The color is beautiful! I'm super pale, so it doesn't look the best one me (would be even better on tan skin!), but I still get compliments on it whenever I wear it.

My biggest issue with it is the application process. It needs at least 3 coats to look even moderately opaque, but I normally end up with a 4th coat since some of the streaks from the first two coats show through. The more coats you put on, the easier it is to mess up a nail and smudge it, so put aside at least an hour before you do anything with your hands to ensure they are completely dry.
Very disappointed, such a unique color that didn't meet up to my expectations.

I really hope I can find a clone of this color with a different brand. Or Essie just needs to change the formula without sacrificing the color, 4 coats and a super slow drying time is ridiculous!

I love the color both in the bottle and on my fingers but that's about it. Way too runny and streaky.

I really wanted to love this polish. In the bottle, it's a beautiful creamy light peach. However, on my nails it was a mess. The formula is so hard to work with--in some areas it was way too thick and goopy, and in others it left big gaps that would only look worse if I tried to cover them up. The formula for other Essie polishes I've tried (Turquoise and Caicos, for example) don't have nearly as terrible a formula as this one. I haven't seen a dupe of this color anywhere, but I really hope I will find one someday, because A Crewed Interest is not getting a repurchase from me.

As other people have noted, the formula is super streaky, and I also needed around 4-5 layers before it was opaque. That made the nail polish look clumsy and not light as would be expected with a color like this. I was quite disappointed because I really liked the colour and looked forward to wearing it during the summer, but that never happened. The nail polish came with the new broader brush, which I love, but it didn't make up for the streakiness and the beyond bad formula. It's a pity because the colour looks so nice.

This is such a lovely color, it's a pity the formula is less than great. My job doesn't allow crazy wacky colors or fun manicures, so I picked this up as a way to subtly spice up my nails. The polish is so ridiculously streaky and sheer. It took me about four coats to build it to an almost opaque color. I can still see my nail lines when I hold my hands up to the light, but I was afraid of putting another coat on, lest I get that awful globby texture that never seems to dry. As for the color, it's a cool toned pinkish peach, I think this would look lovely on a range of skintones. I wish the formula were better, if so this would be one of my go to work friendly polishes. Unfortunately, I'll have to save this for the times when I'm patient enough to work with it.

Super disappointed with this buy. I bought this back in the summertime because it was so beautiful and went perfectly with my skintone. Formula is STREAKY TO THE MAX! I had to use 4-5 ridiculously thick coats to get rid of the streaky spots, even took it to my favorite nail salon hoping they would have better luck, but still the same problem. Overall disappointment, wish Essie could be consistent with their polishes.

This is a sad case of a pretty colour having a horrible formula. It is a gorgeous nice pinky-peach colour. Great neutral. I wouldn't know anything else about it, seeing it didn't even last an hour on my nnails- that's how bad it smudged.

Application: 1/5
Colour Turnout: 3.5/5

I cannot express how much of a disappointment this nail polish was. I was looking forward to having a great pinky-peach neutral. I put like four coats on, drying time was awful, horrible mess to try and make it opaque and not streaky. I waited forever for it to dry, but it just ended up smearing everywhere. I never even got a chance to wear it, because it smudged immediately. And not like a minor smudge, as a messed up all my nails so horribly you can't fix it.
DO NOT BUY THIS POLISH!

This color is so gorgeous on the nails. However, I hate using it because the application is sooo awful. It takes AT LEAST 3 coats to be opaque and sometimes still looks streaky.I'm so torn because I really do love the color but because of the application I'm going to look for a similar color from another brand.

I am obsessed with this color! The first time I saw it at my local target I wanted it but didn't buy it. Big mistake because it was sold out every time I went back. I finally tracked it down and bought it a few weeks ago and let me say the color is fantastic. I've read some reviews that claim it's streaky but I've had no problem with any streaking from my polish. Maybe they did make a bad batch? All in all a great Spring / Summer color and can't wait to wear it again and again.

This is one of the Essie polishes with the notoriously bad formulation. And I was hoping I could get it to work because the peachy color is so beautiful. Usually the colors that are known for their streakiness I can get to work just fine with a proper base coat and some patience. But after 3 or 4 thick coats over a base coat to combat the streakiness, It was so thick and gloopy that it took hours to dry. It's sad that such a gorgeous color has to be so high maintenance.

