Looks gorgeous on green-blue eyes. Very smooth texture, and once it has dried on my lids, it stays put! I wear it by itself-- such a great stand alone shade.

While doing an Internet image search that contained the word pomagranete I saw a picture of someone's eye. The longer I looked at it the more I thought " I need to find out what color eyeshadow that is". I was so surprised when I clicked on the picture to find out it was by maybelline, I thought for sure it was going to be way out of my price range. I live in the middle of no where, my local Walmart didn't even have it. Determined to get it I drove almost 30 miles to another Walmart which did have it. Crazy I know, we've all been there!
I had to try it out as soon as I got home. It's the perfect blend of a burgundy, brown shimmer. It doesn't look childish in the least. I think it is a very sophisticated shade that almost anyone could wear. You can build the color, go as light or as dark as you want. When I woke up the next morning it looked as good as it did when I had first applied it. So I left it alone. It was 98 degrees out so I headed to the pool for the afternoon. It held up well in the heat and humidity.
I wore it to work today. Got lots of compliments. Normally if I wear eyeshadow I get a crease after about 4 hours and am touching it up throughout the day, not with this. It is a no fuss no touch up eyeshadow in a very pretty shade.

This is a very pretty shade of pinkish-plum on my medium tone skin. It has shimmer so those that don't like that quality may want to steer away from this. You can build the color up to get the intensity you want and it doesn't budge on my oily lids. You do have to work fast with it as I noticed it does dry quickly, but it works good blended with other shadows in the crease. With this shade, I use brown, black, or a dark purple in the crease to give it more depth. I see no problem wearing it day or night since initially I was a little apprehensive about using it. I didn't want to look sleep-deprived or sick, but this was neither and adjusts well with my dark brown eyes, though I can see this being great for those with green eyes. The texture is creamy enough to use with my fingers so I don't have to use a brush. I look forward to trying new shades.

Beautiful colour, buildable and smooth just like most of the other color tattoos I've tried. Works nicely on tanned skin and can work well on its own or as a base for other colours. I'm so impressed by this line of products, I don't have them all but ones I have, including this, are lovely.

I purchased this shade in the color tattoo line a few days ago and absolutely love it.
It is not a color I would usually pick but I thought it would be a nice color change for the cooler weather.
It can be put on heavy or sheared out, doesn't budge, easy use container and doesn't feel to heavy once dry.
My only fault is that they could do with being a bit cheaper her in Australia.

Never thought of buying this colour. I was scared of looking like I had woken up with allergies if I put anything red near my eyelids but this colour works. For reference I am on the paler side of NC25, Asian skintone. This colour is extremely sexy! I have never described a colour that way before... But wow!!!! Opaque for a smokey eye out for the night? This colour will be your best friend. Sheer it out on your eyelids for daytime use if you like.
Personally, I like wearing Bad to the Bronze as a base, and quickly before BTTB dries, I put some of Pomegrante Punk ontop! A rich mahongany brown is achieved.
I can't fault the packaging or formulation.
I will say that, I know all shadows tend to firm/harden up after a while. To fix that, take off the lid, put the product into a container and fill it up with BOILING HOT WATER... right to the brim of the product's glass! But not submerging the whole product.
Close the container with a lid or pop a bowl or something ontop. Let steam work its magic :) This way you're not adding saline.. or anything into the product changing the formulation. Once you've left it for about 10-15 mins, remove it from the boiling water...
You product should be extremely soft. Smoothen the surface out (it should feel spongey). Pop the lid back on and let it cool.
:) The next day, it will be good as new.

One of my favorite color tattoos. Goes on beautifully and can be worn as a light pinkish wash or heavily as a deep plum-maroon. I added a warm brown (MAC swiss chocolate) to the crease, and lightly tapped some shimmery gold color on lid center, and it looked gorgeous.
If it helps at all, I have a demonstration of how I apply it while I talk about how I like it (split-screen style) on Youtube. Search wjmalique and MAC Drugstore Haul :)

If it were more burgundy-purple and less glittery, I'd rate it higher. No fall out , blends easily enough, lasts all day.

