This review is for the Vanilla Body Mist which is a part of the newly released body mists in the glass bottle.. but since it wasn't listed anywhere, I'm reviewing it here.


This has been my go-to fragrance since several days because its such a sweet, warm and creamy vanilla scent. The staying power is also pretty decent for a body mist and lasts longer than than the strawberry and satsuma ones from the range. The bottle is quite pretty and minimalistic but its glass so I have to be really careful with it. The scent is pretty much through and through vanilla.. A bit too sweet and cloying initially, but it gets really cosy as time goes by and the result is absolutely delish! And a few friends actually commented that it smells a bit like chocolate, which is absolutely fine for me being a chocoholic!


All in all, if you're a fan of vanillary or foody-bakery sort of scents, this one's a must! It can also be layered with other scents just to add a bit of warmth and depth. I'll definitely repurchase.

This body spray reminds me so much of Bath & Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar. I feel so warm and cosy when wearing this (and I also get lots of attention from boys!) Haven't owned this for that long but I LOVE it!!!!

Smells great I use this as hair spray when I use angel,the two fragrances compliment each other nicely my bf loves the smell on me when I spray the two together so that's a plus:) its not your usual creamy vanilla kinda smell its more a warm cosy tobacco pipe vanilla smell that smells divine mixed with angel on me,one lippie off the packaging I have to agree with the other reviewers it does look cheap but it smells great so no worries about the tacky bottle and the price is right to:)

I love this so much! It's cheap and it smells so good. Just a warning, though: it's not straight-up vanilla. I don't know what the combination is, but I think it's some kind of musk mixture, perhaps with a tiny bit of sandalwood. I always put on clothes that I've sprayed it on and go "Mmm, what's that?" then realise that it's this that's left on my clothes. It's soft and feminine, and I find it can also be layered together with other vanilla scents for a fuller, more unique kind of smell.

I love this so very much! I love vanilla scents, and this body spray captures it perfectly. It's very warm, slightly musky, seductive, and pleasantly sweet smelling. It definitely lingers, too. I would definitely purchase this again, no questions about it. My only complaint is that it's so small, and for the price, should have much more of the product.

This is just plain, simple vanilla. I was expecting spicy vanilla or maybe floral vanilla but this mist is just super sweet cookie smelling vanilla. If you like to smell like bakery this one´s for you. The scent is very long-lasting and it´s actually a cozy fragance that I like to wear at bedtime but I don´t find it suitable for any other time. On the other hand, my boyfriend just loves it. This is the only reason I wear it and the only reason I´d repurchase. Experimenting, I found I like to layer it with Love, etc. (also from TBS) or to spray some in my hair. The bottle looks cheap but it´s practical.

This is my scent and has been since I was in high school. My mother first started to use it and I really loved the scent to I started and I've used it almost daily for years now. I always make sure that I got at least one bottle at home always (I get panicky if I'm close to running out since there is no Body Shop in my town and they don't do post order in my country).


The scent it self is absolutely lovely, it is the right kind of vanilla scent.
And the reactions I get when I wear it are really great, I've walked in to a store more than once and people go "Ohh, it smells newly baked in here" and they ask "what are you wearing, where can I get it".


I also sometimes layer my Vanilla Body Spray with the White Musk Body Spray, I mostly do this if I'm going to a club, bar or on a date.
But the result is really great if you ask me.


So to sum this up the spray smells delicously newly baked goods, it's also quite cheap and you get your moneys worth. The packaging is practical and it's easy to use. What's not to like?


p.s. I've tried other perfumes and body sprays that are supposed to smell vanilla but they all seem to lack something or have to much of something. Only this one seems to fit me (I'm addicted to it i think.)


///EDIT/// I haven't worn it in a while and when I started again I noticed something wrong right away. I have no idea what's happened but this now smells wrong on me. I'm not sure if there is some change in my body chemisty or if my bottles gone of or what but I'm panicking a bit. It's probably not the bottle since it still smelled wonderful on my mother. I'm so frustrated! no I have to try and find a new casual scent and it's going to be a nightmare.

A very nice scent that lasts all day.
Isn't too strong - just perfect for everyday use. Im not a true vanilla fan - I just enjoy any good scent.
I'd purchase it again.

I absolutely love the smell of this body spray! It smells lovely and fresh. I've gotten many compliments, a friend told me I smelled "apple pie"... *lol* The scent is very long-lasting and it's not overpowering at all. I have to agree with other reviewers, I've never found a scent that smells as nice as this vanilla body spray. I highly recommend it and will definitely repurchase over and over again. Maybe the packaging is a bit boring and not "fun" enough but I really don't care. New HG! I'm so happy I stumbled upon this at The Body Shop!

I LOVE the smell of this body spray!!! It smells warm and gorgeous - my friend wore it to school one day and I just HAD to buy some for myself! It can be a bit strong if you spray too much and if you spray too little it wears off really quickly, but I find 1-2 sprays is perfect. Yes the bottle is a bit cheap looking and it is quite expensive for a body spray but it lasts for ages and the smell is so lovely that I know I will buy this or the eau de toilette again.

I love his vanilla body spray. I have never found one that smells as nice as it. I receive many compliments when I wear it. It has very good staying power aswell which I love. As for the bottle ooking cheap.....would people prefer if they gave it different packaging and charged us more for it, I think not! A lovely fresh not too sweet vanilla smell!

I'm quite surprised at some of the low ratings for this deliciously light vanilla scent. Its so sweet but the lightness as in non heavy cloying scent lingers beautifully. It is a very summery vanilla scent and great if you find the edt/perfume oil heavier.

I also have PdC's Vanilla Fantasy which is also lovely and longer lasting ice creamy type vanilla but TBS's version has none of the boozy as does Vanilla Fantasy.

TBS Vanilla Body Mist has got me lots of complients :o)

I love sweet smelling fragrances... This is one of my favorites! I use this a couple of times a week and always get lots of compliments... I would recommend this to someone who loves sweet smells and is on a budget!

When I first smelt this, I thought it was the most wonderfull thing to ever happen to my nose. and I used this religously for about a year, but now whenever I smell TBS Vanilla line, I just smell chemicals. But I guess that's my fault. Staying power was pretty decent, concidering it's a spray.

If I use body sprays, I usually like them to be more concentrated so I don't have to literally douse myself in them. This has a nice vanilla scent that lingers all day on bare skin. I spray this on myself when I get out of the shower right after I put on my lotion. I don't need any more than 3 sprays to make this stuff last all day. I get a lot of compliments when I wear this too.

I like the smell, warm and sweet, and you don't need a lot as it's very concentrated. But it might contain too much alcohol so it's not moisturizing at all. The bottle also looks too common.

I enjoyed using the Vanilla EDT and fully expected to be just as enamoured by the body spray. What a delusion. This smelled like vanilla and absinthe on me...overly chemical, synthetic and reeking of alcohol. An absolutely horrible scent that is cloying, nauseating and positively vomit-inducing. The worst bit is that this scent lasts for ages on my skin. Getting rid of it is somewhat akin to Mission Impossible...I had to scrub and scour for ages and when that failed, I prayed long and hard. Just awful. Never ever again. *shudders*

I love Vanilla, but for some reason I can't wear this body spray. I don't know - maybe it doesn't agree with my body chemistry: it slowly turns into a overly cloying scent, and it's both sweet & sour. Ugh. Too bad because I love the way it smells on some people.

And I agree that the plastic bottle looks really cheap & crappy.

I might try the Eau de Toilette instead... but I would not purchase this spray again.
