I picked this shade up a few weeks ago after reading some good reviews and seeing some really nice swatches. In contrast to other reviews, I was looking for a shade that was somewhat sheer, but with not sheen. Unfortunately, the formula is so streaky that it looks awful (IMO) with only two coats. I had to add a third just to level it out, making it almost opaque. Even then, it's just kind of a dull color (kind of looks like watered down milk). In the picture above you can see two coats of the polish on my nails. This was me trying very hard to apply it evenly, but you can still see some streaks (ignore the different colors on the edges of my nails).
I think it looks very nice in the other picture on the other reviewer. I don't like the color on me, even when it's opaque, but that has to do with my preference and my skin tone.
I'm torn, because, as other reviewers mentioned, this can be used as a base for glitter or other nail art; however, I think I would prefer using a less expensive polish for that purpose.

This is my first Butter London polish. It is beautiful in the bottle. It is beautiful on my nail for the most part. Except that it was really streaky. I tried applying it differently and it still went on streaky. Every time I applied it it looked like a big mess. So although a lovely color this is just not possible to wear and look classy. I also hated the brush. The handle of the brush is a little funny and I felt I could not get a good grip on it.

Extremely pretty white jelly nail polish that's fully opaque with no visible nail line at 4 razor thin coats and 1 thick self leveling coat (see pic of my mani above)
I like that it's not super stark. It's brightening and maintains a lady-like look. It reminds me of Cinnabon frosting.
Very easy formula to work with that dries quickly and self levels.
I would buy this again and recommend to a frend.

I had this color applied at the spa this past Saturday, and today is Friday and the first day that I noticed a slight chip on one nail. Great lasting polish and ladylike color. With three coats, it is an opaque, creamy white. Dries quickly. I've had BL Come To Bed Red on my toes for two weeks and still in excellent shape. I love BL nail polish. I can't wait to try the other colors that I've bought. Would recommend.

Butter London is an increasingly popular brand. I think this is an underrated colour hence the lack of reviews. It's a pale creamy white colour. It isn't perhaps the most exciting of colours but it's pretty and versatile. It's quite sheer so I don't think that you would get a completely opaque colour. Two coats gives a subtle finish. Three coats looks good. I haven't tried four coats but I think four coats would be as opaque as you could get with this one. I really like to use this on its own as a alternative to a subtle pink. I also like to use it as a base for some of Deborah Lippmann's glitters, especially Happy Birthday and Boom Boom Pow. So whilst it might not appear to be the most exciting colour I would buy this again as it's a nice alternative to an opaque white if you like the look of a white polish but are not wanting to go too stark.
