I did not like this product. When i first applied it, I thought it was fine. It has a nice applicator and the results looked fine. But the problem is that this stuff doesn't seem to dry and smears everywhere. I wore this about half a day and it looked awful. Smearing and creasing everywhere, I have not experienced anything like that before. I ended up throwing it in the trash after one use. It is a shame because if it dried down nicely and didn't smear it would be a nice product.

I have purchased this a few times now. I use this as my daily eyeliner on the upper lid only. It is pretty easy to apply, it gets easier as you use it (less product is dispensed and it looks more natural). I like that it is easy to wash it off versus a pencil that has more of that waxy texture. I am not sure that it really makes my eyelashes grow any more than usual, at least not that I noticed, but I did not really expect that claim was legitimate. It is pretty easy to get a thin-ish line, although I guess if you were going for a super natural look this wouldn't be the best pick. I like this one better than the thinner version as I think it actually looks more natural for some reason.

I bought this on sale at CVS for about $6. I loved the idea of making the eyelashes look thicker and the packaging was attractive. I have very thin lashes and was looking forward to this working as I love Physicians formula in general. This was a HUGE disappointment. Even after trying to keep it upside down, to get the liquid to come to tip, it would not apply right. It would look like a very light grey, even though it was black. The tip made the line look way too thick. I tried several times And gave up.
I would not buy this again. If you have purchased from CvS or Walgreens, return it if it doesn't work. They will refund your money.

I like this felt tip eyeliner. It is a little difficult to apply at first, but once you get the hang of it, its really nice. I store it vertically with the pen side down so I get the beautiful opaque black color. I might repurchase, but I am partial to the original version.

I have repurchased this multiple times. I take makeup claims with a giant grain of salt. I don't really take any claims seriously until I've tried it out. This was on the sale, and well, I needed a new eyeliner. My mac blacktrack just dried out on me, and I was delaying buying a new pencil eyeliner, and I thought it was about time I tried out the marker trend.
Definitely easy to put on. I put on my eye makeup (eyeliner, shadow, mascara) on the train. I could do this super easily. I tightline, and then I line the top of the lashes, and then I wing it out at the end. I can do this one handed...on a moving train. If you can't do it sitting at home, practice. This makes it super easy. You can use the tip of the marker to make a perfect wing by pressing it sideways and drawing into the inside of your eye. I really love how this works, and the best thing is, after a few weeks, I think my lashes are actually longer and thicker. I have asian lashes, this is pretty amazing. My lashes have always been pretty plentiful, but this really made them longer, and filled in some of the empty spots I had along my lashline.

I will repurchase this forever, but will probably try out the regular pen type from PF as well, and decide which one works better. I will say that this will smudge onto my upper eyelid because I'm asian...but that's really what happens with every eyeliner I try, so that's not really a killing point for me. I suggest you try it, and if you hate it, well, make sure you buy it from CVS/Walgreens so you can return if you can't work it.

I'm ready to throw this away. I bought this because I have a few areas where my lashes are sparse because I accidentally cut them and this eyeliner did the job in making my lashes full again. Other than that this eyeliner sucks! It's not smudge nor waterproof like it claims. It basically never dries. I'm only ready to throw it away now because it's already finished its job of making my lashes full again.

This product is H.O.R.R.I.B.L.E. I used it once, it smudge all over my upper lids and lower lash line creating a terrible mess, I had to remove all and re-apply with another eyeliner. I don't even mind the packaging or the price, but the formula is really beyond hope.
No doubt, the colour is dark..tip is nice, sharp and thick (how i like it) but it smudges everywhere! Seriously, keep your money and buy the other one - Physicians Formula Eye booster eyeliner + serum (the silver packaging one)

God, I freaking hate this eyeliner. I absolutely loved the skinny version of this. But, this is just terrible. The application is actually quite easy because of the firm felt tip, but all the product melts off your eyes. By the end of the day, you'll be rocking raccoon eyes. What a waste of 11 bucks.

I tried this hoping that this would be even better than the eye booster eyeliner (the skinny pen in silver packaging which is near HG for me).

Sadly this did disappoint me because the felt tip is extremely thick and it makes it extremely hard to draw clean lines. I been using this for a month and I am experienced with using eyeliner. The formula of this eyeliner is good because you can layer it to make it appear darker without having the eyeliner clump up. It builds beautifully. With one layer, it's a deep grey and with another layer, it's black, and third layer makes it a very deep black. The product is easy to remove, all you need is water. This is not waterproof so dont wear it to the pool or when it's raining. It came off when I worn it out when I was caught in the rain and it came off and when I went back home, I saw black streaks under my eyes. I know for sure it was this eyeliner because that was the only make up I had on my eyes that day. It's a mess, the other pf eye booster is not like that and is waterproof. This does not smudge though, I did not notice lash growth as this is advertised as a lash booster. The price point is not bad. I brought it for about 7 dollars with coupons. It retails for about $12 at CVS.

This is the perfect product for me - I have skimpy light lashes and totally suck at liquid liner. This is easy to apply once you get the hang of it, and although some have complained it isn't dark/dramatic enough the amount is perfect for me since I typically just use gel pencil. You can definitely get more drama with two coats.

Best of all, it works! My lashes are already happier and it's only been a week or so. I have used latisse in the past and it made my eyelids dark purple, not the best look when you have fair skin!

