Far too slick for my liking.

I realize that eyeliners need to have the ability to smudge but they shouldn't smudge right off! I am assuming that this thick/oily formula is supposed to assist in lash growth, but it is a sacrifice I am not willing to make.

Absolute no-no for people with oily lids (or maybe just people in general- please, don't waste your money).

An average DS brown liner. Formulation is similar to UD 24/7 eyeliners, very creamy and smudgy. Wears well on my lids but not on the waterline.

I've only tried this a couple of times, but the wear time isn't amazing, even using an eyeshadow primer underneath. The liner goes on exceptionally smooth and creamy, but it seems to disintegrate several hours later leaving only a barely visible smidge at the lashline. I'll try again using a powder eyeshadow to set, although other products of this ilk (UD 24/7) don't absolutely require it. My eyelids are notibly on the dry side too. Because of the soft consistency of the pencil, it wears down quickly and will need to be sharpened frequently as well.

This is a beautiful rich brown color that is extremely easy to apply. I thought it wasn't going to be very long lasting because of how smoothly it glides across my lids, but that isn't the case. It's also a good eyeliner if you like to layer eyeshadow on top because it creates a good base for that. I have no idea if it helps your eyelashes grow, but the smooth formula certainly could help moisturize the base of your lashes, helping to keep them strong for longer. The biggest drawback of this is how difficult it is to sharpen.

This is creamy, dark and has AMAZING staying power. It smudges out if you want it to while still keeping color. I love this so much. I got it on sale for 2 dollars and want to go buy more!

This very dark brown shade applies smoothly and very opaque, highly pigmented. It appear almost a rich dark chocolate brown. This liner did not fade on me after the work day, still was about 100% still there and about 90% as vibrant as in the morning, which is very good performance for a drug store eye liner. I recommend these as a quick and cheap basic brown liner.

I cannot speak to the lash growth claims, as I use a lash growth serum already. I feel like it is very similar in creamyness and color to the Cover Girl Liquiline Blast eyeliner in Brown. Both pencils need to be sharpened often in order to maintain a point because of how creamy they are.

I really like this eyeliner. I prefer creamy gel eye liners that do not tug on the eyelid..Espresso is a rich dark brown, very opaque. I only use this on my upper lid area. It glides smoothly across and lasts all day on me. I do not notice any growth in my lashes. Also, I have no irritation from this product. This performs just as well if not better than Urban Decay 24/7 liners and costs way less.

I really wanted to like this liner but, like a few people have already stated, it irritated my eyes and made my eyelids swollen and puffy. It was horrible. There is something in the ingredients that, apparently, does NOT agree with some people. It's too bad they can't change this to a hypoallergenic forumla and remove whatever the irritating ingredient is, because otherwise this liner is excellent - goes on smooth, rich pigment, long lasting.
I'm very sad that I had to return this. :(
I gave it 2 lippies instead of 1 because it really IS a great liner - IF it doesn't make your eyelids swell to the size of eggs.

I purchased this product because I wanted a good brown eyeliner; I think it's a bit more suitable for me than black is. It does do good on the lash line like it claims, though it works horribly on my waterline, so if you're looking for a good liner for your waterline, I wouldn't recommend this. Overall, though, it's a good eyeliner considering it's from the drugstore. Goes on super smooth too!

I was in need of a new eyeliner because I had run out of my usual black Neutrogena nourishing eyeliner and was looking for a longer lasting, more pigmented liner. I rushed to look in the Walmart makeup section, and saw this one in Onyx. I liked the metallic packaging of it and the pencil form of the tip. When I came home I was excited to put it on, so I did. I was really impressed with the color payoff and pigmentation and the creamy, soft feel of it. I lined my waterline as well and was impressed. I decided to leave it on through a movie, and within 15 minutes, my eyes started to really irritate, me, like an eyelash stuck in your eye. I kept on getting up from the movie to look in the mirror to see if the lash-growing formula had suddenly sprouted an eyelash in the wrong spot, but could find nothing. When the movie ended, my eyes were burning, and I couldn't take it so I washed my face. The liner was also beginning to smudge, anyway. My eyes felt very relieved as soon as that was done. The next day, I decided to only wear it on my upper lid, but had the same reaction. I also noticed that the tip wore off fast, and there was no way to get it through. I read some reviews later that had the same eye reaction, and complaints about the tip. I tried my MAC sharpener, but it ended up ruining the tip to the point where the liner could not even really be considered a pencil anymore. It was practically mutilated and useless, so I threw it out. It was $7, and I only owned it for 2 days, so that was a real waste of money. Until I find a really great, cheap, liner I'll be going through money guilt because I'm practically broke.

