This stuff is amazing. It makes your face feel instantly fresh and it does keep it nice and plump, even in the winter time. I use this every morning after cleanser and hydrating toner, and it makes my skin so soft and even. I have pretty sensitive skin and this doesn't irritate it one bit.

I live for this stuff! It really is amazing. I have super sensitive skin, I can break out really easily and haven't had any problems with this serum. I've been using it for about 8 months and have had no negative reactions. I truly believe this makes my skin more radiant. It feels less dull and I do get compliments! It might not be for everyone since it is orange scented. If you just bought this, I would suggest giving it some time. It doesn’t work overnight, but I honestly believe it works. A little goes a long way. I use a pump at night along with the African red tea foaming cleanser and sheer transformation cream. Love Ole products!

I've never, ever put a new product on my face and woken up with a million zits...
I'm not 100% sure that this is what caused my massive breakout, but I've even got a bunch of tiny inflamed bumps on my forehead. And I haven't had a zit on my forehead since I was fifteen.
My cheeks are covered in tiny red pimples as well as normal regular pimples (NOT the painful, deep cystic hormonal acne I am prone to.) I have probably 30 of them on my face right now.
I hate when people post reviews like this--it doesn't necessarily reflect badly on the product, it just didn't work with my skin. It's not you, Truth Serum, it's me. But I thought I'd post this anyway since this has never happened to me before--maybe there's some ingredient in here that's known to cause acne.
In any case, my dark spots as dark as ever, but my skin sure is soft.

I have tried two other C serums in the past, fisrt was Avons Anew which I used years ago. I loved it but it was a bit pricey for Avon. Just recently I had picked up Lumene from Walgreens on clearance, it was slightly less effective than Anew, but since it was on clearance it was dirt cheap, but I also can no longer buy it. As I enter my mid thirties I decided to take my skincare routine more seriously. I started a routine at 21, but it was just cleanser, SPF for day, and usually a light moisturizer in the PM. My skin has been looking a little dull, and I have developed under eye circles. Yes this is pricey, espcially for someone like myself who has only used drugstore skincare products. I look at it as an investment in myself. I like the texture of this a lot better than Lumene as this does not leave a sticky/tacky feeling on my face It has a very pronounced fragrance like most Ole products so that might be something to consider if you are sensitive to such things. After several days of use my skin is smoother and brighter. Thus far no irritation either.

First off, the only reason I would not buy this product again is because the price is way out of my budget. But if you have the funds and want a fabulous complexion then this is a great product for you! The smell was a bit overwhelming at first but I have gotten to like it! Smells like oranges. I am 20 years old but I am a constantly stressed and sleep deprived person so I am already showing signs of aging and i'm not diggin' it. I do all I can to prevent the inevitable but sometimes you need a boost. This is THE boost. The vitamin C really has helped to fade old dark spots a bit and has really brightened my skin! I put it on a clean face every evening before bed(I should say morning since I never sleep before 2!) and the very first time I felt a change the next day! My skin was softer and looked more awake. I had no bad reaction to it but i'm not sensitive. I love the packaging too because it is a nice and sanitary pump! I really don't get why companies think that jars and pots are sanitary.... anyways it is a great product for those looking to prevent the slow and steady process of turning into their mommas. It is also good for the mommas that wanna look like their daughters again! great product, terrible price!

This serum works wonderfully for my combo skin.
Smells like an orange grove, I love putting it on my face.
It absorbs quickly and easily; two pumps is all I need to cover my face.
I've noticed over the last couple months a reduction in my dark spots and acne, and an overall smoother and brighter complexion.
Very pleased, most def will buy again.

The smell of this is really strong, stronger than any other OH products I've used in the past. I don't know why my face needs to smell like those diabetic orange creamsicle candies (sorry for the odd reference - I worked in a nursing home for years) This stuff dried out my skin and irritated it to a point that is beyond acceptable for me - especially for the lack of results.
The entire time I was using this, my face would turn bright, bright red with rash-like scattered patches around my neck and cheeks (which I find odd because I've used SAP serums and never had a reaction, and since switching to PC's C15 have no issues with irritation whatsoever). I liked the gel-like fluid consistency which makes it easy to spread and absorb quickly, but the negative side to that texture is the stickiness that comes with it. It seems to flake off a bit, and pill when I put anything over it. I used this on my neck and face and my skin would feel super tight, and really dehydrated and be flaking by noon, so I decided to switch use to night time only but the tightness and dryness never went away. I would wake up with uncomfortably dry skin, and I don't even have dry skin. I think it may have helped with some post-breakout marks but nothing major, and nothing I wanted to address by using a C serum.
Overall - if you have sensitive skin/are sensitive to fragrance be careful with this one. I'm sure it may work for some, but this didn't work out for me. I prefer the C15 - it lightened the darkness around my eyes and got rid of my sun damage "freckles" on the tops of my cheeks. The OH didn't give me the results to justify buying it ever again, and the scent was too irritating for my skin.

I am ambivalent about this product. While it was gentle on my skin and did not irritate it, there are a lot of cons about it as well. It was sticky and difficult to apply; a lot of product comes out with the pump, so that makes it even more difficult to apply evenly onto my skin; and there was strong citrus-y smell. I have been alternating this product with another serum (Clinique's repairwear...whatever) serum and sometimes with a maracuja (sp?) oil serum. Perhaps lack of consistency is the problem, but after the 6 - 7 weeks of using this product, I have not noticed any great difference in my skin. This product is not particularly cheap, ether. I think I will save my money and try something else, or stick to the maracuja oil thing, and see how that works out for me. Oh well, you live and learn; at least it did not worsen condition of my skin.

This brightens my oily skin without clogging my pores or causing breakouts. I will say that I previously used another vitamin c serum from a higher end line that I adored, but I couldn't justify the cost. This product is very reasonably priced as far as serums go and I stock up at Sephora during the 20%-off Beauty Insider sale. I use it every morning and it is the one item in my beauty regimen that is a constant.
