I just love the 3 colours in this. I own quite a few different L'Oreal eyeshadows and I have to point out I don't find this eyeshadow as soft as my other L'Oreal shadows. Application is still quite good, and the colours have decent pigmentation. There is some shimmer (not glitter) but it's not over the top. This is great for traveling or to keep in your purse as it's so compact. I really love the packaging of this.. Especially the really cute hidden applicator. I personally think this would look great on all skin tones and all eye colours. If you're after a plum eyeshadow, this is worth checking out.

On the back of this circular trio tub, L'Oreal tell me this mauve/plum/neutral dial of shadows is for green eyes. I'm not sure why L'Oreal insists on narrowing the audience for each product, but I pay zero attention to such prescriptive idiocy. Sure, the plum in these shadows will make green eyes pop, but it also makes my blue eyes look dark and navy in colour - a pleasing pairing with my blond hair and fair warm skin, and I bet brown eyes would look glorious with this trio too - nutty and golden.
The texture of these shadows is quite soft - not to the level of my favourites by Urban Decay or Guerlain, but better than Revlon, Estee Lauder and Elizabeth Arden. The pigment is strong, and not too shimmery, which can be an issue with L'Oreal's trios and quads. There is a small amount of glitter, but it's subtle enough for this to be appropriate for work and for the more mature lid.
One can achieve a neutral-warm plummy look with this - something polished and un-bruised. I also like it to warm up or add interest to a smoky eye, and the best bit is that it doesn't irritate me like some shadows can.
