Mixed feelings about this conditioner. It did what it was supposed to do with my split ends.

It made my split ends look way, way better - I could skip the flat iron when I used it. (I have 95% straight hair, with just a bit of wave to iron out.)

But after about 6 days of use it started looking really lank and felt dirty - not soft, not swingy.

If I could get the results in one use, I'd use it occasionally but it takes me 4+ uses to really look good.

I actually re-registered to reactivate my account and write a review for this product. That's how compelled I am to ward people off this product!

My hair is generally non fussy, which is why I just buy whatever conditioner I fancy. I started using this product and did not realise this was the cause of my hair being extremely stringy, matted and lifeless.

I hve permed, slightly wavy hair and I can't even put one finger through my hair without tearing half of my hair out.

Girls with wavy/curly hair, STAY AWAY from this product. Actually, if you have any hair at all, stay away from this product!

I had to fix my hair from this conditioner by using non-protein, moisturizing products.

The only good thing about this product is the price.

I honestly have never hated a conditioner more. This left my hair so heavy, stringy and yet at the same time, unconditioned, like it just sat on my hair and didn't fully penetrate. I was surprised because usually Treseme products are "decent"...what I'll use in between my salon brand splurges to carry me over. I had to wash my hair twice to get it back to normal/non-residue feeling.

I love Tresemme a lot and none of their products ever disappoint me... but this one was a let down. The formula was just terrible. The shampoo left behind residue and the conditioner felt like glue in the shower and once the hair was dry it felt stiff and straw-like. I also used the leave in spray stuff with it and it was just as bad. If you love the smell, try their Keratin Smooth line. It smells the same and works a lot nicer.

This is by far the worst conditioner I have ever used, and I would consider myself a product junkie.

The consistency of the conditioner was like watered down Elmers glue, and that's what it feels like in my hair now dry.

In the shower it didnt have much slip at all and I had a hard time finger combing it through my hair.

Out of the shower it felt a little bitter but once I started blowdrying it was all downhill from there. I've never been one to have tangly hair, infact I never even brush my hair...this product has turned my hair into a rats nest. it feels like I've bleached my hair and washed it with glue. It's dry, crunchy and tangly. Don't waste your money on this ! You'll regret it.

Was given this to trial. My hair has never been so dry & tangled :( Had to start using a leave in treatment daily to counteract it.

This made my hair feel very dry and tangly. It did not moisturizer at all and didn't even have a very nice smell. In the shower while my hair was still wet, it didn't even have much slip to it. So I definitely will not be purchasing again

I received this as a sample w/ the Shampoo. They claim it’s best used together (of course) so I did. They also claim that results will appear after three uses, so I am reviewing this after the third use. From the sample bottles, I am not sure if their claims are to strengthen the hair to prevent future split-ends, or to actually get rid of and fix current split ends, or all of the above.

Status of hair before use: Haven’t had a haircut for at least 7 months (I know, terrible, but had many reasons). Finally got an appointment at the end of the month, but I needed to do something about the split ends that have developed on my long, straight, now dry hair. Otherwise, I would have to cut my hair shorter than I really want to.

Results? Soft hair, but not super shiny or silky. And where are those split ends? I don’t know how the shampoo/conditioner could possible “get rid” of them entirely, but they are less noticeable now. I can still see them if I look hard enough. At least I am able to run my fingers through it without any knots. Seems like it’s moisturizing enough to last me another month.

This conditioner was just awful for my hair. I have very long fine hair. Recently it has become dry, frizzy, and I noticed a lot of split ends. I picked up this conditioner in hopes of taming my hair down a bit. It is a really weird glue-y and slimy consistency. I thought maybe that was what made it bond split ends. The conditioner also has has these tiny white specks/beads in it. I thought maybe the slimy consistency and the specks were what bonded split ends. I was wrong. After a week of daily use, my hair become more rough, frizzy, and tangled. The conditioner didn't moisturize my hair one bit. And the white specks do not rinse out properly. If you have dark hair, they will show once dry! I regret spending money on this!

It smells great and it does what it says.

I had a lot of split ends before using this and I mean.. A LOT!
After maybe three uses I noticed most of my split ends weren't split anymore! It looked like they were bonding back together. It's amazing really.

