I am in love with this product.
Its been a while since I came across such a wonderfully easy but so efficient product like this.
Phyto 9 is a nourishing day cream for ultra-dry hair containing some great ingredients like macadamia oil, calendula, sage, soybean etc. It is almost odourless however does have a slight soy/macadamia oil type smell, but its nothing overwhelming & NO artificial fragrance.
Its a leave-in treatment that can be used every day. A small pea sized amount is used. Rub it in your hands to warm it up & emulsify & then distribute through your hair.
I am so addicted I keep this in my makeup bag & although I dont use it every day, I do use it most days for some extra moisture.
HG product for sure - will never be without.

My HG leave in conditioner, gives my hair the extra moisture it needs & does not weigh my hair down. For reference, I have fine, thin, long, chemically straightened hair that is washed every day. I switched to this from Phyto 7 when my hair needed more moisture. It's expensive but I haven't found a cheaper comparable cone free leave in conditioner.

Amazing product! Even though it's not the cheapest you can get and it doesn't seem like there's much of the product in the tube, I've been using it over three months and still got like the half of the package left. After washing my hair, I put a little (size of a chestnut I'd say, but my hair isn't that thick) in my hair ends and rub it in. It really does magic with my thin and even somewhat sparse hair. After drying it's soft and healthy looking like with no other product. I definitely recommend this and will be getting another tube of this miracle.

I permed and coloured my hair. I tried many leave-in creams and serums. This Phyto 9 cream has no effect on my hair and is a waste of money though I applied 4 generous pea size of it each time. Kerastase leave-in cream and serum work better on my hair.

Heaven. My hair is in heaven... and I can hardly believe it was always right there in front of my eyes! My hair is soft, shiny, soft with out any frizz. But let me tell you, I kind of cocktail it up. I take a pea size of Phyto 9 and the tinest drop or 100% pure Argan oil and mix together in my palms. I smooth it in my ends. Then, for a little bit of silicone on top - I use Aveda Light Elements Smooothing Fluid (because it takes me forever to get through one). I love this stuff. I get not wanting to use tons of silicones, because my hair usually ends up just being coated but not moisturized. Moisture is key for my hair. Phyto is simply the bomb. I've tried tons of other leave-ins, but they were just not right. I miss Aveda's Elixir, but this is even better than that. I only use a pea size and I have enough hair for two people. My hair is shoulder length. Anyway, try it from somewhere you can return it just in case. but I am so happy to have found this little gem.

I have curly, fine yet a LOT of hair. My hair is past my bra strap in length and I can wrap a brand new hair tie around only twice (thickness). I have been bleaching/highlighting my hair for years and it was very evident. I was using Macadamia hair oil and I liked that, but it didn't seem to help with humidity and as a beauty junkie, I wanted to try something else anyway. What I really wanted was a light-weight super moisturizing product for my hair... this is what I got:
* It is super light-weight, and after rubbing together in my hands it does seem to go farther.
* I concentrate this on the ends mostly, and then work my up the lengths of my hair to about mid-shaft.
* I start with a dime size amount on just the ends, and then I add another dime sized amount to work on the lengths. So, in that respect, for the amount you get and for the price, it's very steep. Not worth it in my opinion.
* My hair is not noticeably "healthier looking" after using. My ends are still pretty crispy (yuck) and frayed looking (even after a trim only 2 weeks ago).
* It did add a subtle amount of shine, but I felt like I got more out of my macadamia hair oil in that regard.
* There is not a strong smell, it hardly smells of anything at all. Which is nice because it doesn't compete with other fragrant products.
* The metal tube packaging is something I am just not a fan of. I feel like I have to work so hard to try and move product from end to tip, and when there is a lot in there still, no matter where you squeeze it or how hard, if the lid is on it, be very careful the next time you open it. It will ooze out right away.
So, my overall feeling of this is a 3. Packaging is a (-), overall effectiveness on its own is = (meh), and the price is outrageous (-). I received a sample of the Bumble and Bumble invisible hair dresser's oil and I mixed it with the Phyto 9. The B&B product is wonderful on its own, but really enhanced when I mixed it with the Phyto 9 and it really maximized the effects. So, if you have it and don't want it to go to waste, I recommend using it with another hair oil. I think this would be okay if your hair is JUST dehydrated some, but with damage and dryness/dehydration, you are better off with something else in my opinion. Save your bucks. Invest in a nice leave-in conditioner, like "It's a 10".
p.s. I did try this both on dry and wet hair and neither produced results that were swoon worthy.

I am in LOVE with this stuff! Ladies please take my advice and buy! I have a ridiculous amount of bleach and color on my hair- on top of ultra thick, course curly/wavy hair! I hvaent been able to JUST blow dry my hair without using a flatiron since I began coloring my hair, and this stuff made my end (and the rest of my hair) so smooth! It also isnt loaded with plastic fillers and binders like some of the cheaper products from the drugstore- I am a drugstore junkie but not with my hair! It is a small container but you TRULY only need a pea sized amount- my hair has the thickness of a horse tail (haha) and is about to my bra strap and I only used a pea sized amount (when you warm it up in your hands it kind of spreads!) and VOILA! Gorgeous hair!!!! Give it a shot- I purchased at Sephora- the nice thing is if you dont like it you can return it! :)

This was the biggest waste of money. I have dry, curly hair and lots of it. I thought this would be good to give moisture to my ends specially on second day hair. It does absolutely nothing. If anything, my hair feels brittle after i've used it. and if I dare use it above my ends, it flakes. I tried it on wet hair, dry hair and made no difference. maybe it works on normal, healthy hair. But on my dry 3a curls, it was a bust.

