I love this product. It leaves my hair super soft and untangled. I use a few drops after showering and let it air dry. One of the few products that worked for me. Only bad thing is that sometimes I feel it makes my hair a bit only maybe I shoukd use less drops.

I got a 0.5 oz bottle of this for free at Sephora. I love the smell and I liked the results I got from it. However, the price is a definite deterrent. I wouldn't buy it for it's price alone but I liked it overall. The smell reminded me of gingerbread cookies. Use sparingly to begin with because too much can weigh your hair down.

Believe me, I have tried every oil, serum, you name it on my hair to make it look healthy and not look like candlyfloss. I'm convinced that Ojon serum does the job for me. It's def more potent and moisturising than other high end oils and serums. I use it when I have washed and conditioned my hair, ready for blow drying. For the record, my hair is past shoulder length, thick, coarse, wiry, wavy and fuzzy - nightmare to blow dry sleek and straight. The first time I used this I used way too much (I thought this was impossible to do on my hair) and my hair looked very greasy. I didn't bother to wash it out and by the next day all the oils had sunk in to my hair and it actually looked sleek, shiny and very healthy, with a 'defined' look about it - my hair is usually so frizzy that all my low and highlights all seem to blend into one colour, but after using the oil, the colours were well defined.
If you've hair like mine, I would give it a go and even if you do use too much, leave it and see if it sinks into your hair. I've just used it for the third time, not using as much and my hair looks great and healthy.

I find that this serum works very well. I apply only to my ends on a daily basis prior bedtime. Due to price would not purchase again as I get similar results with NOW: argan oil

I have really long really thick hair so some kind of hair oil is always in my beauty kit and I have used many many kinds of oil for hair and this one is one of the better ones. It doesn't have that thick silicone like texture is actually a bit thinner but my hair seems to absorb it well. the scent is not bad but isnt all that divine either. I like the dropper packaging which keeps the product sanitary. I found that I needed to use more than two drops for my entire hair (I just need this for the ends and then again, I do have a lot of hair). Overall pretty good product, a little pricy for what it is.

Got a 15 ml. sample of this with Sephora points and all I can say is that I think I have finally found my HG hair serum/oil/treatment product. I've tried a LOT of similar type products to tame my coarse, thick hair and keep it as smooth as I like it (but which is not at all its natural state!). And, don't get me wrong - I still love and will continue to use (at least til I use them up, which should be maybe 10 years!) the products I already had - Moroccan Oil, L'Oreal Mythic Oil, Macadamia Oil, Aveda Smooth Infusion Glossing Straightener...the list goes on and on). And although it is early days, I am really thinking that I prefer this product from Ojon over all the others. It just seems to work better, leaving my hair smoother than the other products when I let it dry naturally, prior to flat ironing it. If these improved results continue, I will most definitely purchase the full size of this serum.

UPDATE: April 2013 I still have the teeny tiny bottle I got from Sephora and it's still almost full. I have such thick, plentiful hair that I never use the "recommended" amount of most products of this type - I always use more Moroccan Oil than the instruction call for; ditto my Mythic Oil, etc. So I'm amazed that such a minute amount of this serum (okay, so I sometimes use 3 drops instead of 2) can actually achieve the results I get. I imagine this wee bottle will keep me going for another 3 to 6 months (seriously...how insane is that?) at which time, I will run (not walk) to Sephora to get the full sized bottles (which I think is under $40 CDN, which to my way of thinking is not all that costly), which should probably last me for the rest of my life!

This, along with it's butt buddy, the Restorative Hair Treatment, are going straight back to beauty.com. Like I said about the RHT, I could handle my hair being weighed down if, and only if, I thought this was doing something beneficial for my hair. Unfortunately weighed down and greasy comes with other friends as well, like damaged, frizzy, and staticky. How on earth you get static and grease? Ask Ojon, I think they may have a scientific revelation on their hands.

I give this 5 stars because it actually DID something. I noticed an actual difference after using a few drops on my dry hair, followed by straightening. It was SO soft and stayed that soft for days. So impressed.

I bought this product from Ulta and I really notice a difference in my hair when I use it. Hair is more vibrant, shiny, manageable, and feels stronger. I went for a couple weeks with out using it and I can for sure say that this product works. I really like the unique dropplet applicator, but I decided to buy a mini spray bottle because I do prefer a mist. I went back to Ulta and the stylist informed me that this product is popular with African American people, and I have straight asian hair, so overall this product is very versatile.

