All I can say is Wow!!! What am amazing thing this is!!!! I bought a couple of cheapo knock-off's before this and they were just 'ok'. Thankfully QVC had this baby on like 5 easy pays, so I had to get it.
The new Mia2 comes in gorgeous colors....I wanted the pink blossoms but it was sold out, so I got the pretty blue/green blossoms...Love it!! Very chic!
I wasn't sure if the 'sonic' cleaning was any better than the drugstore knock-offs, but it *really* is a world better!!!! The Mia2 is entirely automatic, so you press the button and it gives you 20 secs to do your forehead, then it beeps and tells you to move to your nose/chin, then beeps when it's time to do one side of your face, then the other...then it shuts itself off. Kool, right?lol
You only need to charge this thing like once every 3 months with daily use. Plus the charger is totes kool...it just magnetically sticks to the front of the handle--no plugging it in or anything! Soo kool!!haha
The only nitpick I have is why no stand? I think you can buy them separately online but seriously, couldn't they have thrown one in?! That's kinda cheaping out if you ask me...
On the plus though, it did come with pretty good sized samples of Peter Thomas Roth cleansing gel and his funky moisturizer/primer thingy, so I guess it's ok there's no stand (although I would have preferred a stand over the PTR stuff lol)
Anyway, seriously amazing product and it cleans my skin like nobody's business! My pores are looking better, my skin is glowing now...
This is definitely a beauty must-have if you can get a good deal (Check out QVC!!)

I have hormonal acne and when my acne goes away I am left with hyperpigmentation. I has tried everything and am currently and a skin line regimen called PCA. I am very pleased with it but decided to cave in and try the Mia 2. My first time trying it my skin felt a lot cleaner and overall fresh. I've been using it for about a week now and can already see a difference. I assume I am currently In the purging stage. If I look beyond that I am seeing brighter skin and overall I am happy.

I'm so glad that I finally caved in and bought the Mia 2 from Sephora during the 15% sale. Mine is the version with red and pink roses on it...I bought it with bundled with a set of Boscia products so it was really value for money. The main differences between Mia and Mia 2 is the T-timer that switches off after 1 minute and 2 speeds - low and normal. I only use the Mia 2 once a day, after I take off my make up. In the morning, I wash my face without it. I wouldn't use it more than once a day because it feels too exfoliating and I don't want to damage my skin by over-exfoliating it. Also, I only use the low speed because the normal speed sort of hurts my skin, which is not particularly sensitive.

I did not have the dreaded breakout that some people are purported to have. I must admit that for the first few days, I was quite nervous about having breakouts and kept checking my face in the mirror :-P The only side-effect I experienced for the first week was the sides of my nose turning red. It was easily covered with makeup and subsided after the first week.

While I haven't encountered any life-changing experience with my Mia 2 - I have no major skin issues at the moment - I must say that it does remove residual make up well. There is no foundation on my cotton pad after toning my face at night. Also products seem to absorb into my skin slightly faster and an old brown acne scar on my chin has faded quite significantly. What I haven't noticed is the size of my pores shrinking or reduction of oily areas. But then I've only been using this for 3 weeks so I'll give it more time.

PS: Although this is pricy, the best time to buy Mia 2 is from US sites during their sale period. The charger can be plugged into outlets up to 240V so it is suitable for international use. Just buy a plug adapter (costs a few bucks) and it will work perfectly fine.

Before I start, I just wanted you to know what this review was about. I wrote a review a while back on the differences between the spinbrush pro (and the different models) as well as the oil of olay version of the spinbrush. In this review I am comparing and contrasting them (this was before I bought one) to figure out which one would work best for me... I hope by reading this, you will have a better understanding of your options before purchasing a spinbrush...

I was very skeptical of this brush to begin with…. but I finally pulled the trigger after much consultation from my dermatologist. For any of those wondering, my dermatologist herself told me 1) this brush will make a huge difference regarding the health of my skin 2) that the Oil of Olay Spinbrush is just as good as the Clarisonic. That was her honest professional medical answer... So now I will give you my opinion on each of the two models.

The brush head: the brush heads differ on a few levels and I honestly feel that the The Clarisonic brush is superior. The Clarisonic brush head is much larger, even when comparing the smallest size Clarisonic MIA model to the Oil of Olay Spinbrush. The Clarisonic also has the optionality of different removable heads, one of them specifically for sensitive skin. I use this one. The drugstore versions do not have this optionality. After trying both Clarisonic brush heads (the regular and sensitive), I prefer the sensitive. I also feel the bristles on the Clarisonic model are softer and higher quality.

