I love this perfume, it is a great mix of all that I want in a scent: fresh and clean with an edge to it. Too often I find ladies perfume to be one sided (too floral, too powdery or too fruity to where I get sick of it the first day I wear/sample it) this one is a nice mix of all.

Warm, tropical, fresh, smell. I absolutely love it! The type of fragrance where you smell the clothes you had on the day before and savor how good the article smells. Kind of reminds me of how a warm tropical destination smells when you exit the plane and inhale the island air, this after you've just come from some dingy, dark, and cold place. Versatile fragrance that can be worn year round. A little pricey, but once you wear and enjoy, price becomes irrelevant.

Words can't describe how much I love this fragrance. It's very feminine, but also very clean and sophisticated. It's one of those rare fragrances that you can pull off in any season, in my opinion. The only down side is that the high price and tiny bottle are extremely difficult to justify if you don't have money to burn.

I give this a 3 not because it is bad just because I don't know if I personally would bother buying a bottle. I never find Michael Kors fragrances offensive in anyway. They all tend to be reasonably nice and pleasant floral fragrances. Island Bali is more of what I would call a summer fragrance but not so ridiculously so that you couldn't wear it in other seasons.

It is a light scent of somewhat sweet tropical flowers like pikake on a clean somewhat aqueous base. It is definitely a feminine floral fragrance. It is a island/tropical flower fragrance but not at all in a cloying or overly sweet. (There are also no hints of other notes associated w/ some tropical scents such as coconut, or suntan lotion etc.) It is reminiscent of a soft, fresh breeze w/ hints of pikake wafting through. The pikake is soft and light and airy and breezy and set as I said on a soft, airy, clean, almost "blue" base. It is not a heavy, creamy floral like his original Michael Kors - or a super sweet soliflore pikake like Child. It is like a fresh tropical flower fragrance. The floral fades on the drydown and it drysdown to a very soft, clean scent. Not at all unique , but pretty, feminine and completely unoffensive.
