I have finally found a very good match to my skin. I wear 109 in this one, pure beige in Estee Lauder Double Wear, 2 in double wear light, 110 in Clarins Everlasting. Medium coverage, nice texture. Go get a sample :-)

MMM it smells very fresh! I love it. It makes my skin pefect all day. I have com. skin and a oily t-zone and dry patches all around my face. I don't se a problem with my dry areas. It isn't super matte and gives your skin a nice dewey finish. unfortunately here in DK we only have 6 shades com. too other contries, they have 11 :( I use nr. 108 sand- but after reading on the net, 104 would be better for NC25 skin.

I was not expecting to fall in love with this Clarins foundation. I had never used many Clarins products before, but had received samples from time to time and really liked everything I tried . I picked up the ever matte foundation in honey beige, in a pinch when I ran out of my Laura Mercier Tinted Foundation. That being said, I really really love this Clarins foundation. It has wonderful coverage but I do not feel like it is too heavy. I apply a small pinky-nail sized dab onto my face and use my fingers to spread evenly on my face and it looks natural and great! I have combination skin, with occasional dry spots between my eyebrows and sometimes on my cheeks, but I find that this foundation does not accentuate the dryness, as long as I apply moisturizer before hand! The matte finish is also really great because I don't feel like I need to set the foundation with loose powder...unless I want to avoid mid afternoon shine! I don't usually need to, but I set with a loose powder if I know I have a long day ahead of me (8+hours).
I am not particularly loyal to my makeup or skincare products, but I really liked the quality of this foundation and will probably repurchase when I'm done! The color matches my skintone, has a natural finish, light/medium very buildable coverage, light texture, matte finish, and long-wearing! I will note that the foundation IS a bit pricey, as I spent almost $50CND on it, but I think it's worth it for how long it'll last...AND I hate buying lots of cheap foundations/ or foundations that dont' match my skincolor...and having to throw it out! So I see it as a savings in the long run...haha

I just bought this after using Nars Sheer Matte for the last 2 years. Ever Matte has extraordinary shine control but doesn't have that extreme matte finish that some oil-control foundations leave you with. Ever Matte is sheer and buildable and I think best applied with your fingertips.
It's odd, but the color looks really different blended in to your face than it does in the tube or on your hand. This is one you have to actually wear in order to get a good color match. Also, the color is exceptionally stable. I wear it for about 10 hours at a time and the color does not oxidize and oil does not break through. Really a great product.

Good foundation with really nice smell. I found the best match in sand. No other foundation has made a better shade match to my face.
The coverage is light tot medium and buildable.
But with my rosacea I need definately to use a concealer first, because it doesn't cover all the spots.
There is an spf in it, which is great. After eight hours I need to do some touch ups, especially around my chin.
Staying power is good. But when it comes to coverage and lasting power, cliniques stay matte is number one. I don' t need any touch ups for 10 hours.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Oily, Fair-Medium Hair: Brunette Eyes: Black
This foundation actually made my skin oilier than usual possibly because of the alcohol content, I have to use blotting sheets or powder 3-4 times a day. The staying power is average and it looks like it oxidizes because it's yellow by the end of the day and it doesn't add any luminosity to the skin. This is such a poor quality product even though at first glance the ingredients seem ok. I am truly disappointed.

I got samples to try of colours 108 Sand and 109 Wheat - both were pretty good, but I preferred 108 Sand which makes sense since that's the best colour match for me in Clarins' Skin Illusions foundation.
When applied it felt a little tacky but spread evenly and gave medium coverage. The scent is nice and fresh and didn't linger (which is good). The staying power is fairly average but the last two days have been very humid and hot, so perhaps a little better than average would be fair.
It does show up dry spots, my skin still got oily but I guess the hot days made it worse. I used a primer today but not yesterday to compare, and using it with a primer does make the staying power better.
I'm not sure if I will purchase this foundation as it doesn't meet all my needs but it isn't bad. Still trying to find my perfect foundation.

I am actually on the fence on repurchasing and even keeping it. I have been using it for about 3 weeks and have to say it is an amazing foundation. It gives off a semi-matte finish, not completely matte. I have super oily skin so I need a super matte finish because my natural oils will make the super matte finish into a semi-mate to a dewey finish. This foundation smells amazing and looks amazing initially but after a few hours or so, it wears off. It is not a long wearing foundation and my face becomes pretty oily even after a few hours. This is a great foundation for short days, going on quick errands, and just looking natural with makeup....
Initially beautiful with semi-matte finish
Lovely cucumber smell
Oil-free and great for sensitive/acne prone skin
Very natural, like youre not wearing makeup
Great for everyday wear
Not long lasting (get oily/wears off within 3 hours)
Color range is lacking
Not a true matte finish

