I also got this set at Nordstrom Rack, and even though I don't give the pencils a 5, due to my own experience, I'd still recommend trying them.
The colors are great, ranging from neutral champagne to electric blue, and the shiny, dewy finish they provide is very pretty. It's a soft, luminous glow that is hard to get from powder shadows because powders don't have any moisture content. And the colors Juju and Rehab are great for quick eye definition because they are smoky neutrals that can be applied and blended quickly. They are also smooth, but very firm. I've used them many times, and they don't look worn down. These pencils should last forever, and they are compact, so they fit neatly in a purse.
But for some reason, these pencils crease pretty badly on me. It may be due to my sunscreen that I admittedly apply quite liberally before my makeup (a must in Texas). I could use an eye primer to prevent this, but it's not foolproof, and I thought the point of these pencils was to last all day without an additional product to set them.
But I'd still recommend these pencils because YMMV.

A steal for 12 bucks at Nordstrom Rack. I may have to go back and get more this weekend for when these run out. I'm going to use sin, juju, and rehab all the time. Delinquent may see some play as a liner, but it's way to dark and sparkly for me to wear as an eyeshadow, unless I go over it with a really light purple to wash it out. Clash wont get used, except as a very occasional liner for days I'm not working, it's just too blue and bright. It reminds me of the 70's. Still, a solid set and introduction into the 24/7 shadow line.

This stays on the lower lash line for SIN it really stays but i aso use the darkest brown on my lids as well - not upper lash line/tightline.
it stays BUT after a week - i had dry irritated eyes. My friend whom i gave 1 colour to to try - also experienced the same irritation.
i have stopped it for the time being as it it can cause my eyes to smart & hurt so bad i have to close my eyes & not do anything else.
i have used it as eye shadow primer as an alternative BUt the irritation still stays- i will decommission it for face pencils for the kids to draw whiskers instead.

I love these. I got these a while back when they were originally $19. My favorite is JuJu I use it almost everyday as a primer. They're all very pigmented and creamy. All of the colors that come in this set are very beautiful, you get your neutrals and you also have 2 brighter shades.

I got this on sale awhile back at urbandecay.com for $12. At that price, this set is well worth the money. My favorite colors are Sin (looks just like the regular shadow) and Clash. These absolutely do not budge even in heat, humidity, and after 12+ hours of wear, even on the waterline! I was so shocked after a full day of wear at the beach the color had not moved from my waterline. I actually had trouble getting it off. I love the blue shade, Clash, and I sometimes wear it on my waterline for a summer look and it makes my green eyes really pop. The other colors are wonderful, too and the texture is really smooth and creamy. Application is easy with no brush needed. I did not notice any creasing or smudging, but I have only used them with primer on my lid (UDPP and Nyx).

Scored this at Nordstrom Rack for only $12, what a bargin! Been using Sin or Juju on my lids, no brush needed, so quick and easy. Without a primer, last on my oily lids for about 7-8 hrs. Amazing!

I did not realize how good this product is until today. I'm not very experienced with eyeshadows (usually just use pencil and mascara), but these are super easy to use and blend. The colors are lovely and their small size makes them easy to carry around. The creamy texture is easy to blend and stays on really well. I realized this today when I wore a combination of Sin, Juju and Rehab WITHOUT using primer. I put them on around 7AM and took them off around 11 hours later. I was outside during humid weather, played some sports with friends, and took a short shower. All while wearing the eyeshadow. When I looked in the mirror hours later, I expected to see a smudged mess. Instead, the eyeshadows stayed almost perfectly! There was only a tiny bit of smudge on the outer corners, but other than that, I didn't have to fix it at all. No creasing, good color intensity, and very minimal smudging despite humidity and sweat. Needless to say, I was very pleasantly surprised! They are also easy to take off with my Nivea Visage eye makeup remover. Overall, I have been extremely satisfied with this product.