Cleaning power: About equal, but different. The Clarisonic uses a sonic oscillation system while the Oil of Olay Spinbrush uses a nonsonic rotating brush. The Oil of Olay version doesn’t really vibrate like the Clarisonic but just sort of spins around in circles. When using the Clarisonic you simply move it in circular motions around your face as the brush vibrates. The Spinbrush doesn’t necessarily work in that fashion since its already spinning around. They do feel different in my opinion. Probably both get you to the same place but I prefer the Clarisonic. I also think its much more effortless than the cheaper Oil of Olay brush. One thing that blew me away was not only how well it worked on my face- but also the eczema and tiny red bumps on my arms, after a few scrubs- GONE!

Charging: Clarisonic charges either in a base (if you buy the larger models) or in a simple handle attachment if you buy the MIA (that’s what I have). The Oil of Olay is battery operated- and this SUCKS! I have to change the batteries every two to three times of use (depending on how long I use it, which often varies). Yes, I do have rechargeable batteries, but still can be rather frustrating changing them SO often. This is why there is such aclassic difference in price, though. You get more with the higher quality, you just have to be willing to spend more too.

Models: The Clarisonic comes in 5, yes 5, confusing models. What is the difference in all of them? Why do we need 5 models? They differ in speeds, size, battery life, attachments they come with, and warranty. They range from $119 to $225. There is the MIA (both the MIA 1 and MIA 2). This is the most compact and does not come with a charging cradle but a charging link. The classic comes with a charging cradle. And the Plus and Pro models have 3 speeds and are for the face and body. I think this is all mumbo jumbo and all you need is the MIA. You really dont need different speeds and you can use the regular brush head on your body as well. Unless you really want a standup cradle I would purchase the MIA for $119. The higher models also come with more Clarisonic skin care products. You don’t need to use their products. Use your own favorite products. The Oil of Olay only has one to chose from, with no models to choose from. It is very standard and really comes with NO bells and whistles.

Body functionality: The Oil of Olay Spinbrush is very tiny, almost too tiny for the body. I think you can use the MIA Clarisonic for body even though its not marketed that way. You can really tell the difference in price here because the Clarisonic is well built, and sturdy... but the Olay version doesnt fit in your hand as nice, and its not as well built as the other models.

Do I really need to spend $119 on a brush to wash my face? No. You don’t need to. But it will get your skin cleaner and you will likely see improvement- like I have after using for just a few days. The brush removes significantly more dirt, oil and makeup than manual cleansing. Both brushes will help to loosen impurities from your pores alot more effectively than your fingertips rubbing soap on your face. However, this does not eliminate the need to exfoliate on a regular basis. The simple fact is that results from either brush are going to be better than not using one at all. The Oil of Olay clearly provides more value at $30. Although I cannot say for sure, it doesn’t feel as though it will last for years and years like the Clarisonic does. The Spinbrush is a bit flimsier in your hands than the Clarisonic. I have had my MIA for about a year now and I love it. I would recommend it to every woman really. Especially those women who are obsessed with new facial products, those who keep their skin a top priority and also those who have needs and maintenance when it comes to keeping their skin glowing. If you have dry skin, if you suffer from serious acne or a few blemishes, if you have large pores- this brush will be a godsend. Like I stated earlier, I saw results within DAYS of using this. Keeping in mind, I was using the Nutregena Wave beforehand, which I thought was just the greatest thing... NOT. It doesnt stand a chance against my Clarisonic, not even close. Plus I got sick of spending money on those expensive pads that you needed to attach. I dont have that problem with this- I can use any product i want, and can change them anytime I want. Well worth every penny ladies! Honestly! <

I love my mia! I have to say I was hesitant about buying it, because of the price tag, but I finally broke down and bought one. I only use it once a day, using Cerave gentle non-foaming cleanser, I take off all my make-up and rinse my face first and I make sure not to apply any pressure, just glide it over my face like the sales-person instructed me. I've noticed a huge difference in my pore size. I've not had any acne pop-up, nor have I had any issues with my skin feeling tight, but I clean the brush with peroxide every time I use it, and like I said, I don't push hard. Overall, I love it! My face glows and my serum seem to absorb much faster

I can't see the point of this thing. I wanted one for years, and I finally bit the bullet and got one. I've noticed absolutely no difference in my skin, and actually I think it irritates my skin. The "sensitive" brush head it came with left my skin with a scratched-up feeling so I got the delicate one. I've had a couple of cystic acne bumps pop up which I haven't seen that kind of thing in over 15 years. Any good dermatologist will tell you there's no such thing as a "purging" phase where things get worse before they get better. I don't even have acne but this thing has given it to me. Aside from the fact, I can't imagine using this thing on acneic skin. It could do nothing but irritate. If I bought it from a legit store (I got a deal on amazon from a private seller) I would be returning this thing for sure.

