This shade is a bright coral-red which pulls a bit pink on me (nc30ish, very pigmented lips). It also has tiny gold shimmer. It seems to lean warm, if I had to guess. It swatched very sheer on my hand but it somehow is more opaque on the lips. Most lipstick formulas burn, sting, and peel my lips, but Guerlain's Rouge Automatique formula really moisturizes lips. I still prep beforehand with balm but my lips feel comfortable all day, with repeated application. Lasting power is surprisingly good for such a moisturizing formula; it lasts roughly 3-4 hours for me. I would buy again, despite the steep pricetag, mostly because the formula is so moisturizing and the color so complex and unusual.

This is as wonderful as the other Guerlain lipsticks. It's moisturizing, wears forever, and is just beautiful. It is a coral red with teeny, tiny gold shimmer. Coque d'or is not completely opaque, but it's not sheer enough that my pigmented lips show through.

I received a sample of this at Sephora the other day and I kinda like it. I have never been able to find a pretty red lipstick for my skin tone and if this one was more opaque it would be the one. Its really smooth and is like a sheer red with tons of gold sparkles. I don't really wear lipstick so this one is gonna last me a while and i'm probably gonna use it a lot during the holidays but i wouldnt buy it.