Loooooooooove this color!!

You know you are a nail polish freak when you read bad reviews about a certain nail polish color and still go ahead and purchase it. I just had to have Essie's "A Crewed Interest" because I liked this shade a lot.

Is there a "spoiled" batch available in the market? Because I didn't have any trouble with the application: 2 coats=opaque, streak free, sweat free. I think it would look uber chic if the formula had the same subtle shimmer as shown on Essie's "All Tied Up", Regardless, I absolutely love this color: it matches my mood, it plays well with my skin tone, it's modern and "approved" by the corporate work environment.

I'm sorry for those of you who bought it online and ended up hating the color. :, ( But for those who are kinda iffy about it (buy ir or leave it), just try to swatch it while at the shop, if there is a sales rep. available ask her/ him if you can swatch it on a piece of glossy paper or anywhere else suitable.

I'm glad I purchased this color, and 1 bottle should last me a long time as I have tons of other nail polishes I like using as well. : )

Good luck.

As others have said before, very streaky application. It is thick and difficult to work with. But the color is soooooooooo beautiful. At times even with so many coats my nails still look terrible but when I can get the nailpolish on right it looks absolutely gorgeous. I don't think it's worth the hassle though. Also I've worn the polish 4 or 5 times and I'm more than halfway through the bottle. Such a waste because at times i have to remove the entire nail if i mess up on one coat.

I LOOOVE this color! In the bottle, it's a soft and pretty peach. On my naturally olive/tan Filipino skin, it looks like a pale (yet still pretty) salmon color. This is the perfect Spring/Summer everyday and every occasion color, and my hands always look so pretty and polished when I have it on. The major downer is that it takes several coats (3 at least) because it's so streaky. When I first opened the bottle, the consistency was smooth and not too difficult to deal with, but the second time I used "A Crewed Interest", it was suddenly very gloopy. The streaking was worse after being opened. This is unfortunate because this is my favorite color. Tarte Deco is slightly too orange-toned/bright on me. I'd really like to add some kind of gold accent to this because I think it would look beautiful. :) Overall, love the color, but wish they would fix the streakiness.

As others have mentioned, the "Crewed Interest" formula is a big disappointment. It's completely unlike any other Essie polish I have tried -- it's so bad that it reminds me of the watery Wet 'n' Wild "Wild Shine" line, which I unabashedly hate.

If you've already bought "A Crewed Interest," I suggest applying two coats and then putting on a topcoat of a different color, ideally something more sheer -- a pale gold like Sinful Colors' "This Is It," or Essie's "Pink Diamond." But if you haven't already spent the money . . . don't.

(Edit: Just tried it over a white basecoat. Still streaky.)

I love this nail polish!!! It looks so classy on my nails. I love Essie nail polishes but this one really stands out. I generally prefer creamy formula so this one was a must-have. The color is sooo pretty that when it peeled off (after about 5 to 6 days), I had to apply it again so I could look at it a little bit longer. LOL I have a light/medium skin and as I said it looks gorgeous on. The application was also great. If you want a sheerer coverage (not sheer) than apply 2 coats, if you want the true opaque color than you have to go with 3 coats but to be honest that's very common with light colors like that so for me it's not something that weighs the product down. Even though it came out in Essie spring collection, I think you can wear this color throughout the whole year due to its neutral color. Recommend!!!

I want to love this nail color. Actually, I do love this nail polish color. Soooo much. It's the formula that I don't love.

The color itself is perfect. It's a great pinky / peach color....just indiscernible enough to make it both an interesting and wearable color for almost anyone.

However, the formula of this product is just terrible. It's incredibly streaky and gloopy which makes it nearly impossible to apply evenly over the fingernail.

So unfortunate as the color is grade-A perfect.

it's awesome. Great color, great application, it's the color I've wanted for years (I thought Van D'Go was too pink/not peachy enough) and this is a real peachy pastel color. And it's opaque like all Essies. I will keep on buying.

I love this shade, hope it becomes permanent. It's a perfect peachy pale color which makes me look tanned! Opaque in two coats, takes a while before chipping. It's a girly peachy shade that I recommend to you if your looking for pastel colors! My skin looks so great with this on!