I have very dry skin - patches all around my nose, upper lip area. I usually don't get acne but due to my recent lifestyle change (diet - high protein) I've been breaking out around my chin and middle of my forehead- they're not pimples, they're small little irritible itchy red dots. So I figured I should invest in a cleaning system. I've never washed my face before I purchased the Clarisonic. Every time I tried to wash my face prior to Clarisonic, my face would break out from being too dry. I use a very heavy moisturizer for night and day as well.

I've been using this for about two weeks in conjunction with my Apple Cider Vinegar 1:1 toner - I wash my face with the Clarisonic and then use toner, wait 2 mins then wash off with cold water. I no longer have the acne spots on my chin or forehead - my blackheads seems like they've disappeared and are easier to remove. My face is super clean and soft; I also have less dry patches. I have not experienced a purging period yet. But so far, I really enjoy this Clarisonic tool. But I'm not sure if it's the Clarisonic or Apple Cider Vinegar Toner that's improving my skin. Both work amazingly well together.

Love this product! I was using the olay spinbrush for awhile telling myself it was probably just as good as the clairsonic and for much cheaper (I was so wrong)! The clarisonic is truly amazing it really exfoliates your skin, deeply cleans and makes your skin care products better absorb. My skin hasn't felt this supple in so many years! It's really worth every penny the cheaper alternatives just don't compare.

I absolutely adore my Mia 2. It has cleared up my skin and really changed the texture. I feel like my products are able to work better because the skin is thoroughly cleaned and energized. I was told to use an enzyme masque and then take it off with the Mia. This product truly makes my life better and it feels great too!

I started using my Mia 2 about a week and half ago. Complete and total skin transformation! My skin was lifeless and dull. I exfoliated twice weekly, Moisturized, e.t.c. Nothing seemed to help. This little baby has made my skin glow. I alternate between the deep pore brush and the sensitive skin one that it came with.

I use it Morning and night without and damaging effects. My skin hasn't broken out and my pores have shrunken drastically. I put off buying this because of the price. Glad I finally broke down and bought it. Well worth the money!!

I started using the Clarisonic on my oily skin about two weeks ago. I used to have moderate/hormonal acne flare-ups on my chin regularly, and over the past few months have been mostly acne free since discontinuing hormonal birth control. ANYWAY. Two days into using my Clarisonic Mia2 twice a day with their acne cleanser and Dermalogica moisturizer (that I've always used!) I got THREE massive cystic pimples. One on my chin, one on my cheek, and one next to my nose. I was so irritated, but I continued to use the Clarisonic hoping for the best.

I am a totally happy camper now. I haven't had any new breakouts, my skin is glowing and soft, it absorbs masques and moisturizers sooo much better than it used to. I'm even beginning to see some minor fine lines diminish.

The best part: I got a compliment on my skin! From a stranger! The last time that happened I was probably 13, when I had naturally perfect airbrushed skin. Maybe those days are back?

All in all, stoked on my Mia2.

I got one of these during the holidays and it came with the deep pore cleansing head and the sensitive skin head. I first used the deep pore cleansing brush. Instantly after using it, my face felt smooth and looked a little bit glowy. One month after using it, my face had really cleared up! It definitely cleansed and shrank my pores! Foundation looked better on my face than ever before! I was skeptical about this at first, I didn't think it would have such an impact. Now I can't live without it. I went on vacation and forgot to pack the charger, and unfortunately it died, so I wasn't able to use it for a few days. By the end of my vacation, my face had started to break out, and my pores were noticeably larger again. This is a miracle product for me!

The only bummer for me was that the sensitive skin brush it came with does not work for me! After 3 months, I changed my deep pore brush to the sensitive one and after using it for a few days, my face had broken out horribly! My pores were huge! I immediately went and got some of the deep pore cleansing brushes and my face is starting to get back to normal again.

I love the Clarisonic Mia! It worked wonders for me. This is one of the best things I've ever bought. It's worth a try!

