Once you figure out the beat way to apply it, the colors are very beautiful on. Just takes some time to figure out. I own 2 and wear them often.

I do like the texture of this blush and the colour is very pretty and glowing. However I don't think that it shows up on my cheeks very well at all. I can hardly tell it's there when I'm wearing it. I don't know how much they retail for in stores in NZ but I got it for $14 at a sale to try it out. I have heard so much about it so I wanted to make up my own mind. I may reurchase (depending on the price) in another shade to see if it is better suited to my skin tone.

I really love the texture of these bouncy blushes. This shade is a warm pale pink that really flatters my pale face. However, it's not really very pigmented and I think darker complexions would be disappointed.

I like the packaging and I like the texture of the blush. That being said, this is not really a blush for me as there is almost no color payoff! However, I do find this color works great as a highlight on my cheeks so that's what I use it for and it gives me a light rosy, peachy-pink subtle glow. I would not recommend this blush because honestly it is not worth the money and you will get no color payoff if you are medium-beige skintone.

I like this blush I love the texture and the way it applies, I would buy another dream bouncy blush but I would get a different color there's nothing wrong with this color it's just not exactly the color I thought it was going to be.

See my review for the Dream Bouncy Blush (all colors) for my general view on these. I want to specifically describe the color for this particular review. Rose Petal is a pale pink shade.

I was very disappointed with this product...After looking at other colors, I thought this color was pretty and would show up nice on my cheeks but the texture was too moussy that it is hard to take it on my hand evenly and i have to end up taking only a small bit or a lot, which looks unnatural on my cheeks.
The color did not show up well at all. It looked really shimmery and too light pink than how it actually looks like on the product.
It feels like I wasted my money on something thats not worth it...

I looked at this blush for quite awhile before buying.........the color was so pretty and finally I broke down and tried it. I also got the peach colored one as well as it was a buy one and get half off of one at Rite Aid. I am pretty fair and pale and really..........this did not show up very well on me. Not that I mind too much as I only need a tiny amount of color but I was a bit disappointed with that. Also, the texture surprised me. It was very soft to the point that I felt I could smush it if I wasn't careful. The main thing that botherd me was the AWFUL SMELL! It was so gross........very chemical-like and basically smelled like something I definitely do not want sitting on my skin all day. I returned both and thankfully Rite Aid gives refunds!

Ew, the texture is to soft and gross, not what I expected. It's harder to blend on your cheeks like other powders blushes. I do like the colour though, but everything was basically a rip off.

I was very diappointed with this blush, both the colour and the texture. Wasn't sure if I should apply with my fingers or a brush, but either way I can barely see it on my cheeks. When I try to use the product on my fingertips to apply it just kind of mushes around in the packaging and doesn't really go on my finger. I would not purchase this type of blush again, would stick with powder blush.

EDIT March 2013 - Still like this blush -- tried other brands and still my favorite. Once you get over the weird texture and odd application techniques its a wonderful product. I use a blush brush now and it applies fluidly.
The texture is fun. It's also a little weird and I keep wanting to play with it.
At first, I didn't think this color was very pigmented (I'd also bought Pink Plum). The trick with these bouncy blushes is it seems to take a few uses before their true colors shine.
This color looks nice in the packaging, but I was initially disappointed with the color payout. Since I paid 8 bucks for it, I forced myself to play around with it. For some reason, these blushes appear to have an un-pigmented film over the top, because after the first 4-5 days I really started to pick up more color (in the beginning it was hardly noticeable and I'd checked this color off my list).
Now I get more of a color payout, since I played around with the consistency and also smashed it a bit with my finger. This color is a soft coral peach, and it is build-able. I'd say now, the color is comparable to the color payout from Pink Plum. I also only use my finger and blend it on my cheeks. I had NO luck using a blush brush. I do like the creaminess of these blushes, and the hint of shimmer.
If at first you don't see results, just keep playing with it. You'll find your natural groove when applying it. Don't be nervous, just get your finger in it and smash it down (helps with picking up pigment). After about a week and a half of use, I can now say I'm happy with the color payout and the look.

Color: light peachy pink
Texture: clay-like, creamy and squishy
Wear Time: 4-5 hours
Pigmentation: sheer, yet buildable. I could wear this as a natural flush since my skin is fair. I'm NW15-20 for reference
Price: 6-7 dollars
I recommend this for those with very fair skin. However, the brighter, deeper colors would be better purchases and much more versatile.

I loved the colour of this blush in the package. It looked like the perfect pink for fair skin. Sadly, there were no testers in the Target I was in. This product has no pigment whatsoever. It doesn't show up AT ALL and I am very pale. I can't even use it as a highlight because it's matte. Booh! Don't waste your money.
Maybe some of the other colours actually have pigment and show up? The "bouncy" texture is cool & unique, but seriously, the "rose petal" is a complete & utter fail.

Don't buy this blush if you are medium to dark skintone because it doesn't show up :( unless you want to pack on layers and layers. This is a really pretty colour and I do like the texture but it just doesn't work for my skintone.

I can't ever tell if I like this blush or if I don't...I really like the formula of it, but it is so sheer that I'm hard pressed to find the color on my face after I've applied it.
I have not tried any of the other blushes in the Dream Bouncy line, so maybe it is just this particular blush, but stay away from it because it honestly doesn't do anything.

I bought this blush a couple of months ago, but I just got around to trying it today. I'm disappointed because I tried applying it both with my fingers and a blush brush and nothing showed up on my cheeks! Back to the store it goes. I guess I will just stick with my usual CoverGirl blush in Rose Silk.

I like it. I like it a lot. Being one of the fairest people to have walked the earth, it's a good choice. This color is pretty light and airy. I only need a tiny bit for it to light up my cheeks. Cool texture too. (:

I was drawn to the product by its intriguing name. The texture is a mousse-like cream blush. The color selection is great, ranging from brights to natural hues. Now that I've tried this product I'm severely disappointed. The pigmentation is mediocre, barely anything shows up. For those who like minimal makeup or are new, then get this. If not, then you're just wasting your cash in my opinion.

I love trying new products, particularly when they are reasonably priced. While the colour of this blush is perfect, the useability of this blush leaves much to be desired. It is awkward to use, difficult to apply, quickly gets used up and leaves the compact very messy. I either apply not enough, or way too much. Parent company L'Oreal's Magic Smooth Souffle is more expensive, but easier to use, packs a lot more product in its case and is way neater.