These are FANTASTIC on the go. I like using these for the mornings when i'm in a rush and i can't be bothered with messy eyeshadow fallout or makeup brushes. It comes in five shades: juju, rehab, delinquent, sin, and clash. Juju, one of the three neutrals in the set, is a nice frosty taupe. Rehab, the second neutral in the set, is a darker slightly matte taupe, and then there's sin, a milky almost pink color that has a shimmery finish. This set also comes with two bright colors, clash and delinquent. Clash is a very vivid turquoise blue while delinquent is a deep, sparkly purple. My favorite combo when using these are rehab in the crease and juju on the lid. You have to blend really quickly when working with these because they set almost immediately after putting it on. Still, it goes on creamy and like a dream. I find that i don't need a primer when using these. I <3 em! ;)

I'm writing a review for a product I haven't tried yet- I just ordered two of these from the UD website- $9.00 each-can you believe it? I ordered one for myself and one as a gift- you can't beat this for price! Stay tuned for my review once I actually try them.
Update 4/24/12- I received these in the mail yesterday and I was like a kid in a candy store. The colors are great and they blend very easily. I would definitely purchase this again but I think UD must be discontinuing this product. They are small so they are great for traveling or just keeping them in your purse.

I love love these shadow pencils! I mainly use them as eyeliners and they work great! I think they're softer and glides on more easily than the UD eyeliners (which already are silky soft). The tip is rather thick for use as an eyeliner and it can't draw extremely thin lines but it works fine lining eyes with medium thickness. Another bonus is that it lasts longer between sharpenings thanks to the thicker tip!
Lasting power is on par with the regular UD eyeliners. Once set, they do not smudge easily. I use an oil-based makeup remover at night to take off my makeup and these liners are easily dissolved by that.
Overall, UD Shadow Pencils are great products and being in a set just makes them even more affordable!

I cannot begin to fathom how much I love this product!! I purchased this product on Urban Decay website for 9 bucks during an additional 20% off everything on the site. Its ability to last all day without smudging, its staying power (without primer!), and creamy consistency convince me to purchase 3 more! This make an incredible gift for birthdays.
I use this product as a primer. It does not crease at all! It holds my other eyeshadows too! Amazing!
I would purchase again!

I got this for $23.80 at Beauty.com and its now $12 at UrbanDecay.com. Whether its $12 or double the price its still a steal.
These pencils are what I wished NYX jumbo pencils could be. These 24/7 shadow pencils are about 1/2 the size of the NYX j/p but are really pigmented, smooth and don't budge. When you put them on you have to blend them out quicky because they stay put, even on the waterline.
"Sin" is a pink champagne shade that EXACTLY matches the powder eyeshadow. When the e/s and this pencil is paired, the results are outstanding. A dupe to this is NYX j/p in "Yogurt".
"JuJu" is a dark brown shade. Its similar to NYX j/p in "Iced Mocha."
"Rehab" is a dark brown plummy shade. Its interesting that this bears no resemblance to "Rehab" UD Cream Shadow (now discontinued). The old cream shadow was more taupy with a frosty/silver sheen. The new "Rehab" in the 24/7 pencil is similar to NYX j/p in "French Fries"
"Delinquent" is a dark purple shade with fuschia sparkles. The base color itself reminds me of "Psyschadelic Sister" in BOS III.
"Clash" is an electric blue with silver sparkles. I wished it was turquoise but what can I do? :( Its pretty anyway
"Deliquent" and "Clash" as mentioned before both have glitter and this pencil formula does not budge easily. Beware that they are difficult to remove from the waterline. Additionally, "JuJu" and "Rehab" are similar as they both favour deep brown but they are not the same. I would have prefered if a golden shade would have replaced one of them.
But overall I do not by any means regret my purchase. Cream shadows and pencils on the market are getting better in quality. Manufacturers are listening to the complaints about the creasing and many of the new formulations, including drugstore products deliver in terms of not creasing. This product is no different and these are a definite must have in anyone's collection.
Plus the regular full size is 2.8g and retails for $20 for one. This travel set contains 2.5 g per pencil (only 0.3g less than the reg size) and you get 5 in this set for less than the price of a full size one.

