I love this lip color! I'm new to this whole lipstick thing, I never knew what colors went with my skin tone so I just stayed away and settled for lip balms. My friend had this and tried it on me and I loved it! It's a nudey pink. It gives color but is subtle enough to make me feel comfortable wearing it. It is a matte color and can be a bit drying, so I usually apply a lip balm and let that sink into my lips before applying this. I also really love the fact that it's a twist up and I don't have to sharpen it. I also love that it's refreshing and minty.
It's a bit pricey. I wish I would have snagged one of those sets they had around the holidays. I'll keep an eye out for more, I'd like to try different colors.

I love the smell, the feel, and the color . . . Well, on the tube, anyway. I normally go for the nudes, but this color does not look good on me. Too orange. I'm going to exchange it for a different color.
Also, unless I love the next color I get A LOT, I probably won't repurchase because of the price. I don't mind paying top dollar if I'm absolutely in love, but only then.
Besides the color and the price, I like everything else about it.

I got Exposed in a Christmas set with other Lipsurgences, and I have to admit, I would not spend full price on this, BUT I'm very happy with the actual quality of the product.
Exposed is a satiny matte pink-based, nude beige. It looks natural, but polished, and I love the peppermint scent and velvety look and feel of this lipcolor. It's matte, but not heavy and dry. I also like the chubby pencil shape. It's a nice change from the classic lipstick bullet.
The packaging is also pretty and practical–the tube is the same color as the product, so you can spot it easily in a pile of makeup.
Exposed goes great with my fair skin and dark blonde hair, and it would probably work for a variety of colorings.

I got this color in a set because I refuse to buy just one for 20 something dollars so I bought a set of 5 and the color exposed came with it and I'm so happy it did. It's the perfect nude for my NW-15 skin. I am super pale but when I do a nice purple smokey eye this color looks great with it. I do put a little Buxom gloss over it but it lasts quite a long time and I get a lot of compliments when I wear this color. If your fair skinned this will be great on you.
It lasts through eating and drinking and it doesn't dry my lips or go on streaky at all. In fact the color is smooth and creamy and applies like a dream. It's peppermint scent makes you want to put it on even though I find it's still on. It will last through drinks and snacks but you would need to reapply after a full meal. I think that's pretty good for a matte tint.
I use this color all the time and I really recommend this to fair skinned girls who want a true nude lip. Will repurchase because it is the perfect nude to me.

I dumped this product in the garbage after several months. I tried my best to make it work but it dries my lips out and has poor staying power. And it applies in a streaky manner. And it's just awful to use. One of the few make-up products I actually grew to hate. Sorry, but I wouldn't recommend it. I love the Revlon versions, which I find to be better quality.

This review is for the color Hope. Best lip product ever for me. I am very fair and like a natural look. I normally don't wear lip color because lipstick looks fake and gloss is sticky and messy. This color is just a tad more than my natural lip color, very natural looking. I look nicer while wearing it, and people aren't sure why. Subtle but an improvement. And it is vegan!

I tried this on on my last visit to Sephora. I applied it carefully and conscientiously because I wanted to see how it performed, and a quick dab doesn't hack it when you're road-testing l/s. Anyway, after meandering about the place for some time (I spend HOURS at Sephora) I checked my lips again. To begin with, this is the GENUINE nude. It's only slightly lighter than my natural lips, not the ridiculously unrealistic, Dracula-just-drained-me, beige color I hate so much. This actually looks (gasp!) natural. I cannot speak of longevity since I didn't drink, or eat, or anything like that. It's matte, but not dry-as-spackle matte. So why only 4 lippies? $24 for a lip balm? Too expensive. Other than that, I like it.

the color is probably not suitable / natural looking for tanned - medium skin folks..maybe more so for fairER -'caucasion-LIGHHHT' skin....it just looks like a weird barbie plum pink on me ...ew and photographs that way too... at first i was impressed how soft it made my lips feels... i felt the moisture content.. but soon it wore off..
also it wears more like a lipstick than a tint... if ur oily skin like me, it looks WEIRD to have really matte lips!!!
and it comes off easily when i apply chapstick over...
lastly its frkn EXPENSIVE 31 dollarsss ....not worth it

I absolutely love the color of this lip color. It goes on pretty smooth, but it is a little drying when compared to other shades in the matte line. I just put on a little lip balm about 5 minutes before applying and the dryness issue disappears.
One of my favorite things about this color is that it lasts a very long time. I have a very busy workday and I rarely have time to even think about reapplying lipstick.
I would definitely repurchase this product.

