So I first saw xsparkage using this and she made it sound/look AMAZING. I'm not a HUGE glitter fan (but I like it well enough). I kept putting it off and finally gave in. I had bought this with the intention of using it as an inner corner highlight and also on top of other eyeshadows to 'transform' the color.
The glitter in this concoction is very finely-milled, so much that it could pass as large shimmer/a sheen.
I think the product is quite expensive for the amount you get. I don't believe in paying $15 for glitter but... it was just too pretty. I do like that it's already a liquid so you don't have to buy a separate glitter base to mix with a loose glitter. I also think the eye dropper is genius --- it really reduces the potential mess.
Having said that, application still can get quite messy. Even if you use the smallest drop possible (I try for half a drop), the dropper still disperses way too much product. Maybe it's because I have small eyes... but I always get a lot of product waste --- which sucks since there isn't that much product to begin with. Half of the tube is the glitter and the other half is the liquid which you have to shake before using.
The main reason I took off one lippie is because the clear fluid (whatever it is made of) does not help the glitter adhere to your lids. I bought it kind of thinking that was the point... But as soon as the liquid evaporates, the glitter will move when touched (maybe I'll use a setting spray immediately after application?) Pretty lame move on Lorac's part...
But how much will you sacrifice for beautiful shimmer? Seriously, the 3D lustres are SO GORGEOUS and ENCHANTING. I could drool over them for ages.
I also haven't tried the 3D lustres on anything else but my eyes. I imagine it would be equally as beautiful on your decolletage. I think Sephora said you could use it on your cheeks... but I think it would be overkill --- also would probably emphasize pores.

I don't know why everyone's reviews on this are so high..I didn't like it at all. It's annoying to apply, drips everywhere, and with little payoff. Just a little sparkle. Like what the heck, LORAC??

I can't stress how AMAZING this product is. It really does have a 3D sparkle effect that is beyond any other glitters I've seen. I have the one in silver and it has some gold sparkles in it too and when you put it on the lid the effect is simply gorgeous! It's also not chunky nor is it over glitter-ed like some of the NYX roll-on glitters or glitter pigments. It's a very subdued yet buildable shimmer that looks awesome just swiped once across the lid. The only thing negative I could say about this is that I don't really like how if you're trying to only put the glitter in a small area it's harder not to get it everywhere since I usually apply it with my fingers.
I will definitely be repurchasing this forever.

This stuff ROCKS! I got it in my gratis when I worked at Sephora and I cannot live without my 3D Liquid Lustre!!! It makes any shadow super sparkly and a little bit goes a long way! It's so beautiful and honestly, for as beautiful as it makes all my shadows, I think the price is worth it!

This product is amazing!! It doesn't change the color of the eyeshadow i am wearing and you can make the sparkle subtle or all out disco ball! I haven't noticed any fallout from it and it last all day. My eyes are sensitive yet i have had no problems at all with this. I have this one as well as the gold and they are both worth the money since a little goes a long way! Just one tiny drop covers both eyes and gives the right amount of glitter. I don't use it as a highlighter since it is a little to much sparkle for that purpose. I will definitely purchase again if I ever manage to run out.

I can't get enough of sparkles and this is the sparkliest!!! I have found the product that I need to always have in my makeup bag. You can put it on your cheekbones and on top of any color eye shadow. Run, don't walk to pick this up for your makeup bag!

I LOVE this product! Saying this product is beautiful is an understatement. It is amazing!! I love shiny, glittery looking eye shadow and this gives me just that. Unfortunately, I had to take off a lippie because the price is a bit steep for such a little bottle of product. Although a very little bit of this product goes a very long way. You can wear this product alone, use it over an eyeshadow to make it more shimmery, use it to highlight anywhere. I will never be without this stuff again! I am surprised it has gotten so little reviews. If you haven't tried it make sure that you do!

I purchased this after trying it in the Sephora store and loved it! It's the perfect shimmer, not too glittery. The only complaint I had was that I'm not quite sure what the easiest way to apply it yet is. The second time I applied it, it kind of took my eyeshadow off so I'm still experimenting. I definetly love the look!

I don't know why I'm the first to add this product and review it, but it's always sold out at Ulta and Sephora. I think it's been made a permanent product, but it is part of their Spring collection. Liquid Lustre is an interesting product. It's a highlighter and also a glitter. The glitter is microfine and suspended within the liquid. When you apply it, it will set within a minute and then it won't move the entire day. This must have it's own built in mixing medium. The product shade has a base of pearl white and the glitter is white gold. It can be used on eyes or cheekbones and over any shadow. It's a glam product and gives that extra flash of light and sparkle. It can get messy if you're not careful since it is a liquid. The bottle is small for $16, but you need very little to get the effect you want.
Update: Now that I've been testing LA Splash products at Ulta, their glitter liner in Pink Sparkles reminds me of the Liquid Lustre. Only it's more suspended and you don't get the liquid all over the place. The shade match is exact, since it doesn't show up as pink on your skin. It's a dupe for the Liquid Lustre, and $7. It also does not move the entire day and the glitter is micro fine. Probably the finest grade of glitter you can buy. Just thought I'd share that bit of information. I'm sitting here trying to rub it off my hand and no glitter is moving or transferring onto my finger. The only thing it's missing is the liquid pearl base.
