I don't usually write reviews but this one I felt like I HAD to. I hope to save someone a couple bucks. What a disappointment. I've tried at least 6 different brands and this one is hands down the worst one. It leaves a wet feeling I think that might be what people are saying when they had a greasy feeling from the product. After it "dries"?(not sure how else to explain it) it feels tacky all day. Within an hour hair feels greasy again.
I bought this because my HG Got 2 Be was out of stock and this was on sale. I ended up getting three and threw 2 of them away. And I don't throw things away! Hated it!

This stuff SUUUUUUUCKS!!
Made matters worse.

SO dissapointed! This product actually makes my hair more oily.

I felt like it didn't control the oiliness at all. And when too much was sprayed, it had a white powder, that you could work into it. I dont really have anything to compare it to, but hopefully I'll find something that works.

This product is just awful. It may take away a bit of the greasy look in your hair, but not much. It leaves a tacky film that makes my hair feel heavy and brittle. The smell is terrible and it smells powdery and like alcohol. It smells kind of like an old, cheap perfume you'd find in your grandmothers closet. Kind of like mothballs.
However, it does help me to tease my hair better on occasion. I have thick, healthy hair that refuses to tease with a comb and the tackiness of this dry shampoo spray is like a buildable hairspray that works well under a few layers of hair to build up volume.
I recommend using baking soda in your shampoo to remove this product. It can be hard to wash out with regular shampoo and the baking soda will scrub it away. Condition well afterwards!
I probably wont repurchase though.

I got this product for free and it wasn't even worth that. It made my hair look and feel dirty in a different way, gross.

I wanted to like this but it just wasnt working. It removed the oil but my hair feels like its coated in it. also the smell is really strong. i would suggest aveeno pure renewal

This product is a joke; it did nothing except leave my hair feeling even more oily. Please save your money and buy a better dry shampoo. I use the Batiste one and it works amazingly well :)

This is easily the worst dry shampoo I've ever used. This left my hair greasier than before I used it. I could actually feel the grease and residue left on my hair after spraying this, it was nasty. It did give me lots of volume for some reason but definitely not worth the dirty looking hair. I do like that it doesn't smell like chemicals like others (the original Batiste). Will never repurchase!

I do like this product, but I hate the way it leaves my hair feeling
Age: 44-55 Skin: Normal, Fair-Medium Hair: Blond, Wavy, Fine Eyes: Green
Full disclosure: This is my first dry shampoo, so I have nothing to compare it to. Secondly, I have very thin, very fine but highlighted hair. I basically can't skip a day of washing...so I thought this might be good for an -every-other-day kinda thing. Well, I lifted hair and sprayed root sections, waited the minute or two then rubbed my scalp and my hair looked much better and had lots of body. YAY! Though that is good, the next part isn't: My hair felt so heavy and just nasty. It looked and smelled clean, but it felt dirty still. As I said, this is my first dry shampoo, so maybe they all make you feel that way? I don't have comparison. But as of now, I would not repurchase this. I will use it up, cause it does seem to work, I just need to get over the heavy yucky feeling it's leaving in/on my hair. It still feels dirty.

I decided to give this a try because I cannot wash my hair everyday (I dye it) and it feels oily the next day. I tried this once, and did not like it at all. It made my hair more oily, but it did make it appear less obvious. Just make sure to shake it really vigorously before using it or you'll get a very strange scent. I'm going to try it again tomorrow morning to see if I just used it wrong or something BTW, I bought the one for Dry/Prone to Breakage.
A plus side is that it's very cheap and affordable. I paid $5 for this so if it turns out to be a bad product, it's not that big of a loss.

My review is for the "strengthtening/dry/prone to breakage hair" Fresh Start dry shampoo, my hair is fine and extremely dry with lots of bleach and dye damage and I wash it twice a week, this product is much better than Suave that I was only able to use once before the product dissapeared into thin air, with Tresemme I don't have that problem, my hair is dark medium brown and I don't see any residue or funny film coating my hair, I appy it to the underside of my hair and it gives me tons of volume, it smells really good and it does make me feel like I just washed my hair.

I happen to agree with the general consensus- worst dry shampoo I've ever used! This is no joke. Avoid, avoid. Made my hair flat and it remained oily. Suave Professionals Dry Shampoo is better by a long shot, and I believe cheaper, too.
(Tried to give this a ZERO overall rating with no success)
Age: 18 & Under Skin: Combination, Fair, Cool Hair: Blond Eyes: Blue
This dry shampoo is absolutely AWFUL! I would give it a zero rating if I could! All it did was make my hair feel heavy and look even oiler! It also leaves behind a really gross white residue. I really wish I hadn't got this. I will not be repurchasing!

I bought this product before I looked at any reviews... BIG MISTAKE. It left my hair feeling sticky and made it look oilier. For some reason I had the hardest time washing this product out of my hair. The only upside is that it smelled nice and didn't make my hair smell bad.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Normal, Fair-Medium Hair: Red Eyes: Blue
I felt that this just made it feel like my hair was even dirtier and less manageable.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Combination, Fair-Medium, Cool Hair: Black, Straight, Medium Eyes: Brown
There are two versions of this dry shampoo, I believe, one for oily/fine hair, and one for dry hair, I guess? I got the former and I think it is a pretty good product! I have black hair myself but I don't think it ever makes my hair grey. It does make your hair feel better. I think it is very important to REALLY SHAKE it before spraying and don't over apply it.
Age: 19-24 Skin: Dry, Fair-Medium Hair: Black Eyes: Brown
Really don't like this stuff...did not do anything to my hair. Feels like there is excessive product in my hair that did worse than good. My hair does look less oily but it feeling is way worse. I rather put up with the oily looking hair than this dirty feelings in my hair.
Age: 44-55 Skin: Dry, Medium Hair: Brown Eyes: Blue
It seems like most of the negative remarks about this product are from the younger age groups. I'm in my late 40's and I really like this product. I shampoo and blow dry my hair. Then at the roots I lift my hair up in sections and spray the UNDERSIDE of my hair. I don't spray it on TOP of my hair. It really gives my fine, thin hair body. For me it works better than root lifters. I usually don't spray my whole head, just the crown. Hope this helps some of you gals with fine, thin hair. My hair tends to be on the oily side so it also helps it stay oil-free throughout the day. I will continue to use this product and hope they don't stop making it.