I absolutely LOVE this product! I love the color-it's a punch of brightness that does not come across as too much as the same time. Perfect to wear at work- I have worn this alone on my lid and with CT "inked in pink" as well. I use a primer and this lasts ALL day and I do mean ALL day. I don't wear makeup for 24 hours, so I have no idea if it lives up to its name or not, but it does for at least 16-18 hours.

I like pomegranate punk. It's inexpensive, creamy, stays in place and flatters my green eyes.
I looks more brown than burgundy, though and you have to pay attention to what colors you pair it with in order not to look tired.

I love the Maybelline Color Tattoos in general. They're creamy, long lasting, don't smudge, make colors pop, etc. But THIS color in particular is an absolute favorite. I'm pretty "shy" with my eyeshadows and usually stick to neutrals, browns and taupes. But I'm so glad I gave this a try. I apply it lightly all over my lid, concentrating a little more in the the crease to get a deeper color. I smudge it underneath my eyes and apply lots of mascara. It's a warm plummy color and it makes the green in my eyes pop. It's smokier than my usual looks but it looks effortless (and it is). It also makes a nice base, it adds warmth and depth to otherwise "boring" colors.

Finally jumped on the Colour Tattoo band-wagon! I only bought it because there was a massive sale; ordinarily in Australia they're too expensive for my liking. So it was about $7-8. I think it's going to last ages. So easy to apply- i just used my finger! I couldn't believe the longevity of it. I never thought a cream product would last so long! It did crease slightly but as long as i 'pat' over the lid once or twice a day it's fine, and i usually have to do this with my powder shadows anyway. Gorgeous plummy colour which by the looks of it can be applied heavily or sparingly for a nice subtle look. Bought it last night, wore it today and am in love!

Oooooh, peeerrty! This is so versatile, long-lasting and easy! The color is amazing, it layers from a sheer, soft dusty pink to a heavier, redder pomegranate (duh). I was worried about the whole red-eyeshadow-thing, but I needn't have. It's wonderful, and it looks wonderful on me. I apply it with my fingers all over lid and up along my socket line in a parable shate, and if I can do that, anyone can...

I bought this because I heard it was a dupe for MAC Artifact. It's not as red as I had hoped, but nevertheless the colour is still amazing.

I got this because of the reviewer who said it was a shade similar to MAC's Cranberry. Which I guess might be true. Unfortunately, when you apply this, if you blend at all you are left with obvious glitter & not much color. This is something that needs to be patted on, not swiped (and I prefer to swipe on cream shadows). I had also planned to wear as more of a crease color but to do that requires a bit more fussing than I usually feel like doing.
I will be keeping this & using it occasionally but I wish it was more like Bad to the Bronze in pigmentation & blendability

This colour very nicely compliments my brown eyes. I love the glass packaging and the staying power is phenominal (I do not have oily eyelids). It is really easy to apply I like to use my MAC 217:). I have two negative things to say: it's quite expensive considering it's a drugstore item. I got this at my local Walmart for a little more than 14 dollars CAD. Also I had this for several months, and tightly closed the lids, but I still got the pulled edges.

Color is ok. I was looking for something close to MAC's artifact (which, of course, is discontinued) This wasn't close to it for me. Also, it didn't stay on for the life of it. If you don't have issues with products (esp. eye products) staying on, then this would be perfect. If you like NYX jumbo pencils, you'd love these because they are much better.

I'm loving this color with my light brown eyes. Its easy to apply and control and stays put all day. The only thing I don't like is that it grabs any powder eye shadows applied on top, therefore its very hard to blend.

gorgeous burgandy plummy wine shade which looks amazing paired with black pencil/mascara and worn over a black cream shadow/or liner base to enhance the sheen. Quite sparkly but not too glittery more of a sheen once applied. these wear and wear and are worth the small amount of money they cost full price. Look forward to trying the taupe and the bronze next. Better wearing and longer lasting than mac paintpots on me which always crease. this doesnt!