I orignally purchased this set when Hautelook.com had a sale, and I loved it so much that I purchased another set when Urban Decay had their friends and family sale! So, I got the first set for $12 and the second for $9.60. AMAZING DEALS! Also, these are almost the same size as the full-sized shadow pencils that cost $20 a piece.
Now on to the actual product, I really love these for their staying power. I can put these on my lids in the morning, without any primer (and I have super oily lids!), and they will not crease or budge for the entire work day. I do get some creasing after my evening workout, but that is to be expected.
My favorite color in the set is JuJu, which I believe is not available on its own, sadly. It is a nice frosted taupe color that looks good on my fair skin. Sin and Clash are probably my least favorite of this set. Sin in is too warm for my skin and does crease more than the rest of these. Clash is just not a color that I want to wear very often.

I ordered these from the Urban Decay website since they were having their sale and I just received them this weekend. They are beautiful and versatile. I like them because they are great on the go and they don't crease. Also the colos are gorgeous! I have a feeling I'm going to use the crap out of them! Great purchase!

These pencils are amazing. It makes my morning routine really easy, no brushes no clean up mess, no time. I swipe these on my lids and blend with my fingers. Sometimes I'll use only one color or two. I've used them with and without a base and still perform great. Also super easy to smudge on the lower las line. I like that look but cannot make it work without these pencils because I'm really not that talented at applying makeup, so this is why I love this product, makes it so easy. Finally, I do love that UD is a cruelty free line.

Just in case u missed the HauteLook deal on this, its now on sale on Urban Decay's website for $12!!!! Thats like a little over TWO dollars for one of these--such a steal. I have been using the 3 neutral shades daily. Juju over the entire lid smudged, sin on water line & rehab under my lower lashes half way for a wide awake, soft & elegant look. Delinquent I've used for a smokey look, clash is overtly bright for my NC20 skin but works as a good base for applying more wearable colors on top, especially because I wouldn't dare use up the other 4 shades for merely a base. Its so easy & quick to create multiple looks with these. I love how I can use them as a shadow, base or eyeliner & all without the need of even a brush. It takes a few secs to set, then doesn't budge but you have ample time to blend/smudge if needed. Grab them now while their cheaper than even most drugstore liners!

for mature ladies - the 27/7 liners are good overall
be careful about the glitter in them - choose colours carefully.
i liked the stash 1 with my blue/grey eyes but the gunmetal 1 there was a big fallout of glitter.
stayed on well with a primer underneath and go on
like a dream. i would like to try the browns now.
are expensive individually the travel sets in the uk
would be great if you knew your colours!

Got this set for a mere $6 - twas on sale + i used my ulta rewards $ too. I like the 3 neutral colors for a nice "safe" daily look, the purple is not really my style and i havent ventured to use the blue yet but i will try it one of these days. I like using them on days when i dont feel like using brushes- i just blend with my fingers but you have to blend fast because they dry fast. seem to last all day (over udpp). They are nice and soft and creamy BUT I have a regular size of one of them and its already dried out. Since the ones in this set are smaller sizes they shouldnt last as long and should be fine. I always keep mine shut and havent needed to sharpen yet but I have uds grind house dual sharpener so it should work fine. I compared sin vs sin pp and the shadow pencil one is darker/more peachy than the reg sin. (pic here) . I would repurchase this set but not any full size ones. Hope UD will come out with another set in different colors :)

I bought this on behalf of my mom, when they were full price (darn) and I actually love them as well. They are the perfect eye shadow and are pretty fool-proof...well except the blue (dont put on in the dark) because the color is SOOO bright. I love these, I am actually considering buying another for myself since they went on sale. I recommend, they are a great mainstay for your eyeshadow needs.
