Definitely repurchasing this product! I am SO happy with it... and I've taken LOTS of different vitamin supplements aimed towards hair health/growth. I bought my Viviscal for around $30-35 off Amazon. I am almost done with my first box and I have already noticed a huge difference. My hair is longer!! I dyed my hair about a week before starting the box... I've been taking it for about three and a half weeks now and the roots are so long!! A lot of people have noticed too. I am experiencing the "side effect" of my hair feeling greasy faster but personally I don't mind because my hair was so dry and damaged before.

I will most definitely be repurchasing a box from Amazon, and I know you can save money if you subscribe to where you get a box sent to you around the same date each month :)

Well worth the price!!!!

I have been taking this product for a little over 6 months now, never missing a dose. So far, I have not noticed any difference in hair growth, health, nothing. I have called their customer service line and they seem to lack knowledge when I asked product questions. Plus, someone on their facebook page pointed out a misspell on their package (I think it was their older packaging), which was really strange for a company that is supposed to be professional. I do have 3 more boxes left (my husband bought them for me). I'll report back when I complete them. So far, I don't recommend. They say to give it a minimum of 3 to 6 months. I doubt a few more weeks to make it a full 6 months will make a difference. Not sure about 9 months of treatment though. I don't have high hopes but we shall see.

I've been trying to grow my hair out for 3 years. It will NOT grow past my "chest" area. It is 22 inches. I purchased Viviscal and have been on it for 8 months now. I have never missed a single pill. I even purchased their "hair care" shampoo and conditioner (holy it's awful, dries out my hair). In the 8 months I have been on it, my hair has NOT grown. It is still the same length it was 8 months ago. I took a before picture of my hair and I keep looking at it and it is still the same length! I cut my hair about three times a year (I've found that over cutting it doesn't help or make it grow) and I do not dye it that often. I really had high hopes for Viviscal. I'm still using it as I bought 6 more months at once, so I will use it until it's done as I still have hope that it will grow. However, I should notice a difference in 8 months. I'm thinking maybe I shouldn't blowdry my hair anymore either. So, sadly, I'm stopping it all and will continue to deep condition (I sleep with conditioner in my hair).
I will update in one year and tell you if there if any difference, but I don't think there will be.
It's pretty expensive for a product that does nothing!

I have never written a review for anything in my life so im not sure what i am supposed to write - i thought i would write about viviscal because i have been using it on and off for 4 months. My hair never grows past my shoulders evvvver ! i have recently like two months ago got the japanese hair straightning so i can stop using my straightner - ( which worked great on my hair ) hmm I use to have think hair when i was younger but with me dying it and straightning it it kind of thinned out a little and stopped growing. so to say i am not the type to continue something if i dont see results right away- i took biotin 5000 mcg for maybe couple months but never noticed a difference - did hair treatments oil treatments - umm i think everything on the internet for hair growth so far that i came across i have done no joke ! lol . um i came across viviscal in a magazine but brushed it off cause i always think those are lies but than one day i was like let me search about it and i did found good reviews the weird thing was i could never find video reviews its like they are banned or whatever - so i stuck reading amazons reviews and makeup alley- i think these are the most honest ones where the company cant delete or whatever - .... anyway im blabbing point is worked for me - i got my mom on it shes getting a bit older so now her hair is thinning - we saw good improvements on her thickness - less hairs falling out . same with me with my length it is just starting to grow longer you really have to be patient - keep in mind i did not take it daily i would forget for days and than start again so iwasnt really taking it regiously and it still worked for me - my hair past is below boobs -- last time i checked my hair never grew past my boobs so good sign. ummmm it is pretty expensive but this is my second set of boxes and so they gave me a discount like a coupon code cause i have email registered so i got 50$ off not bad .. when i first started i started with the origional boxes now they changed them so i thought it wont work but i think they kind of doubled the dosage- i dont no i would prob write a better review if i was getting paid to do it :) haha but if you are patient person and are not expecting results right away try it - if your impatient dont. lol k thanks for reading my first review ever !!!

I've been using this for about 4 months for hormone-related hair loss. I think it has increased the volume of my hair some, but it's not a miracle worker. You will be disappointed if you go in wanting twice as much hair. I have noticed an increase in the speed of growth, and I seem to be shedding less. I'm not sure how much in inches per month my hair growth has increased, but I've noticed I need my roots done after 3 weeks rather than 4 or 5. The surprise has been my lashes! They are now at least as long and thick as they were when I used Latisse, which I quit using due to eye irritation. The only difference is with Latisse my lashes darkened a bit. Although Viviscal is pricey, it's no more expensive than Latisse and much less expensive than lash extensions (which I also tried, but that's another story).

