I LOVE this blush! First off, I am not one to even wear blush, but now I would consider wearing some at any time! I got this blush in a gift set from tarte, and what can I say? It looks a lot more natural than a powdery blush, and doesn't break me out, which I love. At first I was a little hesitant to roll it on my cheeks, but it hasn't done anything to my skin. It has natural ingredients, and smells like a sweet tart! :) mmm. It is expensive ( All of Tarte's stuff is!), but I like it pretty well, and it should last a VERY long time. So in the long run, it's worth it. & you don't need much at all. Just a barely there rub against your skin and you're done! Also, I have olive toned skin, so this is a pretty good color for me. I think it would work well for paler skins too.

I really love the Tarte cheek stains. Both this pink and the more red one, leave a great natural look to the cheek that stays on most of the day. I use a little highlight with it - usually a MAC one and the results are good for my complexion. I use a blush brush to apply this and it builds as necessary. Good natural look.

I'm on my 2nd one. I found these last year at Ulta... in the mini size only, and have to say I really like this color. It's a very soft pink with more of a sheen than a shimmer. When I swipe my blush brush over the top of this blush and apply it as a highlighter on my cheek bones my face is transformed! It adds a serious, yet understated glow and dimension. It also works very well over powder blush by giving it extra staying power and a pretty pink pop. I've tried blending it with my fingers but an angled blush brush offers a far more blended look. I find this to be true with all cream blushes.

i picked up this mini version of the cheek stain at one of those little stands at the front of ulta. i just wanted to try it out. i really love it...it's a very pretty light pink that looks like a cream blush but actually does "stain' your cheeks. my complaint is that it is not easy to blend. i had to reapply to achieve the amount of color that i wanted and it ended up looking streaky, splotchy, etc.

I really like this cheek stain, the consistency is really nice and blends very well. The issue I have is that for me, the color is very very pale. On days when I'm wearing minimal makeup, it's fine for just a hint of color, and I like that I can toss it in my purse for no-fuss touch ups. I have also used this under my normal powder blush as kind of a primer on days when I really need my makeup to STAY, and it definitely helps! My boyfriend LOVED the scent and asked me what was new when he kissed my cheek. It's just a light lavender scent that's not overpowering or fake at all. I think I would repurchase this product, just in a different color.

Product - Cream blush in twist up stick form, in sheer soft pink. Though many of the Tarte Cheek Stains are gel-like in texture, this one is more of a cream, and surprisingly dry and hard. In the tube, this is a lovely gentle rosy pink with some shimmer. On my AAB/NC25 skin, it lends only the barest hint of pink, so for me it'll be best suited for on-the-go or low-fuss days. It's hard to determine the staying power since it wears so sheerly. I would get more use out of it if the pigmentation were richer.
Packaging - Fat tube with twist-up product. Color of the plastic packaging represents the color inside. Not sure if this is/was available in full size or in kit(s); I found this as a mini/GWP single at Ulta for $10. This mini size has the same type packaging as Eyeko Fat Balms. Comes with a small domed insert which sits on top of the product, which I presume is to prevent drying out and/or nicking the product when replacing the main cap. Texture of this one is dry and hard (for a cream blush stick) - kind of like NARS Multiples.
Overall - Better suited to paler gals than me (<NC25). If I could go back in time, there is a good chance I'd purchase this again in the mini size; but if you ask me to buy the full-size, I'll pass, based on the amount of color payoff for my skin coloring.
