I'll admit it. I'm obsessed with pigments and ELF. I have a TON of mineral eyeshadow pigments and there are some hits and misses. This one is definitely a HIT.

I foil all of my mineral/loose eyeshadows for intensity and lasting power and I highly recommend doing so with these ones. Worn dry, they are flaky, unpigmented and just bad. But add a mixing medium (my favorite is Pumpkin & Poppy's Foiled Again) and ka-pow! These are pigmented and long lasting little buggers.

I wore the teal one yesterday for about 10-12 hours and I had ZERO creasing or fading. Unbelievable for a $1.50 product.

The nude color is not very nude at all, more of a deep/tan nude if you ask me, but still beautiful nonetheless. Kind of reminds me of MAC's patina.

Golden Goddess is a very unique gold shade in my opinion. It's quite orangey/bronze and would look amazing in the summer with a tan. It's not too bold for an everyday/office-appropriate look either. I've worn it with a soft taupe/brown in the crease and it looked wonderful.

I'm absolutely thrilled with these and will continue to show them lots of love.

I have this in golden goddess and the shade is really pretty! Only problem is the packaging. When you open and close the lid the shadow flies everywhere!! I mean EVERYWHERE. It gets on your clothes, the sink, all over. And that's a waste of product. But I still like the eyeshadow, E.L.F. is a great brand.

I like this product.

I was able to purchase it half off, so I paid less than $3.00 for it. I have a vibrant purple and a gold and I have no complaints. The product is very wearable, buildable and very pigmented. The packaging is great - the lid isn't going to fall off during storage or become loose, like some pigment and mineral shadow packaging.

Comes with a sifter that can be easily removed. I was searching for a vibrant, purple pigment and I found it. I did a look with this product yesterday and feel that the product fully delivers and for the price, it's a great value.

I LOVE this eyeshadow! I have it in Golden Goddess and I love it! It is very pigmented and you can build the color up easily. However, it is fairly hard to get the "powder" out of the container.

This is a lot of bang for the buck. The color is great, the lasting power is great, and it's easy to apply. The only complaint that I have is that the sifter container isn't working out, it doesn't allow enough of the "powder" to come out at all, I have to tap the back of the container repeatedly and I still only get a small amount to come out.

I bought the mystick moss and passionate purple and I must say I was really surprised as to how pigmented they were. Those two are very pretty colors. I absolutely love both colors.

I bought this eye shadow in the color Passionate Purple & Golden Goddess from the E.L.F website for $3 which all in it self is a steal, but what is even better is the fact that it actually works, and works well! I used this eye shadow with an eye shadow base from NYX and it worked really well together. My eye shadow defiantly stayed put and it had tons of pigmentation which I loved. The color seemed dark when it was in the container, but once I applied it I noticed you can control how light or dark you want the shadow to be. Even if you put the shadow on full force like I had it, it still looked beautiful for a day or evening look. It also really brought out the green in my eyes even though my eyes are suppose to be brown. I went out shopping the first time I put this shadow on and I got compliments on how beautiful the color of the eye shadow was. Great purchase all in all! Nice little glass container (be careful not to spill because it can get messy) and inexpensive for the quality you get. The only stupid thing is that little brush that comes with it. It's pointless, but not like that really matters. I would defiantly buy it again. I'm wanting to try the Golden Goddess shade since I've heard really good things about it.

I decided to try the new Studio Pigment Eye shadows. I have always liked the e.l.f. mineral shadows, but find them a little too glittery for my daytime look. I don't have to feel guilty for not wearing them all the time since I only paid seventy cents each. The Pigment Eye Shadow is a good value for $1.50 when you have a 50% off coupon code.

The pigment eye shadow is completely different. The packaging is great. You open the lid and lift the plastic cap. So, no need to remove the plastic covering or punch holes in the plastic cover. Do be careful when you remove the plastic cap, because it will be messy if you drop the container. I sit at a vanity and always keep a towel on my lap to ward off mishaps. I like the consistency of this product ~ it's a fine, very soft powder formula and it's easy to apply. I wear a white base underneath, so it does keep the shadow going a little longer.

Now, the negative issues are the colors that I chose. Innocent Ivory looked like your basic off white shadow to highlight your brow or inner corner of your eyes. Not true, this shadow turned pink iridescent on my eyes. It was not the look I was going for. Magical Maroon looked like a dark, plummy brown on the website, and I do know that e.l.f's swatches never look the same. When I applied Magical Maroon, it looked like I had painted my eyelids red. I tried to find some solutions in my makeup bag of tricks and decided to add NYX French Fries Jumbo Eye Pencil, which did help to rectify some of the damage.

I like the consistency of the eyeshadow and had I made better color choices, I think I would be able to wear this product. None of the other shades are appealing to me, so I doubt I will buy this product again...I'll wait for more reviews, so that I won't be the guinea pig for the other colors.