Giving it 4/5 only because it isn't super with humidity and smudges after a while (read: hot mess the morning after) but the tradeoff is excellent.

I love the idea of this, but it was a massive fail for me. I have oily lids, and this was a hot mess from the get-go. I tried it on the back of my hand at first, to get the feel of the pen, and after ten minutes of sitting on my skin drying, it still smeared, but I put it on my eyes anyway. Lordy! After five minutes I looked like I had been crying all day. Just an oily disgusting black mess. Obviously I can't say if the serum made my lashes thicker because I just can't put this on again. Smells funky, too. It's going back to CVS.

Wow..this item really works. Okay, not as quickly or as good at the more expensive products out there...but you do get what you pay for.

Color: It goes on a bit more sheer than black black but it does state on the directions to let dry and apply a 2nd coat. Then it comes out a black black (wow, directions, who would have thought?).

Applicator: Considering you'll need to apply a 2nd coat, I don't think this is the most ideal for the fancy eyeliner application that some seek. I sometimes will use another eyeliner for more of a 'winged' application but use this one as a base since I'm seeing a difference.

Lash Booster: Yeah, this really does work. It took about a month and perhaps it's not dramatic as the Jan Marini or Lattisse ones I've used, but I do see a difference. Granted, it's 1/10th the cost of the others as well.

I'll be purchasing again, at least for the Lash Boosting effects and as a base for other eyeliners that I prefer.

I thought this would make doing wings, cat eyes, whatever, much easier, but no, it's still hard for me. This is probably more my fault as I'm still trying to master this look, but this eyeliner is not the magic bullet either. A few things that bug me: It's not dark enough - goes on with transparency almost like a wash instead of an opaque ink. The edges bled/feathered on my skin, maybe my skin was too moist tho??? Will apply primer on next attempt. And it didn't dry fast enough - I blinked after applying and it smudged in the corner. I will say that once it dries it does stay put ALL day which is amazing. As for the lash boosting serum, it's probably just marketing hype. I seriously doubt that I will see any improvement there, but it's too soon to report.
Update: tried it with eyelid primer and it stayed put much better while inside, but then I was outside in the heat for a happy hour, got a bit sweaty and it started to smudge and transfer to my upper lid & crease. Ugh.

I have been using this eyeliner for a month or so now. I started noticing my eyelashes seemed fuller, I had forgotten that this had serum in it. For me the felt tip application is easier to apply than other liquid liners. It kind of reminds me of a marker. The color was somewhat lighter than I like but the pen says to store it upside down for 10-15 minutes for darker color, I did this and it went on perfect. I don't know of this product is actually what has made my lashes fuller but it is the only product I am using that even claims to make lashes grow. I will definatley repurchase.

There are many flaws with this eyeliner. It's lacking pigmentation so that you have to go over the same area more than once to get it dark enough. The jumbo tip is too big to easily create wings. The formula smudges underneath my eyes as the day progresses. The whole reason I even wear liquid eyeliner (as opposed to pencil or gel) is because it doesn't usually smudge! The only thing I like about this eyeliner is that the stiff felt tip makes it easy to tightline.

I got this on sale from CVS for $4...& yet I'd still prefer to return it. The black ink isn't dark enough, it's difficult to navigate around my thick lashes, & it smudged within an hour here in the hot, humid, state of TX. I would not repurchase.

I bought this on a whim during a mega CVS sale and have used it every day since. The liner tip makes drawing a near perfect cat eye effortless...something I could not as easily achieve with gel and a brush. Plus, my eyelashes have gotten noticeably longer, which is completely unexpected (I'm a huge product skeptic).

UPDATE: I'm a dummy...the product I own is not the felt tip version, but the liquid one in the skinny silver tube. Buy that one!

This is a great liquid eyeliner. Somehow the pen format actually does exactly what it should do - delivers the perfect amount of even liquid eyeliner every time. I don't really know if it boosts lash growth as I only use it once every week or so, but it's a fantastic liquid liner and a good price. I have this in brown and am planning to purchase it in black as well. Very versatile, great product.

I love how easy this liner is to use. I can easily draw a nice line along my lashes & either leave it a nice thick black line or smudge it with a liner brush to make it look softer. I bought the Ultra Black & was afraid that it would be too harsh on me for every day wear, but I love it. I've only been using it for a week, so I don't know about the Lash Boosting Serum claims, but it's a wonderful eyeliner. It stays on all day without smudging or smearing, but it is not even water resistant. Any tearing of the eyes or splashes of water will remove it. I love it so much that I bought the Dark Brown & the Smokey Grey, but when tested on my hand the brown & grey are so dark that I don't see much difference from my Ultra Black. Brown may look a touch warmer in tone.
I've been using this for about a month, now. I don't use it everyday, but very frequently & my lashes are looking fuller & healthier!

My local drugstore didn't have the smaller version, so I picked this one up to try. First off, the formula isn't too pigmented, so you do have to go over the line a couple of times to get a nice black. I still had to apply some black shadow on top to mask bits where skin showed through.

The tip is nice and fine, but the giant nub makes it hard to use the pen in any position other than straight up and down, since the shaft can leave smudges. The liner stays really well though, especially since I have super oily, hooded lids with a tiny crease right where I put liner. I got caught in the rain today as well, and it didn't run or anything.

I won't buy it again just because it takes too long to get a solid line (draw, wait, dry, draw again) and the nub is too annoying to use.
