The only eyeliner I will ever purchase again! So they better not stop making it, haha. I love this eyeliner, it goes on so smooth and stays where you put it! It doesn't move... ever! Unless you wash your face that is... but we all do that (or we should)... it definelty is BLACK and stays black. A+ all around.

I'm a little surprised that I like this liner as much as I do-- I originally purchased it for Halloween makeup and just continued to wear it. The two main reasons are its texture and wear. The formula is quite creamy for a gel liner, making it easy to brush on with minimal skipping and it only takes about a minute to dry completely. Yes, it could be a little darker when I observe the swatch on my arm, but it appears to be a true, deep black from any distance once applied. Its wearability renders it unchanged from the time I apply it at 8 am to when I wash my face at 11 pm. It takes more than water to remove this stuff, so I use Pond's Cold Cream. However, even with the cold cream it is a huge pain to remove from in between lashes the one time I used it to tightline, and I shouldn't be scubbing my eyes that much daily. If I rub my finger back and forth over it repeatedly, my finger will have a grey tint, but that's about the extent of smudging.
99% of the time I immediately pitch any applicators that are packaged with a makeup product because I think they're useless, but I kept the brush with this one. The bristles have a lot of slip, which is fine for a product this creamy. The head is small and paddle-shaped that lets me graduate a thick line to a thin one in one swipe. I've found that gel liner packaging has been a nice, glass pot across the board and Maybelline is not an exception.

I loved how easy this eyeliner applies and how it doesn't dry out too quick. It also has a nice creamy texture and it stays put on my waterline without irritating my eyes. The only con about it is that you have to pile on another layer to get that desired jet black effect. The brush is cheap and too harsh to use on your delicate eye areas. I'd rather spend $3 more and use L'Oreal's gel eyeliners. You get way more pigmentation for your money.

This stuff is AMAZING! Very smooth application, doesn't get hard or flaky like some gel liners can get. This stuff wil not come off without makeup remover. I warm it on the back of my hand before I apply it, and it will NOT come off with just soap and water. I sometimes use this for small face paints or face paint details, and have worn it on my cheeks for some 5 hours, and even when my face got oily, this did not come off. You could definitely smear it if your face got oily, but if untouched, won't move. My favorite liner of all time!!! It's a must for me, so I have to recommend it.

I am a huge fan of gel liners. My signature look is winged liner and so gel/liquid liner is the best way to get an even line. This liner definitely allows me to draw an even line and it is, as the name says, the blackest black. This liner for me is very close to my beloved Tarte gel liner which is 4 times the price. It does smudge around my waterline and slightly beneath my eyes after a few hours, but I haven't found a gel liner that does not. Overall I would recommend because the quality is great for the price. I will be buying again!

To be honest, this isn't as good as MAC Black Track. I was really excited based on the reviews, especially as both my MAC and Bobbi Brown gel eyeliner were dry beyond saving. First of all, the price was ok (I got it during a drugstore.com sale). The brush it comes with is quite small, which is great for making thin lines, but I typically like to do a cat eye, and found that this was harder to control. Most importantly, the liner was not as black as MAC. I have to go over my lines to get them dark, but even that is difficult because the brush just takes more off. This also smudged throughout the day.

I was really excited when I first used this eyeliner, it's really creamy, has great pigmentation and comes with a brush that is actually perfect for doing eyeliner. Unfortunately it fades throughout the day and smudges, kind of gives me panda eyes which is disappointing. I've found it lasts a bit longer if you set it with a black eyeshadow, but honestly it's kind of annoying to have to do that. I still use this when I'm not going out for too long because it is so easy to use and hasn't dried out at all, but it's not great for day-long wear.

This. This eyeliner is my holy grail. I LOVE IT. It's creamy so it glides on like a dream! It even comes with a handy little brush to help you out! It stays in tact for HOURS and doesn't smudge even when my clumsy self gets something in her eye and I'm struggling to get it out.
When I first bought it I was really skeptical cause everything else I've had would run down my face within the hour I put it on for no reason at all except bad quality. So I decided to conduct a little test. I applied my makeup when I left that morning, when I got home in the evening, it still looked like i just applied it. So I went to bed with it on. I know it's bad, blah blah blah, but I have pretty good skin so I wasn't worried. I got up that next morning and the eyeliner still looked like a just applied it! I was seriously amazed! Of course my mascara was smudged but my cat eyeliner wasn't! And I usually always sleep face down on my pillow(don't judge me).
And it comes off like a dream too! I don't even have to use makeup remover, just my face soap.
So with that said, I REALLY recommend this product to anyone that needs a good eyeliner.

Love this eyeliner! Stays on all day, really black, amazing! Use the right brush and it's fool-proof! I'm totally chucking my MAC blacktrack liner (which dried out long ago and is not as dark as I like) and using this instead. It's way cheaper and works so much better!

For years I have pretty much skipped eyeliner all together because they either smeared, melted off, ran out way too fast and were very difficult to use even though I am pretty decent at eye makeup. This eyeliner is amazing! The brush is really easy to use you do not need a lot and it always seems to effortlessly make a perfect line. It never smears and always is still in place by the end of the day and hasn't seemed to dry out or run out in the last 3 months. I will use this for life because I no longer spend hours re doing my eyes over and over because the liner is hard to apply. You also can't beat a drugstore price!