I unfortunately bought this product in the wrong shade and don't know how it really works, but from what I've tried and what I know is that it keeps you matte throughout the day, smells amazing(!) and does not break you out. This reminded me of their other foundation: Truly Matte Foundation, except this one has a much more thick consistence. It's good..
Age: 36-43 Skin: Combination, Olive, Warm Hair: Brown, Curly, Medium Eyes: Brown
This is by far the best liquid foundation I have used. It's lightweight, gives light to medium coverage, and smells good. The staying power is decent. I have combination skin and my t-zone gets extremely oily when I wear anything at all. I can wear this without having to do something about the shine for about 4-5 hours in the winter, which is very good for me.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium Hair: Brown Eyes: Hazel
This foundation can control oil on my Tzone for 4-5 hours, which I really appreciate. It blends well and not a doubt the finish is amazing! The cucumber smell is also a breakthrough - I haven't seen any foundation that smells that lovely!
Age: 56 & Over Skin: Acne-prone, Fair-Medium, Warm Hair: Brown, Fine Eyes: Brown
I like this foundation very much. It gives a smooth, satiny matte finish that does NOT oxidize and lasts well on my very oily skin. I am NC20-25 and use Cream 104. Match is perfect. Highly recommend. Athough you get only 1 oz for the price, I find it worth it as a good foundation for oily skin like mine is hard to find. It has a lite, pleasant cucumber scent that quickly fades. Will repurchase!

I have been using it for a few weeks now, and have not had any issues with it. I usually never wear foundation, as I am scared it would break me out even more. But I have suffered a lot from acne this last few months due to hormonal imbalance; so I decided I should cover the scars up with a foundation. I tried Estée Lauder Double Wear Light & Dior one; which both broke me out; so I was very scared of trying this. But it does not break me out; keeps away my oil for a good 5 hours without powder and for a whole day with powder. I love the finish of it; its mat and not cakey whatsoever. It is not full coverage, you can see some of my heavier scars through it, but I actually like the natural look that gives it. The color range isn't too great, but luckily I found a color (108 - Sand) that fits me quite nicely. The packaging is also very nice; just have to squeeze it out of an elegant tube :)
I would def recommend this for acne prone, oily skin. Will repurchase if I run out!
Age: 19-24 Skin: Combination, Fair Hair: Blond Eyes: Green
I really love this foundation! It's perfect, it doesn't break me out at all and stays matte almost all day if you set it with powder. I also love the scent and how it feels on the skin. I will buy again.
Age: 25-29 Skin: Acne-prone Hair: Other Eyes: Other
At first I loved this foundation, its got this amazing smell that makes you feel fresh, stays matt all day, doesn't get on your clothes, coverage is perfect. But by the end of 1,5 months,I started breaking-out. I had acne problems when I was a teenager, now its back again. Thanks to this product I start a 6 month acne treatment with roaccutane.I'd recommend it for oily-skin not people with an acne-prone skin.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Sensitive, Fair, Warm Hair: Brunette, Straight, Fine Eyes: Green
I fancied a change from my usual Clinique and i'm so pleased i did. This creamy foundation glides on a dream with fingertips, covers well, its buildable and keeps my oily skin matt. I powdered once during the day, more out of habit than the need to, and into the evening my skin still looks flawless and matt. I will be using this daily, so marked it down on price, as Clarins could be a little more generous with their bottle size. Will be buying again.

Great product.i love it!
Age: 19-24 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium, Neutral Hair: Brunette Eyes: Blue
This is my all time favorite foundation. Medium coverage, lasts through the day, keeps my combination skin in control and comes with a lovely melon scent. + SPF 15! The price is quite affordable @ €32. I have to say the shades are a bit weird I'm NC25 and 111 Toffee is a perfect match for my skin. Feels like you're wearing no make up. I wear YSL Matt Touch primer under this foundation and I find the two work great together. I will definitely repurchase it.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Combination, Medium, Neutral Hair: Brown, Straight, Medium Eyes: Blue
Gorgeos foundation for a natural look that lets your skin show through! I wouldn't say the finish is completely matte, it's more of a natural finish, I absolutely love that. The smell is also very nice and fresh, reminds me of cucumbers. I just wish this came in a bottle with a pump, the tube just squeeses out too much product.
Age: 30-35 Skin: Oily, Fair-Medium, Cool Hair: Blond, Straight Eyes: Green
I was looking for a second foundation so I don't have to wear MAC's Pro Longwear too often, something lighter and less straining for the skin.. I thought I'd give this a go.
And I really like this foundation!
Not so much because it keeps my face matt for longer than other products do, which in fact it doesn't -- but I don't have very high hopes for that matter anyway, because I already know that my OILY skin is a real challenge even for the fancyest mattifying products out there -- having said that, I think that everything else about this foundation is great!
The delicious smell (reminds me of fresh cucumber slices), the beautiful, smooth and natural finish, its creamy texture which makes it very easy to blend, it gives a decent amount of coverage but not too much, and I even found a shade that matches my skin tone perfectly (110 Honey). This shade is rather neutral, not too pink and not too yellow.
It does last quite a few hours if powdered properly (not the whole day, but for this purpose I use the Pro Longwear anyway), so I always reach for this if I'm just going out for a few hours - as simple as that!
And it's quite inexpensive I think!
But as I said before, if you have very oily skin like me it won't stay matt for long, so blotting a few times throughout the wearing time will be inevitable.
Oh and another little minus: you can't see how much product is left in the package.. but I think I can handle this ;-)
For me the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages and I will definitely repurchase it.