Smells like leaves and nature to me.. I like it and it works great!

My fine, wavy, colored hair tends to be too dry. This oil has made a difference. My hair needs less since I cut back on shampooing frequency and started using Shea Moisture in the shower. I still use about 4 drops when I shampoo. The two products work well together for me.

What a terrible product I put this in damp towel dried hair before blow drying. I only put a few drops in in the ends of my hair never near the roots. I couldn't understand why parts of my hair were taking ages to dry when i realised it was dry but terribly greasy looking from the damn oil ! never putting this stuff near my hair again i have tried it a few times always with the same result so in the bin it goes. I will revert back to my much loved Moroccan oil.

I have big/thick/frizzy/dry/damaged hair. So as you can imagine it's a big nightmare.

I went to a Sephora and asked to try a sample of the Ojon oil. I liked it so much I went back and bought a bottle. Do note that I bought the small bottle and after two full months I'm maybe about a quarter done. A little will go a long way.

I'll half my hair (a left and a right side). While still wet I'll use about 5-6 drops on each side then blow dry my hair (I use a high quality T3 which I'm sure does affect things). I'll then add another 3 drops to each side for some extra smoothing.

I love the results. It leaves my hair soft and smooth and really gets rid of alot of the bulk. It also lets me get away with not having to flat iron which is something I always had to do to make my hair somewhat manageable.

This product is one of my very few holy grail items. I've tried the other hair oils and did not like them as much as the Ojon.

If your hair is already in good condition then this is not for you. It is only for those who have very dry hair.

A little backround on my hair/story:

I have very thin hair for a 25 year old. Back in December I stupidly bleached my natural hair, and after a while it resulted in a ton of breakage. I then (stupidly) thought that if I dyed it brown, it would look better. Wrong. I then thought that chopping off all my hair would work. Wrong again. So there I was, a failed, brunette pixie cut that looked fried and scruffy (that was my nickname at work, scruffy). My bangs were literally a fried flap of hair. Even after a haircut, my hair would still look like garbage.

One day I walked into ULTA, as I do about every 2 weeks. I'm constantly looking for SOMETHING to make my hair look normal again. That day I optimistically told myself that there had to be something in the store that would work.

I stumbled across the Ojon damage reverse. I was a little put off by the price, especially considering I didn't do any research on the product before hand. It's about $25 for a small bottle of the stuff. I was hesitant, but I liked how it said that it worked on contact and works to reverse previous damage. I ended up buying it and trying it right after I got out of the store. I put it over my fried ends, and while it did not automatically make my hair appear better, it felt a little better.
The next day I washed my hair and put the serum on right after. I haven't been able to heat style my hair in months, but after putting this stuff on I was able to lightly blow dry my hair. After washing my hair, the change was instant. My hair looks normal now. The fried ends are practically gone, my bangs look normal again.

I've tried everything from expensive $90 serums to the drug store crap. None have worked like this.

Hands down, a HG hair product. I'm very grateful to have found a product that gave me my confidence back. And to think I was hesitant about it at first!

Edit: I've been using this product for approximately 1 month and a half. I found that it has the potential to make my hair look greasy when used in the wrong places. For example, I have to keep it predominantly off of my bangs, or else they will stick together and make it look like I have less hair. Still totally pleased with the product though.

Edit edit! I have since stopped using this product, and use the liquid reconstruct prodct from the Joico K-pac line. It works the same without weighing down my hair like the serum did.

I got this few months ago in my UK GlossyBox, and I have to say I love it! I use it every day, this really helps my frizzy ends look better. I like to wave my hair with my straighteners, then I use this 'serum' to run though my hair. It makes my hair look so shiny and healthy! I say 'serum' as its quite runny, but a little goes a long way. I have no idea how much this costs, I don't think I will need to find out for a long while as this bottle is lasting me ages - I have hardly made a dent in it since I received it. I also love it as it doesn't weigh my fine hair down, which is fab as most serums do just that, they can make my hair look limp. Not this stuff!

Meh. Nothing special. There are plenty of oil products out there these days that do just as good a job, if not better, for a lot cheaper.

