I bought this on a whim at Sephora and regret buying it. It sits in my makeup bag (why didn't I return it? I don't know!) and every so often I try it again because I think, "I can't hate it as much as I think I do." Except yep, I still hate it!

It provides light to medium coverage but feels incredibly heavy and oily on my face. The lightest shade was still far too dark and the color was too warm for me. It oxidizes on my face, making the already terrible color match look even worse. I am still pretty youthful looking but this makeup settles into fine lines I never even knew I had!

The packaging is pretty nice. I love the matte finish of the bottle, since I'm a dropper and have ruined more than a few products by dropping them on my tile bathroom floor. It's a cute little frosted bottle that hasn't had any spillage. Sometimes, though, the pump will just randomly stop working for a few pumps, causing product to just sputter out in little splatters.

I have very dry, flaky skin and like a dewy finish, but this just felt like it never finished drying. It came off easily on every single thing my face came into contact to.

About this product: Got this foundation in "champagne" from How to Look the Best at Everything set shade light. It comes with hard plastic bottle with pump and I think the packaging is somewhat cute. The product itself is lightweight and is suitable for yellow-undertoned skin.

I really wanted to love this foundation because it claims to contains oxygen within it and I like the packaging of this foundation, no lie. However after around the 3rd time of using this, my skin got angry and breakout really badly. I think it's from something in this foundation, not sure, but I have never had it in my entire life BEFORE. My skin got infected from what my skin doctor said. I do not fully blame this foundation (prolly got it from something else also) but yes, it definitely worsened it.

I wouldn't recommend this to anyone whose skin is sensitive, oily, and acne-proned (Stay away from this foundation girls!). Definitely not repurchasing it, it's just not worth it. Sorry Benefit, but this product is a "two thumbs down" :( boo!

I am currently having a foundation crisis and trying out different foundations to find the right one for me. This foundation was recommended by a Sephora SA. I applied this foundation with the beauty blender and it was the perfect color match! I asked my fiance how the foundation looked and he said, where did you apply it. I was on cloud 9! It looked natural, had pretty good coverage was the perfect color for me and had a slight dewy finish to it. And then a couple of hours later, the foundation had literally melted off my face, there was no sign of it, and I looked like an oil slick.

I am sure this foundation would work great for dry/normal skin, but not for oily skin. Going right back to sephora

Really disliked this! Made my skin super oily, not suitable for pale skin tones (nw15) no coverage and very expensive. Wouldn't recommend to anyone

the SA recommended "Im all the rage beige" but its actually too dark for my skin (nc20, bourjois 53, MUFE 120, CD020) so Im still trying to work out how to lighten it, formula is ok, overall not worth it i think

I wanted to love this product, but the color choices were just so horrible. The color gave me such an orange tint to my face and it looked so bad. The actual product itself was so amazing and it felt so nice and looked great too. The pump on the bottle I also loved. The only con was the color choices. It might work better on other skin colors but it did not look right on my skin. But if it matches your skin color then this product should work great for you :)

I was looking around for a new liquid foundation after my BM suddenly looking chalky.
I ended up being sat on a seat and having a full on Benefit makeover. I initially liked the foundation and ended up purchasing it.
However....
I then broke out in the worst cystic acne on my chin. ouch.
I can't blame this entirely on this product as having tried a few foundations and primers I think my skin disagrees with silicone stuff in them.
pros
looks dewy amd great to begin with
packaging pump good

cons
comes off after few hrs
comes off easy onto clothes
bit orange
broke me out
expensive for what it is

This product is an embarrassment. It oxidizes, doesn't stay put on your face, the shades are way too orangey, the finish is a "dewy" mess, caused me to break out and for all of that it was not cheap. Interestingly enough, this is the first foundation that I ever got "matched" to by a Sales Rep, who kept convincing me, that's it's not gonna be THAT orange in the natural light, and the more I use it the better my skin will become ( like it's a treatment) HAHAHA

Really love this foundation! The best out of all the foundations I tried. I have dry skin in the morning and by the evening I have oily skin. But this foundation hydrates without my skin becoming oily and gives a fresh look. I'm using the ivory one. Another plus is the lightness. It feels like I just washed my face and I have no makeup on. And most important I don't break out. I'm completely in love with this product! I defiantly recommend this foundation.

I always sample foundation before I buy it. So I headed to Sephora and picked up two of this foundations darkest shades and once again I had to mix the two to get the proper color. I don't like it. It oxidizes darker than the color in the bottle and for me it just feels too heavy on my skin.

Used 1 pump got a shocking orange tint and within a minute or two it calmed down and gave me a beautiful glowing radiant complexion. I probably could wear the next colour down Amber, however at the shop I purchased it from FACES they did not have the tester.

