love as it deserves. Yes, it is sheer, but it is a lustre! I don't know what it is, it really does look nice on my eyelids. It makes me look awake and paired with a darker, golden toned brown (read: mac's bronze e/s) in the outer V it is just beautiful!
This would be perfect for a bronze look, going to the beach or just on those days when you don't want to spend an hour on 'rainbow eyes'!

I really like this product for a natural look. I wear this almost everyday and it makes my look more fresh. It though isn't as pigmented as mac's eyeshadows usually are. I find it working the best applying it with my finger instead of an eye-shadow-brush.