Wow! I'm not easily impressed with just anything, but let me tell u I am in my early 30's and have been struggling with chin hormonal acne on and off for five years now. I used the proactive and acne free products... I recently as if October quit the proactive because it was getting expensive and I had to cut back on some things. Te first couple months I noticed that my chin wasnt breaking out. So I figured cool!! Maybe the hormonal acne has kicked the curb once and for all.. NOT as if January and February the acne flare up got so bad it even was on my forehead and side if face. Cystic embarrassing pimples!! I didn't even want to look In the mirror! I was talking to my younger sister and she was telling me how she loves the clarisonic, and how she can tell a huge difference in her skin since she used this... Mind u I just went to a dermatologist for my chin acne and redness on my face and the dermatologist told me that I maybe had rosacea!!!! Puh-lease!!! I don't have rosacea so u know what she prescribed me??? Pills and a SULFER acne wash!! Why would u prescribe someone who supposedly has rosacea and sensitive skin a sulfer based cleanser? Not to mention this doctor was a total B****!! So I took my sisters advice bought the mia 2, went to walmart bought a face wash for sensitive skin called Ceravee and went home and washed my face. Voila!! In less than two weeks the bumps were gone.. No more new pimples. The redness is completely gone from my face and my face looks so much brighter!! My conclusion is my skin is sensitive and I have oily skin and a wash cloth just wasnt cleaning the oil good enough!! The proactive and salycilic acid ingredients were making my skin red and irritated!! I am in love with this clarisonic! I highly suggest u buy this and try it instead if swallowing a pill and using some harsh chemical on your face!!

I bought this product about 5 weeks ago and was so excited to try it out! Upon reading the instructions it said that the product had to be charged a full 24 hours before the first use. I was so sad I had to wait another day but alas I was still excited about this splurge item that I had high hopes for. So the next day I used it for the first time. I followed the instructions and started with my forehead and immediately got an eyeful of soap. "Ok" I thought to myself, "next time start with the chin area and don't use so much soap." I finished the 1 minute of brushing my face and was excited to start a new and better skin care regime. Well the next day I noticed my skin looked irritated. But I was persistent and kept on using it 2 times a day on the slow speed. Then I got a few tiny pimples but they went away the next day. But then I got a few more zits and just figured my skin was going through the purging phase and kept pushing on. I cut back to once a day at night But it was still too much for my skin. (Which is combo/oily acne prone) After about 4 weeks I decided to take a few days off from using my mia2. My skin started flaking up big time (was it from the clarisonic overly irritating my skin?) so I decided to use the clarisonic again and the next day I had a few pimples on my chin and forehead! I was so done with this product! I returned it and would not recommend this product.

I have recently purchased the Clarisonic Mia 2 and I'm so glad I did. Other descriptions of this product stated the Mia is the smaller and easily transportable product; but if the Mia is small then the pro version etc must be huge and I think I would have struggled to hold them and cleanse around my nose area. I have been using the clarisonic now for just over a week with an Elemis cleanser in the evening and the try enzyme facial wash in the morning before work. At present I seem to have developed a very large area of dry and flaking skin on my forehead and I'm considering limiting the Mia's use to just once a day to see if it rectifys the problem. I have extremely fair skin which can switch between dry to hormonally oily with some break outs dependant on where I am in the female cycle. I researched reviews for a considerable period before finally making the purchase and I have to admit any scepticism I held has been won over by how clean my face feels in comparison to using hot cloth products etc alone. I have not experienced any skin purging as yet other than dry patches; and I'm monitoring closely as I felt anxious following other posts that the clarisonic had caused others to experience sebaceous acne and spider veins on the cheeks. I'm not entirely sure yet whether it has had a noticeable effect on my skin. Only time will tell; but at the moment I do feel like it has given an additional zest and feeling of 'me' time during the daily cleansing routine. I am so glad I didn't purchase the other models as this is more than big enough for daily usage. I will post another review in a month.

Firstly, mine is not a mia. i got the new aria, i"ve heard from MUA reviews that most clarisonic systems work the same with the exception of pro or plus maybe which have the additional body brush feature.

i read heaps and heaps of reviews before i decided i wanted to buy one. i must say i was so obsessed with it, i didn't mind paying the extra 90$ for shipping and tax etc... so mine cost me roughly 300$. (got it shipped to India) i know its crazy coz even the most expensive clarisonic costs less than this but i'm hoping that the product will be fully worth the fortune i paid for it.

i wanted to charge mine for the full 24 hours as it asks us to, but my LED stopped blinking and became a full solid white in less than 24 hours and so i thought it was ready to use.