Am absolutely loving the look it gives me. I am using MAC Skin Finish deep dark on cheeks, forehead and chin so far the foundation is staying in place. However the country I work in gets very humid, at the moment the weather temp is around 28 degrees. I will need to test the foundation to see how it stands up in humidity with powder!

This product is HORRIBLE. Do not waste your money. I have naturally oily skin and this product does not help one bit. It stays on for a solid hour and by then its time to reapply. The shades are SO far off. I looked orange and fake when I wore this. It also broke me out really bad. I loved it in the store but when I tried it for a few days I was disgusted. I would not recommend this product to anyone. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

This is the only foundation I can use that doesn't fade or slide off my face within a couple of hours. I have oily skin so the luminous effect is not ideal but I find that using two layers of mattifying primer first plus powder to set and blotting every couple of hours really helps. I am light olive and Honey is my ideal summer shade.

This is THE WORST foundation I've EVER USED, put it on at 830 and by noon it is splotchy and not covering my face, I tried this 4 times and it was terrible I have small wrinkles on my cheeks and although it looked nice by not accentuating them at first, in just a few hours it looks like you hardly put makeup on at all. I was using benefits poreless under this so maybe that was part of the problem?? I don't know, I should of maybe tried it without that underneath, but its too late I returned this to U**a for a full refund, I debated if I should just keep it and use it till it was gone but the last day I tried wearing it I decided I wanted my money back , my husband works hard for his money and I'm not paying for GARBAGE!

Ugh...I bought the foundation to try it because I love the powder version and wanted to give the liquid foundation version a try. Well, I'm disappointed. The packaging is okay for me, I don't mind at all. But the product itself is...ugh...too yellow for me, and too thick. I don't like the oily effect, definitely not natural at all. I won't repurchase.

I got this foundation on How To Look Best At Everything, i pick the medium shade so i the foundation shade is I'm So Money Honey. I have combination skin, but when i move a lot it gets more oilier. Finishing is dewy makes me look healthy and vibrant, i kinda like it at first. But then i realise that whenever i wear this foundation i need to blot a couple of times, because if i don't blot it looked greasy and really awful.

I find that using good primer would really help to minimise the oil, though it won't help a lot because trust me this is a dewy foundation. If you don't like the oily/dewy look you won't like this, no matter how good your primer. I wear it with my trusty Smashbox primer and Porefessional, and it still looked dewy slightly oily. Anyway, one day i notice that the foundation looked really good on flash photograph. I was at a concert and a little sweaty and my friend took a picture of me and my husband with flash, when i saw the photo my face looked dewy and made me looked fresh.

Good thing is it doesn't oxidise on me though i'm sure i'm not in the right shade for my NC20 skin. Because Honey is a bit darker for my skin. This is a good foundation, though it looked healthy on me i won't repurchase because blotting every now and then seems not practical, i don't run around carrying blotting paper everywhere.

Blegh. Oxidized to a yucky orange and left my skin feeling slick and gross- impressive, since my skin is dry. Was patchy and seperating within hours, even with a primer and a setting powder. Hate the cheapo plastic packaging. A swing and a miss for Benefit on this one.

Went to Benefit counter in Macys and ask for a full coverage foundation and she said this one was the one she was using and her face looked flawless. So i said ok lets try it, she look for a beige, put it on my face and it was the right color, when se finished putting it she put the powder and it looked even better. I told her I was going home and ask my husband how I look and thank God i did, he said I look so shiny and oily. And i tried by putting my phone on the cheek and all the product was on the screen. Guess what? Next day My whole forehead was full of pimples. Not buying it.

Bought this at a Benefit store in New York because I was in need of a lightweight foundation. A sales associate applied it and I thought it looked good so I bought it on a whim--big mistake! An hour after leaving the store I looked in the mirror and it seemed to be turning orange, as well as melting off my t-zone but getting all chalky and emphasizing other, drier patches of my face. My skin is very fair with pink undertones and it just does not suit the colouring of this foundation. Also, I have combination skin but it's not too dry, and am younger and don't have many fine lines yet. This product brought out the worst in my skin, accentuating oiliness, dryness, and fine lines.

I've tried it with different products underneath and on top, different ways of applying it, and at different points over the last few months but I'm dissapointed every time! All in all, a waste of my money and a lesson learned not to buy things right off the bat! The one good thing I can say about it is the packaging is good and very sanitary, and it does have spf which is a must!!

REGRET.

Hello Orange!!! That's totally what I felt when I applied this foundation, and after it set, I was even more orange! I've tried foundations that were much less expensive that did a better job. And for the amount of color applied, I found that the coverage was medium after being built up at best. I love the dewy look; however, this also left me feeling and looking very oily. I love Benefit products and wanted to love this, but it was promptly returned after my expierence. :(