I was excited to try this product, given so many rave reviews about it. I have colour-treated, dry, damaged hair, and was under the impression this product would add moisture and help heal my hair. It did absolutely nothing of the sort. In fact, I couldn't wait to wash it out. I felt like I had some kind of film on my hair, and it didn't feel soft, smooth, or healthy at all. (I applied about a dime-sized amount to damp my hair.) Don't know what all the hype is about. This product is ridiculously over-priced and does nothing beneficial for hair at all.

I have soft, baby fine hair. What I mean is I literally have hair like a baby. So shampoos and conditioners are hard for me to find- most shampoos are too harsh and most conditioners too heavy. After years of searching I've found my HG in hair care by using whatever light baby shampoo I can find (right now I am using a German brand called Hipp but it could change) and rubbing a hazelnut sized amount of either the Phyto 7 or the Phyto 9 into my shoulder length hair, focusing on the tips.
I also use the Phyto 7 and to be fair, I can't tell much difference between the two, so I just pick up whichever one is in the pharmacy that day.
I would be in hair care nirvana if they would bring back the Phyto baby shampoo.
One tube lasts me four or five months. Im a bad girl who washes her hair every day, so this is with daily use.

I love this product - it's not easy to find a leave in conditioner without silicones - but it is stupid expensive. I think the people who were disappointed in it are used to the results of a silicone product & perhaps they want a mirror sheen - I'm not going for that - I want some smoothing into curl definition & liveliness. I don't blow dry - I just work this into my hair after my shower w/ a little Ouidad Tress FX & I'm good to go.
I like that it is not too heavy on the moisture so there's no worry about greasiness.

I have long, very dry colour treated hair. Phyto makes it soft and shiny, without silicone or chemicals that weigh your hair down or turn it into a sticky mess. You only need a tiny amount to turn your hair smooth and shiny. Really like this.

I have damaged permed hair that feels really hard and straw like. When my hair was slightly damp I used about a nickel size for my medium-long hair (ends at top of boob) and let my hair air dry. My hair looked very voluminous and felt soft and full of body. I used to use Moroccan oil before this, I like this much better.

It makes your hair soft. It's best combined with a gel or some type of shaping lotion for style and anti-frizz factor. It's not going to keep your hair from being frizzy, but it is going to help the condition of your hair. If you look for it to do something other than what it's designed for, it is going to disappoint you. It says "nourishing" on the bottle, not frizz-tamer, heavy conditioner, etc. It's expensive because it's imported. In France, this stuff is found in every pharmacy and is not particularly pricey or exclusive. The euro is higher than the dollar currently, but don't go blaming Phyto for that..
I think the people who don't like this product are looking for it to be heavier than it is. But that's what is so great about it - that it isn't heavy and it makes your hair feel softer. I used to use this with phytodefrisant to calm down my curls naturally for a wavier style - with no heat products. This is a special product because it's healthy for your hair with NO silicones. I like both the phyto 9 & 7. I don't find the 9 that much more conditioning than the 7. Often I would alternate..
I do miss my most favorite Phyto product that got reformulated ~5 years ago - phytoplage moisturizing after-sun creme. Omg, it was to die for...

Did absolutely nothing for my hair, no moisturizing, nada. Had hoped that this would be enough and I wouldn't have to use any styling products, but not only was my hair still parched and straw-like it remained frizzy as well. Tiny tube for the cost, and the recommended pea-size amount is hardly enough to cover my shoulder length thick hair. Returning.

I was a bit disappointed by this. Phyto's Phytokarite deep conditioner is my absolute HG, so I bought this in anticipation of great things - but it's just...meh.
It's not bad, as such - I have given it two lippes because Iguess it perhaps make my hair feel a little softer and I like the fact that it is all natural ingredients and no silicon, but the results simply aren't amazing and don't seem to last very long at all. It makes no difference with frizz, especially with the humidity in Singapore where we live currently, and there are much better cheaper alternatives on the market.
Not bad, not great, just...not really anything, really! Won't be repurchasing.

Don't like the metal tube but after years of seeing this in various hairdressers salons thought I'd try it as have had no luck with drugstore/chemist buys and am at end of my tether.
So disappointed. Feels nice like a cream but then does nothing for my hair at all. Really surprised, it doesn't even make it greasy looking if I put more than the pea sized amount on. Such an expensive waste, my hairdresser used it on the ends of my hair before she blow dried and actually, they looked neat for two days but that isn't long considering it was a blow dry - she also used Philip Kingsley smoother cream which didn't work at all.
Gutted cos still looking for the perfect hair moisturiser and finishing product that will leave my hair smelling nice, non greasy, non-matt, piecey and soft with a bit of hold. Not too much to ask I don't think.

Used a sample, and it worked okay as a leave-in conditioner and detangler, but it didn't help with frizz. I did not notice any extraordinary effect, and at this price, I won't be purchasing a full size.

I received this as a free sample packet, and it is amazing! My hair is really damaged from coloring it and blow drying and straightening it every day. Since winter started my hair has been drier than normal, with it having a coarse texture and lots of tangles. I have medium thickness, fine, wavy hair. I use just a dab of this, not even a pea size, after I use the phytodefrisant and my hair is the softest its been in years.
It helps to detangle my hair and add shine, too. I knew it really worked when I saw my sister for the first time in a few weeks and she told me how shiny and pretty my hair looked. The price is steep for how much product you get, but seeing as how I use such a tiny amount it should last me forever. I have been using the sample packet every other day for about 2 weeks now and still have half of it left.
