Great powder. It does what it says on the mattifying part, even though I felt that annoying floury feeling while I applied it. Not a biggie though, since it's very mattifying and ridiculously cheap. Gotta love Essence. Smells good too.I personally faced trouble choosing a shade since I have really fair skin and nothing suited me well, so I ended up mixing two shades to have a perfect result. Coverage is light to inexistent imo,but still looks good over a liquid foundation. You should probably buy it if you're looking for something good and not too pricey.

this is a great product! I found it while I was looking for a powder with no parabens. I decided to try because of the ingredients and the price - 3,5 Euros. It was a good surprise: This is a good finishing powder, very natural and light.
I bought 04-perfect beige, a good match for my light skin (rc-buff, mufe 117, mac-lighter and less yellow than nc20). I´m not sure this color would fit girls with strong yellow undertones but it works for me because I have mixed undt. I just wish there were more colors (only 4 available here) so everyone could try it.

My skin is ridiculously oily. I use milk of magnesia as a primer, Revlon Colorstay, and corn starch as a setting powder. All this lasts about two hours, to give you a hint of how bad it is. Anyway, I bought this powder because it was oil-free and cheap, and I'm quite impressed. It's much easier to bring places than my corn starch (that just looks weird!), although I wish it had an applicator. It keeps me matte for about as long as corn starch does.

I like this product! it does its intended purpose as it promises, but the only problem with it, is that it is shimmery. so that kinda defeats the matte part... but it def makes u look not shiny or oily, so the shimmer like does not show up on my skin. it goes on transleucent so there is only 1 color choice, which takes the guess work out of buying this product!! thank goodness! it is cheap so its great for a girl on a budget, and essence products are cutely packaged, and they have a great reputation, I personally love tons of their products!!!

This is a surprisingly good product! I've been on a kick with essence products because they are so cheap, and this is worth the price. I mean Its not as amazing as covergirls pressed powders, but its great for on the go... etc.
I would buy it again, without a doubt

After reading all of the rave reviews, I went on a hunt for this powder and finally found a Shoppers Drug Mart that carried this line. While I am very impressed by the quality of Essence products, this powder made me break out. I would not recommend this if you have sensitive skin. I used this only for a few days and I broke out like I have never broken out all year. I had cystic acne all over my forehead, which took weeks and a chemical peel later, to go away.
Like others have said, this has tons of fall out and the packaging needs to include a mirror for touch ups. This does a good job of mattifying and it can be layered for sheer to heavier coverage. I have stopped using this and am now using Clinique Almost Powder, which my skin does not react to.

I purchased this powder at Shoppers Drug Mart for $3.49 in the shade 'Translucent 07.' This powder has actually quite impressed me as it's decently milled, applies and blends well into the skin to set my foundation, and does a decent job keeping my oily t-zone shine free for a length of time. This translucent shade isn't so translucent and has a whitish ivory colour to it, but works perfectly for my MAC NC 15 complexion.

This is a really good buy. This powder is very light on the skin and gives a matte finish without the cakey appearance. It can be applied in layers without looking or feeling heavy. The only downsides are that this does not come with its own applicator and is only available in a shade or two, so those with darker complexions can probably not use this.

I adore this stuff! It is the only mattifying powder that'll actually keep my nose from looking oily. I gave up on mattifying products a long time ago, but this was cheap and I went ahead and bought it. I'm certainly glad I did. I only wear this on my nose. I tried this on my chin, but it looked too chalky and matte. I apply this with a powder puff and it seriously does last like crazy! A warning though, with the packaging, you get what you paid for. I dropped this only a few centimeters, it didn't break but the powder sort of broke a little. I'm still going to repurchase, I just have to remember to try not to drop it. Essence is awesome.

Absolutely adored this product! The price was the first thing I noticed - at approximately €2, you can't complain! The packaging is extremely sturdy and durable, which is excellent but it could do with being a little more aesthetically pleasing, as it is plain transparent plastic (although this could barely be considered a negative!). The product itself is a smooth pressed powder which does everything it says on the tin! It covers any shine perfectly, I found it particularly helpful on the T-Zone and to use as a top-up during the day. It also sets your foundation to a certain extent. It is completely odourless, which is excellent as heavily persumed products can cause products. Overall, an excellent product which I would definitely repurchase!

I have it in Translucent and it works great. The package itself is messy, after some uses you get powder everywhere. And it lacks a mirror, wich i found necessary fot out-of-home touch ups. When aplied with a light hand and the right brush, this powder keeps my skin matt and near perfect. It lasts me the whole day even in hot summer. It really does everything that it's supposed to and i love it. Plus i got it for like 2 or 3 euro, wich is fantastic! Will repurchase for sure.

It doesn't blend into the skin the best but with a light hand and a buffing brush it can look decent. This is powdery product after use there is a dusting everywhere. I like this better than the revlon photo ready powder so this is certainly worth a try..

This is a great mattifying powder! It mattifies nicely without caking. It's also completely sheer, so don't expect it to offer any sort of coverage. The packaging isn't great - no mirror, no applicator and it isn't water-tight (so don't drop it in the toilet like I did!) but for the price, who can complain? Would I repurchase? I already did. Twice!

Not the best powder in the world, but what can you complain about when it costs 2€? Not even in Chinese drugstores, known worldwide for selling the worst cosmetics, can you find something as cheap as this.
I did not intend to buy it when I went to the drugstore - I was only looking for the eye shadows from this brand - but turns out there was the best promotion ever: two items for the price of one, and the more pricey products costed just 3.5€. As I wanted to buy three eye shadows and they would be (even) more affordable if I picked a fourth item, this was my choice.
I have it in the 01 shade, Natural Beige, a very neutral color which I believe would suit any Caucasian skin tone (mine is pale with a hint of golden in Winter time). Blends really well with my foundation, but I must put extra energy in the brush strokes to release it from the box. Also, I must put a considerable amount of powder (normally I repeat the application in the afternoon) to let it absorb completely my skin's oily glow - I can't blame the product for this, that's just how my complexion is. Anyway, I can spend it guiltlessly, as it was so cheap - a real deal in recession times.