About me... My hair used to be SO THICK! Until 2011, when I lost about 150 lbs in 10 months. The shock of it to my body caused me to go through chronic Telogen Effluvium. For most, TE only lasts 3-6 months & hair grows back as soon as it ends. With chronic TE though...it's a repeating process. My hair just can't keep up & has gotten to the point where I look bald. My dr has never mentioned it being female pattern balding, as I am really young, but that is DEFINITELY a possibility (Telogen Effluvium often onsets female pattern balding off if you are genetically prone to getting it later in life). On top of losing most of my hair, it began growing VERY slow. No one knows why, as all my blood tests have came back as "normal".

Anyways, I begun using Viviscal after being intrigued by all the amazing reviews I found online. It went from only growing 1/4th inch per month...to 3/4th inch! My hair isn't falling out as much, but I'm not seeing many new baby hairs either. I did find a few, though. Which is enough to make me happy. Keep in mind I have only been using Viviscal for about 6 weeks. There's still plenty of time. It takes 4 months for supplements to fully reach your scalp, which means the results aren't at their full potential yet. I have high hopes that with continued use I will get my thick hair back. I will definitely update this review soon.

I purchase Viviscal from Amazon where it's about $20 cheaper than buying from Ulta or CVS. If any of you need help understanding hairloss in women, feel free to PM me. I have a lot of knowledge on it & am here to help. :)

Genetic destiny has burdened me with shoulder length hair. I can get it cut or not- it will always be this length. But I try- treatments and vitamins etc.

I have been using viviscal for about a year.

My hair is still shoulder length, so no, it did not miraculously give me butt length hair.

It did make my existing hair amazing. It is soft and lovely and shiny. It has such bounce and I don't seem to be getting any grey!

So 4 stars for what it did to my hair- minus a star for not magically transforming my hair into crystal gayle (sorry if you are too young to understand that reference) lol

I have been taking Viviscal for 5 months to help grow my hair faster and this product works. I color my hair so it's easy for me to gauge how fast my hair is growing based on how quickly my roots come in. I've always heard that half an inch of growth per month is the norm, well my hair has always grown slower than that- who knows why? After about 3 months on Viviscal I was seeing close to an inch per month in my roots. That's phenomenal for me. These supplements are expensive but I get them at a good price on Amazon, and I plan to keep buying them. I'm loving the results!
As expected, this product makes ALL my hair grow faster. So in addition to having to color my hair more frequently I also have to pluck my eyebrows and shave more often too. But I don't mind because it just reminds me that my Viviscal is working.
One more thing, I think this product promotes new growth as well even though that's not what I started taking it for. I'm seeing lots and lots of shorter hairs all around my hairline. At first I was worried that they were broken-off hairs, now I realize that they are actually new.
Yes it's pricey and it doesn't work overnight, but I'm glad I gave it a chance. Recommended!!!

I think after researching on this product, it is probably a good quality product if you can afford it and have patience. Unfortunately for me, I am acne prone and I get cystic pimple from just a few pills of this. I tried stopping this and restarting again with just 1 pill a day and I get deep/big cystic pimple the next day. I usually do not get this deep acne unless close to my period and I'm pretty sure that this is the culprit. There are other reviewers on other websites that have noted the same reaction. So beware! The acne was not enough for me to continue to use to see if it actually works.

I have been taking this product twice a day for a year+ and my experience is that while it did make all (facial, etc.) my hair grow faster it absolutely did not thicken the strands at all. As I take a high quality women's multi, two high potency omega 3's, and 5,000 mcg biotin each day it is hard to say what percentage of my hair growth is due entirely to Viviscal.

I have tried several brands of hair supplements out there, none of them works, not even rogaine drops, shampoos, etc...until I tried this viviscal pill, wow my hair grew back! I am on 3rd month of using this pills, I am super happy woman again! My husband even touched my hair and said "wow I can feel thickness again" he is super happy for me. He was so upset by seeing me with nearly baldness on crown of my head, him and my folks can see through my head, it was horrible. Now I am very confidence woman with tons of hair! Thank you viviscal for bringing my hair back and feel sexy again!

