I just tried this foundation recently. I love Bourjois foundation. This one wasn't awesome for me though. I am not going to cut off lippies based on me though because this is actually a very good foundation, if you have normal to oily skin. It's creamy, smells great, and goes in smooth and easy to blend. I have super DRY skin though so this didn't set right on me and really emphasized dryness. Even in our hot weather lately this was too drying. It would be an absolute dream if you have oily skin especially in the warm months. I hope this helps for some of the mixed reviews! Also I got shade 51 light vanilla. Slightly yellow but once applied looks great. (Color wise)

I had really high expectations of this foundation, so I bought it. Im very dissapointed now! It is very covering (which I think is a big plus) but I suddenly had breakouts, which I normally never have! Next to that, it is very yellow on my NC25 skin. Now, this foundation lies rotting in my make up stash. Such a waste!

I'm a big fan of Healthy Mix, so decided to give this a try as I needed something more mat for warmer/humid weather. This foundation provides medium to heavy coverage and sets up with a satin, almost powdery finish on my oily skin. I get little or no shine with this foundation, which is much less dewy than HM, and I don't need to set it with powder--both big pluses! I find it goes on better with fingers than a brush. It's a pretty dense liquid (about half a pump covers my entire face), and I was ending up with way too much on my skin when using a brush. I do love that I don't need much if any concealer with this product (I find I need lots with HM). I think this is a good mat foundation for oily or combination skin and for anyone who wants some serious coverage. It's definitely not a "second skin" type foundation. My least favorite thing about it is the scent (I guess that's where the "flower" part comes in). It's sweet and cloying and smells really old-fashioned to me.

This is not the product for me. It was too thick for my skin and I could feel it the whole time it was one. It looked dusty and flakey probably because I have very dry skin. I took it off before I went out anywhere.
The only thing I liked about this product was the bottle because it has a pump. The sponge just isn't usable.
This product is really expensive in Australia at $34 at priceline which makes me very glad I was given this as a gift.

My search is over. This is the best foundation for normal/combination or oily/combination skin. After Revlon Colorstay, this is my new favourite! It covers perfectly (full coverage) acnes, scars, dark undereyes, spots, rednes, blemishes, black spots...you name it, and still gives you natural not cakey look! I always get compliments when I have it on.

Big Bourjois fan , I always find their foundations work so well with my rather dry skin. I have about 5 different Bourjois fdt going at the same time right now , and I will never be without at least one Bourjois foundation.
I have been using this for the last year or so . Shade 51 is the one I get along with best. I do have a 52 aswell , but I find that is more appropriate for summer months , as I got fair skin.
This covers beautifully. I tend to get a few spots and redness and I always resort to a few pumps of this before a night out. It's not matte like a lot of foundations nor dewy. Its just leaves you with a natural-looking complexion , but without the imperfections.
I dislike the fiddly packaging . The plastic top comes of far too easily and the sponge attached at the top is a bit useless and unhygienic.
But for me , this is a keeper and reasonabily priced as well!

I've been using Healthy Mix in 51 in the winter, and 52 in the summer. The only problem I had was getting shiny throughout the day (which happens regardless which product I use). I decided to try this in 51.
It's quite drying, and by the end of the day I noticed that I looked older, and my skin looked dry and flaky (though flakes are rare for me after I switched to Bioderma skin care). The coverage is medium and buildable- I almost always forget to use concealer because this covers flaws so well. I also like the fact that it has SPF 10.
After testing this out for a week and looking increasingly worse, I knew I couldn't use this foundation alone. I started mixing it with Healthy Mix. Now I have better coverage and better oil control.

Ladies with acne prone/oily skin should know that this not an oil-free foundation. It is a little bit heavy... But if you don't use much, it doesn't get cakey. It has really good pigmentation. One pump will be enough for medium coverage. It broke me out and my face got greasy after 3 hours. So i guess this one will be good for normal skin.

This foundation is a great everyday wear. I quite like that it has a very natural look to it while also feeling very light and smooth on the face. Nothing special about it, lasts 4-6 hours like most make up.