I really wanted to love this serum but sadly not.
The serum smells divine, the pipet is very annoying to use, i would prefer a pump or to just measure it out myself.
The actual serum is very concentrated and i found that even a few drops applied to my mid lengths and ends made my hair feel like an oil slick when it was dry, even to the extent that i had to re wash it as it felt so greasy.
I haven't completely given up on the serum, when i watched the QVC video on it, the man selling it said that the serum could also be used as a booster for the accompanying conditioner, so i squeezed out some conditioner onto my hand and then mixed in a few drops of the serum, creating a treatment conditioner so all is not lost.
I think this serum is only suitable for people with severely dry/damaged hair as the hair will soak it up and not leave it sitting on it like mine.

This is an amazing product. My ends are fairly damaged cause I've been bleaching them and dying them fairly intense colours at least once a month for the past year. I received this as a sample from sephora first and I was hooked. I use at least 3-4 drops due to the condition of my hair. I apply it to my towel dryed hair (focusing on the ends) and then blow dry it on low. My hair looks and is healthy. From the bleaching and dying, my hair should be ridiculously weak with a buttload of split ends, but suprisingly its not. My ends absorb the oil and the oil strengthens it and keeps it happy. Even my stylist was suprised by the healthy condition of my hair. Trust me and give it a whirl. Too much will make the hair greasy and too little won't work, your gonna have to find your happy medium with this.

Ok, first of all I have to confess that I am a total product collector, specially when it comes to hair. My hair is very thick, long, abundant, black colored, and really straight. I have tried and used continuosly a lot of products, from the drugstore to high end products, from aussies to macademia oil and I have to say that, when I first bought the macademia oil mask($30) and oil serum ($39) I thought I have found my HG for life, sadly it was not like that. The oil serum begun to build up on my hair and no matter how I would apply it, it was just not working at all anymore (this happened when I had half of the big bottle left with product). The mask still works but not the same way it used to work... Then I found this DAMAGE REVERSE INSTANT RESTORATIVE HAIR SERUM from OJON, and was totally shocked... The product claims that you only need to use like 2 drops of it to the entire hair (thing that has never been truth for me, I always find myself needing to use way more product for my hair, even with my pureology shampoo, I do not use a dime size as everyone claims, I use like a quarter coin size, however...) with this product I only use around 4 drops, warm it on my hands and run it over my hair and that is enough for healty shiny hair! It is not really expensive since you need such a small amount of it. Overall I am really happy with this product! :)

I just received thhis sample and it goes to show that you get what you pay for. The serum leaves you hair weightless, but when I received this product, a suggestion was made that I would have never thought of and it was to use as a moisturizer for your body. Usually after applying such a product to my hair I canot wait to wash my hands because they are sticky or slippery, but with this, I rubbed them together as you would lotion and it was wonderful! Bet you have not thought of that one!

Age: 44-55   Skin: Dry, Fair-Medium   Hair: Brunette   Eyes: Hazel

UPDATE: I've changed the price rating to 3 since it might be expensive for a bottle of oil but it lasts forever. I've barely made a dent in mine. And lowered packaging to 2 since for some reason, it's constantly hard to open: seems like the lid and dropper form some kind of vacuum and keep the top too tight. And in general, the product isn't a great as it seemed in the beginning. It's still good, particularly for fine hair, but not as smoothing as before.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: In many review sites, this is a love/hate product but for my hair - fine, dyed, very dull and very very dry - it works beautifully to restore shine and texture without adding weight or greasiness. Simply put: it makes my hair look normal and nice.

You need to ignore the instructions however and figure out the best amount and timing for yourself. Instructions claim to use 1-2 drops warmed up in your hands on damp or dry hair. For me (shoulder length hair), it's 4-6 drops warmed up - all together or in two steps - only on dry hair. I also work into the driest areas and ends, then run over the top of the hair. While I do use other serums e.g. Moroccanoil and Frieda, even applied sparingly they often look like I've got oil on my hair. This doesn't. Plus, while I normally need to wash daily, this has doubled the time I can go without shampoos.

Just for reference, my normal hair products are B&B, Davines and Kerastase. I tried Ojon products several years back and they were either too heavy or did nothing so I never considered the brand again. I got this as a sample and have been using it constantly. Just placed an order for the full-size. Only reason I gave it 4 stars rather than 5 is that it's especially expensive for its small size.