I'm very happy with this. I think of it as a kind of dense/concentrated lipstick: it's thicker, has better staying power and is a slightly more moisturizing than most lipsticks I have tried. Exposed is just ever so slightly darker than my natural lip color, so that a few layers give a subtly "done-up" but still natural look. I would describe the color as a dusty nude rose (?). I apply it over a light, well rubbed-in layer of lip balm or jojoba oil because otherwise it's too dry, causing uneven pigmentation, clumping, and/or flaking (even after exfoliating my lips). I love the mintiness, and something about it is just fun to apply, maybe because it reminds me of a jumbo crayon. One gripe with packaging is that I keep scraping/smushing the product with the edge of the cap when recapping it. I might just be unusually clumsy or inattentive, though. It's also expensive, and I seem to be going through it pretty quickly (partly due to the smushing issue); I bought it during a 30% off sale, which is still a bit more than I'm comfortable paying for lip color, to be honest. I would purchase again but only on sale or on eBay... I almost never buy makeup at full price, though. Oh, and it's vegan!!!, which is why I chose this one over the original, non-matte kind.

I bought this looking for a nude pink lip color, but on my pigmented lips it turned a fake Barbie pink somehow. I also did not find this moisturizing at all! I had high hopes for this product but was disappointed.

I just bought this, and I'm absolutely loving it! I was looking for a color similar to that of Rose Huntington-Whiteley's lips (she's fortunate enough to have a great natural lip shade), so I posted a message here on MUA for recommendations. Two people recommended this shade, so I decided to try it out and it's absolutely perfect! It's my HG mlbb lipcolor! I wouldn't really call it a "nude". It's a light/medium mauvey pink color that can be worn with a large combination of looks. Price-wise, it's ridiculously expensive considering how much product you get (not much), so that's the only real downfall about it for me. I like that this isn't like a traditional stain, because those usually apply very unevenly on my lips and end up drying them out. These apply opaquely if you want them to, and they last a very long time (I can go about 4 hours before I start thinking about reapplying or applying some gloss). I don't find these to be drying, but they definitely don't increase lip moisture by 6000% like Tarte claims! (I think that claim is just completely ridiculous, but anyway....) I couldn't be happier with this, and even though it's very pricey, I'd happily purchase it again!

One of my favorite Lip Tint! The color Exposed is a very natural neutral. It is just like my lip color with a hint of good shine.
I used to ask why people would like a lip product that's their own lip color? Well because it's very natural looking and suitable for everyday use.
This tint goes on minty with slight tingle (I love everything minty), and the staying power is decent, but I also not those person that reapply their makeup through out the day. (yes, including lip color) Unless my lips feel exceptionally dry.
BIG cons, the packaging.... 90% of the time, the "pencil" will broke off. I have owned two of them prior and they both broke off. I've recently bought the third one and hopefully this one stays...

Okay, so THIS is my HG nude. Thought I'd found it with another brand's lipstick, but this one tops them all. I am so happy to finally have Exposed; it'd been out of stock at Ulta, Sephora and Tarte for a little while. Having finally received it in the mail, I can say it's even more gorgeous on in full strength than the store's tester suggested. It's a gorgeous rosy, brownish/beige nude color that I imagine flatters every woman. The feel is wonderful, too. Not at all drying like the mattes from Tarte used to be. No clumping or caking, just a lovely natural, rich, MLBB shade. This looks and feels like the best money ever spent on a lip product. Exposed, Hope, and Envy are staples in my daily makeup tote. Get it!