I quite liken this product.
Although it is slightly pricey and the colour range was limited, I found the coverage to be great compared to other foundations i have used.
I have asian (light) skin tone and I bought the number 53. I found this a bit too light for me but it was only a slight difference. I applied it to my neck aswell. With other foundations, I find they go patchy on my dry patched and my oily t-zone but this didnt. With a quick puff of pressed powder, it looked great.
Pros: great coverage, oil free, didnt break me out, natural looking
cons; bottle is quite delicate and breakable, sponge is too small, colour range is poor.
Overall, i found this great
must have for oily/acne prone/dry/combination skin

ive been using bourjois mineral matte foundation for so long and was really dissapointed when it go discontinued in my country. Left with not much choice i decided to try this recommended new foundation, with not much expectation. But it surprised me for being a pretty good foundation which keeps my super oily face shine and oil-free. I dont even need to blot my face after a few hours like how i used to with other foundations! It doesnt streak and it blends so well. I used my fingers as i find the sponge is useless and not very hygienic, as i have extremely sensitive skin which breaks out very easily. With this foundation though, i have minimal breakouts and i think in some ways, especially the oil -reduction, it is better than my previous bourjois foundation. I'll definitely repurchase!

Out of all the drugstore foundations I have tried in my lifetime this one would have to be my favourite.
Pros
- SPF15
- medium to high buildable coverage
- hides blemishes and redness
- evens out skin tone
- blends really well
- matte finish but
- makes skin feel incredibly smooth
- lasts for at least 9-10 hours before I need to touch up with some powder (I have combination-oily skin too)
- hygienic pump bottle
- smells really really nice
Cons
- for those who like brushes: because the texture of the foundation is so thick applying it with a brush just won't work, you're better off using your fingers (i don't really see this as a con because I find my fingers do a better job than any brush)
- the sponge is somewhat redundant:
a) you waste more product when using it
b) it's just hands down unhygienic, so I don't know why you would bother anyway...
Perfect for those who want a foundation that gives them a mattified, medium coverage without the cakeyness! I love it so I will definitely be repurchasing it again.

I was on the look out for another medium/full coverage foundation since it's now CRAZY HOT (27 degrees upwards) in England (this is very rare for us!) and I need something which will not slide off.
I must say, I put my make up through a LOT. Today I drove to see a client (no air con in the air) and sunbathed and went running (sweat galore) and this foundation has been very impressive.
I would put it in the Revlon Colorstay/Estee Lauder Double Wear bracket since it is very long wearing and covers imperfections really well but still looks natural. I'd actually say it's better than CS and DW because it doesn't look/feel/smell like a mask of paint like they do. It actually has a very pleasant, almost floral scent like the name suggests.
I have taken a lippie off because the packaging is pretty awful. It comes with this silly little sponge which I ended up throwing away and there are so many stickers on it that it just ends up a grimey mess on the outside (even after scrubbing it with a face wipe for ages) so that's a bit of a negative but aside from that, this is a VERY nice foundation - feels really velvetty on the skin and also out of all the foundations I've ever tried (including Colorstay, Double Wear, Clinique, Perfect Match/True Match L'Oreal, Mabelline etc) this one is my favourite.
For £11 you can't go wrong. I bought the shade 'vanilla' which is the 2nd palest shade. The 1st shade (palest) was very, very pale but vanilla is a nice, yellow-toned neutral, very flattering and natural :]

I got a sample of this so I am not sure how much it costs. Anyways, I did not like this product much. First time I hear about this brand too - I dont even know where to buy this foundation.
Cons:
- No good coverage
- Difficult to apply
- Made my face little shiny after few hours
Pros:
- Nice bottle

Not my favourite bourjois foundation, that's for sure. For the record, I much prefer the Healthy Mix Gel foundation (red cap) to this. I've tried applying this with fingers, Real Techniques buffing brush and a sponge.
.
Pros: lots of coverage, way more than I was expecting and way more than the Healthy Mix ones. Lightest colour is lighter than the Healthy Mix lightest, which is great for pale people like me. A little goes a long way.
.
Cons: Flat, dull finish. It gets tacky really quickly so you need to do a section of the face at a time. Then it stays tacky for a good 30 minutes, even if you've powdered. I hate that feeling and I get paranoid that any slight touch to the face is rubbing off the foundation. The pump is good but the bottle shape is a bit stupid and the built in sponge is a waste of time.

This is the first Bourjois foundation I havent liked.I think the sponge on the top of the cap is totally pointless. The formulation is really thick compared to Healthy Mix however this provides a more heavy coverage. The finish overall is really cakey on me. I would say not suitable for dry skin types.

I always look forward to new Bourjois foundations and unfortunately, this disappointed me.
Good:
Medium coverage
Hides blemishes well
Bad:
Oxidises
Matte finish
Not good for dryer skin types
Skin gets oily after about 4 hours