My hair breaks off faster than it grows, and its been shoulder length ever since I can remember. I have taken biotin for about a year with no real results, so I was desperate! I started taking viviscal about 2 months ago, and I have about an inch of new growth, which for me, is a lot. I haven't noticed any change in my nails or eyelashes like some other people, but I don't mind. Also, the first months supply didn't give me any issues, but the second month seems like a different batch or something because it has an AWFUL fishy taste that will not go away all day long and it makes me hesitate to take it. I will probably repurchase for the suggested 6 months because it does seem to be working, and I have a lot of little baby hairs sprouting up.

I get asked a lot how do I get my hair to grow so fast, especially since I change my color A LOT..

Well, I have to share my secret.. I use Viviscal hair vitamins. It WORKS. It's like Lattisse for your head, lol!

I went blonde the 17th and I already have a 1/4 inch root growth! I have to get my roots done later today so I'm ready for my shoot with PUG tomorrow.. I'll see if my hair dresser won't mind me filming a quick clip to show you! The photo above was taken on the 20th before I headed out for the Hell's Kitchen filming.. I need to show you my root growth since then!

I used this for about 8 months and it really makes your hair and nails grow like crazy. Even my baby hairs around the hairline grew longer. HOWEVER, it gave me cystic acne like you wouldn't believe. I couldn't figure it out, but I happened to stumble upon info on the internet that a common complaint with Viviscal is worsening of cystic acne. I stopped taking it, and the acne went away. If you are not acne prone, it is really magical how thick and long it makes your hair. For me, it wasn't worth the zits.

I have used this product on and off for a couple of months, but I really took it daily for a month and my hair has grown at least 2 inches. My hair is fine and colored and I never can get it longer than bra strap and now it'salmost to my my waist. I eat terribly and since I also have hormonal issues I wanted to try this. It is wonderful. I just bought my third pack. My nails are finally growing and I don't need to go get acrylics anymore, my hair has never been longer, healthier or better. This is a great product!

My hair grows slower than mollases. Seriously. I get it cut and it doesn't seem to grow even 2 inches in a year. I've tried biotin (10,000 mcg) and Maxi-Hair (can't tell a difference in length, MAYBE in health).

I tried Viviscal for about 4 months (reluctantly on and off, the most I did consistently was 2 months), but during those 2 months every hair dresser told me that I had TONS of new hair growth that could be seen when blow drying my hair. This happened within the 2 months on Viviscal.

Is it definitely Viviscal? I'm not sure. But top celebrities/models use it and it's recommended by celebrity hair stylists, so why not keep trying.

They're doing a promotion on Amazon right now that if you sign up to get it automatically every month it's only $30, rather than the $50 online/in stores.

I have been using this product faithfully for about 4 months. I take the extra strength formula twice a day.The directions say to take with food which I do. My health hasn't been the best and dealing with hair loss made things worse. This is the first time in quite a while my fine and thin hair has developed some bulk. It is thicker without a doubt..thank you my Higher Power! The only thing I is it is expensive. I search the internet when it's getting time to re-purchase to see who has it in stock and the price. The fact Tabatha recommended it on Dr. Oz helped me make the decision to try it. She's a tough as nails and no B.S. woman. I value her opinion.

I've been using this for almost 3 months now and it has definitely improved on the thickness of my hair.

Note that there are two formulas of this now, the Damaged Hair Formula and the Extra Strength Formula. I started out using the one for damaged hair and then switched about 2 weeks in to the extra strength formula. The extra strength is 2 tabs a day and damaged hair is one.

I continue to notice a lot new hair coming in, especially around my face where I first noticed the hair loss.

They don't make this claim, but I have also noticed a change in my gray. I do not have to color as often and it's not as noticeable.

I am very pleased with the changes I have seen in a mere 3 months.

This has been working for me. I've only been using it for a few weeks, but the peaks near my temples are disappearing (in other words, my hairline is filling). I mean, the hair there is obviously super short, but it's coming back fast. I don't think this would re-grow hair that was lost for hereditary reasons. I mean, it's basically just some secret vitamins and minerals combination, not medication. My hair tends to shed for hormonal reasons, though, so I thought it might help since I've finally gotten the hormonal issues under control. Like I said, I think it does help. I haven't been using it long enough to make too strong of a statement about it, but so far I'm pleased. You can find it for around $35 for a one-month supply, assuming you take it twice a day (which they recommend, and I've been doing). It's not cheap, but whatever is in it seems to be working. Like many fine-haired girls, I've always wished for thicker hair -- mine will probably never be really thick, but I think this stuff is helping to "maximize" what I have (growing faster, keeping it from shedding as much). I'll continue buying it.