I'VE TRIED IT JUST ONCE SO FAR. so here are my first impressions:
1)The one minute t timer cycle seems really too quick for me, i might try the 2 min cycle once i get used to the product.

2)The brush feels too soft (i got the sensitive brush head with mine) but i suppose thats how its meant to be. maybe coz it was so damn soft i didn't feel like it was doing its job. (wrong)

3)I use A-Derma Sls and paraben free cleanser and it really doesn't lather or make me feel super clean, but my dermatologist suggested it for me coz i really wanted to go SLS free at any cost. i used the clarisonic with this cleanser and i must say, i do feel clean, maybe not as squeeky as the other harsh cleansers i've used. (but who wants that anyway?).

4) I was being greedy and expected my pores to look invisible after using the clarisonic once, obviously, no changes there.

5) OK!!! so what is the big deal then??? the reason i"ve given it the 4 stars is for one primary reason (at least as of now) : i make my own facial moisturizer and its obviously greasier than the store bought versions, it takes over 5 to 10 min to sink into my skin, after using the clarisonic it magically swam into my skin. i really couldn't believe my eyes. it was surreal. this means lesser product will be used and it will be more effective... not just goop sitting around on my face...

yes, i still do have my visible pores on either sides on my nose, whiteheads on my chin and dry spots on my cheeks but somehow after one use i have faith in my new Clarisonic to help me over time.

will update after using it for a while. hoping, praying and wishing with all my heart that this initial euphoria doesn't fizzle out and it actually lives up to my expectations.

I was skeptical at first because the first two or three times I used this, I didn't see what people were ranting and raving about. It just cleans your face? However, I was still determined to hang onto this for at least another week before I took it back to Ulta for a refund. I AM SO GLAD I KEPT IT. I don't think I've missed a day of using this because I love it that much. You may not be able to tell a difference in what it does for your skin at first, but as soon as you miss a day of using this or you try to wash your face normally without your Clarisonic, you'll realize how much dirt and makeup really does get left in your skin.

I'll go a little more into detail about this.
I bought the delicate brush head for it and I swear, it's probably the best thing I could have done. I absolutely love the feeling of it. Some people say that when you start using the Clarisonic for the first time, you go through a "purging" stage which can last anywhere from a few weeks to a month+. I see why this may happen, you're finally getting a really deep down clean which is bringing all the imperfections in your skin, to the surface which would come to the surface on their own in time anyway, so the saying goes "It has to get worse before it gets better" Which I have always found to be true. I didn't go through this purging phase at all though, but I'm guessing it's because I use Retin-A which is also bringing all my imperfections to the surface!
I don't use this to take off my makeup and I wouldn't advise you to either. I either use makeup-remover wipes or some sort of makeup remover on my own, and then use this with my Cetaphil wash at night and then my Oxy wash in the morning which leaves my skin SO smooth and clean.

One thing I should also add is that this is for the Mia 2. I haven't used the original Clarisonic or the Mia 1 so I can't really compare them. I just know that the Mia 2 comes in a bunch of different colors (I have the baby pink because that's all Ulta had at the time) and it has two speeds compared to the Mia 1 and the original. I don't pay too much attention to the speeds, I probably change it up all the time without even noticing. I guess you just have to try it out for yourself, although I would reccomend trying the slower speed to start out with. This also has a timer on it so you know exactly when to move on. 20 seconds on the forehead, 20 seconds on the chin and 10 seconds for each cheek for a total of 60 seconds before it turns off on its own.

Like I said, the price probably is expensive for most people, especially because most people think this is just a rotating brush like the Olay one.. WRONG. This is way more advanced and way better for your skin and will definitely last A WHOLE LOT LONGER.
The packaging is really cute, it has the top for the brush and then a plastic case which is really good for traveling!
Would I buy this again? I mean, if mine ever broke I would buy a new one immediately. I seriously can't go a day without washing my face with this. My boyfriend hates how obsessed I am with this because I wont stay the night at his house if it means I don't get to wash my face properly.

I have combo skin, clog prone, hyperpigmentation and large pores. I'm somewhat sensitive too. I purchased this and immediately changed to the delicate head. It seemed to make my T-zone feel softer , however it left my cheeks irritated, my pores looked larger and I developed many very small whiteheads after each time I used it (2-3x a week). Therefore I will be returning this product. If you have smiilar skin to mine please be careful. I can imagine oilier, normal and thicker skin types would enjoy this machine that's why I gave it 2 stars.