Such a love/hate relationship with this eyeliner. The shade is really nice, and I'm pretty sure it made my eyelashes longer than usual, but application is SUCH a pain! It's weird because it worked really well the first week or so, but then it looked like I let a toddler do my eyeliner, and then let that toddler wipe his or her messy fingers in random spots on my face. The problem lies in the smudginess-it's a bit of a double edged sword- because the same thing that helps it glide on and blend really well can also lead to serious raccoon eyes if you're having an off day. I've resorted to applying it with an ecotools eyeliner brush, which gives me more control, but it also adds another step to my already time consuming makeup routine. I also strongly suggest getting one of those sharpeners that cap off the end of the sharpener, because it wears down faster than any other pencil I've ever seen, but all in all it's a nice product, especially for the money, because it's really easy to find a coupon or a sale, and it actually does a lot for lashes.

I have the color Onyx. The color is fantastic! Pure black. It glides on very easily and seems to be of stunning quality.
My only complaint is that I wish it was in a different form-- this type of pencil makes it hard to sharpen "sharply", making it difficult to control precisely.

I really wanted to like this product. Awesome pigmentation, glides like a dream. BUT. It clogs my pores! I get a white blemish on my upper lash line at the end of the day that hurts. Not fun. Will not buy again. Plus it is not an automatic liner and expensive.

As soon as I had finished applying to my waterline, my eyes began to tear very slightly. Not the most comfotable. Within 1-2 hours, I had smudge marks on my upper lid and mild raccoon eyes. Definitely not for the oily-eyed gal. Am disappointed as there were plenty of good reviews here about this liner. Will go back to my gosh waterproof liquid liners.

This is a fantastic product! I'm always on the look out for new pencil liners, and lately have been finding that my usual ones drag the skin and irritate my eyes. I picked this up in a promotion. The first time I applied it, I fell a little in love. This glides on like something in a dream - no dragging involved. It's so soft, if I wasn't physically applying it, I would have trouble believing it! And despite all that, the pigmentation is fantastic - a deep, dark line that stays put for hours and hours without smudging or wearing off. When it comes to removing it, normal makeup wipes, or plain water, do the trick admirably. The only thing I will say is that it seemed to cling a little more to my lower lashline (no more than other liners though), but since these days I am trying to avoid lining my lower lashes due to irritation, this bugs me not in the least.

Price-wise, it's a touch more expensive than my usuals (Rimmel or Maybelline), but still affordable at high-street prices, and Boots/Superdrug constantly have 3for2 or BOGOF promotions, so I never feel the price is too excessive. Plus, it lasts for ages. And, to be honest, if it works, the price is well justified!

I have no clue as to the lash-growing aspect of it, and since that was not my primary reason for buying it, I am not too bothered. Frankly I doubt it would be that easy to grow or strengthen your lashes while applying any kind of makeup, but as far as simple lining goes, this is by far the best I have tried. For an eyeliner addict like me, this is definitely my current HG. Much, much recommended.

First off I really like the color. A deep dark brown that has no real red undertones that some browns can have, which can make eyes look tired. Went on super smooth, and the tip of the pencil still retained it's shape. Acts like a gel eyeliner but in pencil form which makes application so much faster Lasts all day with no irritation to my eyes. Plus it's paraben free. Love it!

These are really great! They are better than UD 24/7 liners, IMO. These are highly pigmented, stay on very well, and smudge out nicely if you'd like to do that. These are $8 or so at ULTA, probably less at Target and Walmart. Thus far, they come in four colors: black, brown, metallic grey, and an emerald-blue color (it looks more blue than green, but is called Emerald). These are very smooth, very pigmented, and really stay put nicely.