Let me just start off by saying that the reason I purchased this product was to help remedy my split ends...but this product just made them worse. The conditioner was not the right texture, it did not feel silky or soft while wet. I pretty much always comb my hair while showering, but even that was difficult. I used this product for about 2 weeks before realizing that the cause of my hair breaking off 6 inches from the end was being caused by this shampoo and conditioner combo. My hair is a little longer then bra length and its an average thickness. I could not run my fingers through my hair during the day because it felt like it was stuck together. When I brushed me dry hair, I would have broken hair all over the floor, counter and on myself. I would NEVER buy this particular product from Tresemme again. I immediately changed my hair product and amazingly my hair was back at least brushable after the first use. My hair is still recovering from the damage cause by Tresemme Split End Remedy. Now I'm out $10 bucks and damaged hair... :-(

best conditioner i have ever used hands down HG and nothing works for me i have used all including all salon..redken all soft etc anything you name it i have used it... kiehls..
this is the BEST and I cant believe its $4 for a HUGE bottle
im ecstatic, it didnt stop working either.

I HATE the other tresemme conditioners by the way.
ONLY this one is good to me and its EXTRA good,awesome,cant even believe it.

I got this conditioner for free at a beauty event in a really huge 500 ml. bottle and started using it with no expectations at all (besides from trying to get rid of such an enormous packaging). Until then, none of the products I've seen from the brand caught my attention, as I didn't consider any of them would help me with the specific issues of my hair - sebum excess and loss of volume.
This one, however, turned out to be a nice surprise. Not only it did not weight the hair down (my biggest fear when it comes to products with a creamy consistency) but really help me with the moisture kick that the ends of my shoulder-long hair were lacking. Additionally, I noticed that it also made so much easier the wet combing process, especially with some stubborn tangles that I tend to have at the nape of my head. A wallnut-sized amount of product is enough to reach this results.

So yes, I must yield to the marketing and confirm that it indeed does what it promises. Maybe you won't trim your hair less often, but at least you can spare yourself to the shame of showing up in your salon with an all-split mess, which is obviously money-worthy.

I find that this product is decent but their are better out their it leaves my hair particularly smooth but gives it a weird texture a word to describe it would be gunky! Split ends can not be prepared no matter what you buy when your hair is split it is split!

This was awful! Dry tangled hair was the result from using this crap. I even had the leave-in-conditioner from this line. It made my ends way worse. Then I looked at the ingredients...hydrolyzed keratin...the culprit. Avoid this line from tresemme like the plague!

Awful. I just bought this conditioner the other day, since I am a fan of TRESemme's conditioners. When I put it in on it felt like I was rubbing glue into my hair. Thought "Oh maybe this is just how it feels...." I waited about two minutes and rinsed. My hair did not feel moisturized even when it was still wet. Although I will say, for some reason it was pretty easy to comb my hair out (when wet). When my hair dried, it felt sticky and dry all day and was constantly getting tangled. I would brush it and my ends would get all staticy. Used it again this morning, just to give it another shot and got the same result. Worst conditioner I have ever used. I threw both the shampoo and conditioner in the garbage.

I HATE this product. It was terrible on my hair and didn't moisturize one bit. It was one of the weirdest conditioners I have ever used. It didn't even feel like it penetrated into my hair and did not leave my hair silky in the least. It almost felt like a shampoo instead of a conditioner. I even combed it through my hair with a wide toothed comb, like I do all conditioners. When I rinsed, it left my hair with an oily, odd film that made my hair look greasy & tangled. I will never purchase this again! BTW,I've got fine hair that is very long. I cant see this stuff working for anyone!

This stuff was awful! I used this right before getting my hair trimmed a couple of months back. It's hard to explain, but this stuff coated my hair with a weird film and the conditioner left it.. STICKY! My hair felt like sticky plastic. I don't know how to explain it. This shampoo and conditioner combo was just weird people! WEIRD! I did not like at all. Terrible. Do not recommend.

I love this conditioner. It leaves my hair feeling soft and smooth afterwards. It also smells amazing, and the smell stays in a long time. Of course it doesn't actually "get rid of" split ends (Only getting a haircut will do that) but it does help to conceal them.
