I will not be repurchasing. In fact, I returned this. I got it for 19.99 at marshalls and returned it the very next day. Very cheap smelling. The summer edition is even cheaper smelling. Beyonce Heat is wayy better than these craps. The bottle is beautiful tho.

I have Heat Rush (purple bottle) and it's 1000 times better smelling than this. This smelt so bad, I can't explain it, like some cheap knock-off perfume. My sister bought it for me and I gave it back to her, I didn't even want to keep it that's how much I couldn't stand it. The only nice thing about this perfume is the bottle..even though it holds the perfume upside down

I know that all fragrances smell different on different people because this does not sit well on my mother or sister but it smells lovely on myself and I get tons of compliments whenever I wear this. It has a nice citrusy smell once you spray it on and it fades into a nice vanilla smell. It is light and feminine and perfect for the spring and summer time, I wouldn't use this as a winter or fall scent but I definitely like this. It isn't that expensive either thank god since perfumes are so overpriced now. My only gripe about this perfume is the packaging, the lid falls off very easily and the bottle is really chunky and unbalanced so it falls over a lot and isn't that great for travelling, but I did get a small travel bottle for a reason lol. I would recommend this if you like citrusy scents.

I love this! The scent seriously makes me think of one of those orange gelatin molds with the vanilla creme in them (parfait?) yumm :] the dry down is more on the vanilla side though but overall a very pretty fragrance for springtime.

I liked heat rush, but it didn't last for crap on me, it was like a body spray... and when I smelt this I thought It may be better... WRONG. I sprayend it on the back of my hand and altho it smelt okay it kept getting worse as I wore it... finally it eventually faded away... it is a little zesty for my taste... the bottle is a hot mess, the plastic lid looks and feels so cheap and clunky and looks ugly in the case... Beyonce I dont know what it is but you're fragrances are very forgetable...

At first I got a bright, crisp pear with sparkling citrus. Very fresh and pretty and just what I was looking for on a hot day. The liqueur notes, if that's what it is, though it smells to me almost like an aldehyde in the sparkle and flash are stronger than the florals which are hinted at more than represented. Then it dried down and the base notes came in and mucked it all up. The vanilla/wood/musk base is heavy, sticky and cheap smelling and ruined it entirely. If it was only the top notes, I'd buy this one. As it is, I had to scrub it off once those sticky, muddy notes showed up.

This smells like vanilla and oranges and... fabric softener. Nice, but not something I'd wear. It'd make a good bathroom air freshener.

I like Beyonce's Pulse more than her previous scents, which, although very pleasant, are heavy and more suitable for fall. As someone who loves light, sweet and slightly warm scents, Pulse is the clear winner for me. The scent opens with a burst of pure, STRONG citrus; it smells like oranges to me rather than the pear that's listed in the notes. After the initial burst of citrus, a slight aroma of powder settles in, but it eventually dries down to a full-bodied warm and spicy scent, which lingers for the duration of the scent. I attribute this spicyness to the liquer and bergamot notes. The florals in this scent are super subtle, almost undetectable. The florals merely balance out the spice, keeping it from being too gourmand and heavy. Overall it has decent lasting power (it stayed on my clothes for about eight hours, although it faded from my skin after about four hours). This scent is quite delicious and unique. I hope to pick up a full-sized bottle soon.

This is delicious! On my skin it smells like a big fat orange creamsicle and I love it for smelling like that.
It's all about the curacao, vanilla and bergamot. I smell nothing else. Make sure you try on skin because on paper it turns too sweet and powdery.
Sillage and longevity are average.

Beyonce... I had such high hopes for your third perfume. I like the smell in the bottle. I agree with the other reviews that there is a a strong, sweet powdery note and it was headache inducing. At least it has good staying power.

To my nose and on my skin, Pulse smells very similar to Estee Lauder Sensuous Nude. It has coconut mixed with baby powder and a hint of flowers in the mix. Not as horrible as her first two efforts but not memorable either. Keep going Beyonce as I'd love to see you deliver a real winner!

I dislike all of her fragrances and this one is no exception by far the worst. First wiff smelt like a peppery zest as if someone sliced open an orange and added pepper..wait for it..then a wiff of baby powder AWFUL.

I laughed so hard when I first saw this and then I smelt it and bought it on impulse. Other people like it but it smells like cheap deoderant to me that has been sprayed in an attempt to cover up BO. Goes to show I should not buy things on impulse... (Which is a little bit like what it resembles.)

The top notes are delicious. Reminds me of licorice but very pleasant and soft and interesting. Then this fades quickly into a light version of Armani She or Cashmere mist. I really wish the top notes lasted longer, tho I would buy just to respritz. I do feel a bit sad that no perfume smells new to me, but if you like those others I mentioned, but want a lighter version, this would certainly fit the bill. The bottle is pretty but a bit awkward.

Pulse is very different from the Heats. Its blue liquid shows a clear contrast to Heat and Heat Rush, which are a sort of sticky-sweet scent. Pulse is cool and fresh, but still sweet. It's not aquatic or green, but it does remind me of a nice tropical ocean. The notes are described by the official website as a citrus, floral gourmand. I do not capture much floral, but a zestiness is present, though not overwhelming. Pulse is a refreshing scent of fruitness that manages to remind me of glorious summer days without the traditional pineapples or coconuts. It lasts about 5 hours, the packaging is cool. I wouldn't buy it again because I can't imagine it becoming a signature scent. I will get lots of use out of it in the summer, though.

Pulse is an unexpectedly soft, gentle, interesting combo of pear-dominated tropical fruitiness that quickly blends to a luscious powdery sweet vanilla--tinged with a hint of fresh pear. Just lovely! My newest signature scent :-) It's heavenly!

I've never tried Curacao liqueur, so I don't know anything about it, apart from the fact that it is flavoured with laraha fruit; which I'm also unfamiliar with. To me the alcoholic note is rich and creamy and Baileys-like. The soft fruits combine with the creaminess and overall the resulting effect smells just somewhat similar to a Pina colada. I'm not sure if there are notes of pineapple and coconut in PULSE or if that is laraha. The boozey note does last for most of the perfume's wear, so turn back now if you don't like alcohlic notes in your perfume. I can also catch a watery pear note, but the bergamot remains undetectable to me.
Bluebird orchid has apparently never been used in perfume before, so I'm not sure what to look out for, but PULSE does become a slightly bit spicy after twenty minutes or so. Most orchids in perfume are vanilla, chocolate or spice based, so I think that I'm on the right track. The only floral note that I can place with any kind of certainty is the jasmine note, but it does seem a bit watery and underdeveloped - the reminder of the pear note does dilute everything. I think that I can get a bit of peony too, but I don't know if that's meant to be the orchid or not, so it is a bit of a guessing game.
The base is a bit dull compared to the first few hours of PULSE, as it's the standard vanilla, sandalwood and breeze of musk mix. A bit of the Baileys/Pina Colada does stick around for a bit, so there is a bit more life for most of PULSE's wear.
Official scent notes: Pear blossom, bergamot, Blue Curacao liqueur, Bluebird orchid, peony, midnight blooming jasmine, Madagascar vanilla, musk and precious woods
As the floral notes are largely underdeveloped, its no shock that the lasting power of PULSE isn't the best around five hours, on average. Not great, but it's a step up from Heat and Heat Rush.
I was underwhelmed by Heat and Heat Rush, so I wasn't expecting much from PULSE as a result and wasn't going to bother trying it. But, after receiving a bottle for my birthday, I can admit that I've been pleasantly surprised. The alcohol note gives this fragrance a uniqueness and kick that the two Heat releases lack.
