I highly recommend giving this dry shampoo a chance.
I have tried Aveeno, Dove, Tresemme, Pssst, Batiste and Suave. This takes the cake.
Let me just also note, I have very oily/sensitive/acne prone skin. Which includes my scalp. All of the other dry shampoos I have tried have either broken out my scalp or my face around my hair line. Also, NONE of them have had such a wonderful lasting power against second day "grime" as this has. Meaning, if I found one that didn't effect anything else, the lasting power was absolute crap. I aurally have a dark brown, multi-tonal hair color, but I dye it a dark black blue color so finding a dry shampoo that doesn't turn me old lady gray has been difficult as well. The other thing I started noticing about dry shampoo's is that they all have a starch in them...aluminum, corn or otherwise...and this one has rice starch, which is a little less toxic. This also has wondrous volume that lasts and allows you to style your hair whatever way you want without getting in the way. I have also never, ever had a problem with it making my hair "crunchy" or stiff. You can also use it on freshly washed hair for some added volume and style ability / texture.
So as you have probably guess by now...This is my HG dry shampoo. It meets all my expectations and more. The sent is very pleasant, but I know scent is a very personal thing so I really cant say everyone will love it. (I don't like really girly fragrances) Anyway, so here is the best way to use this amazing product: Section hair; spray a small amount in a line along the roots of the section; message in with fingertips; let it soak in for 5 minutes; brush and/ or blow our hair. Ta-da! :)

I wasn't expecting too much from this dry shampoo, since it was the cheapest one my drugstore had in stock. But this stuff works so well! I have very oily hair, so skipping a day of shampooing is impossible for me without dry shampoo. This product never gave me any problems. It sprayed evenly and the tip never clogged, it has a nice, kind of fruity scent, and it absorbed my oil for the whole day. It does leave a little bit of a white cast, which isn't a huge issue for me since I have blonde hair, but it may be a little much for those with darker hair. I think if you really work the product in with your fingertips, though, you can probably get rid of most of the white color. Overall, this is one of the better dry shampoos I've tried, and it's only about $5, so definitely give this one a shot!

Lovin' it so far!
Unlike another dry shampoo I've used, this really doesn't weigh my hair down. The other one frequently made my hair look even dirtier, no matter how much or how little of it I used. I have not had that problem so far with Rockin' It.
I think the difference is that Rockin' It has only six ingredients - rice starch, alcohol, propellants, and fragrance - whereas the other had the same ingredients, plus clay, fruit extracts, and about a dozen other things.
Pricing on it varies wildly, though, with some retailers charging twice as much as others, so you do need to shop around.

Smells like aerosol deodorant which isn't good or bad. The tip will clog up quick if you aren't depressing the spray nozzle all the way down an each spray. Pressing it all the way down as far as it would go each time eliminated the clogging issue for me. It does indeed spray out a white powder BUT I found by really working it into my scalp and roots like a regular shampoo eliminated any visible residue and I'm a dark brunette. I mean get those fingertips in there really good like the stylish at the salon does when you get a hair wash. The idea is to work the powder completely into the roots and scalp so just spraying it in and brushing it out isn't gonna get it. All dry shampoos are meant to soak up excess oil and deodorize your scalp. This product does it just fine and for a fraction of the price of most others. I normally use an unscented body powder instead of a dry shampoo product. It works just as well but again, you have to really work it in.

this sprays out very visible white powder i guess in aerosol form. I got about three uses out of this by the forth time i tried using it instead of the normal white spray it started spurting out what looked like hair spray. Shaking the bottle around it still felt like there was product in it. but nada...
it works but if you have dark hair even on bright red hair like me you will still get a sort of white/grey cast
the number thing i hated about this was the smell. At first it smells like lemon. Then throughout the day it starts smelling like pen ink. Imagine writting an entire essay in pen ink then sniffing the paper. Thats exactly what i think my hair smells like after using this.

My biggest fear is overwashing my hair and overdrying it to shreds so I got into dry shampoos.
I've tried Marc Jacobs, Batiste and finally Got2B. This is the best one yet I would have to say!
1) Marc Jacobs works but is $12 a can. Runs out way too fast is and pricey.
2) Batiste leaves really really bad white powdery marks in which i just rather not use it
3) Got2B is the winner! its affordable at about $5-$7 and it works wonders. No powdery mess and doesn't smell funky.
Three reviews in one - you know what to do :)

Dry shampoo is my saviour and I was hoping to find something a bit cheaper than Batisse brand, which is what I normally buy. In regards to this product, I don't like the scent (just not pleasant to me) and I find the particles to be larger, making my hair look dusty. I also didn't find it made it look less oily. Back to Batisse.

Not a bad product for the price. Packaging could be better, after 1 use the hissing noise started up, I had to fiddle with the nozzle to get it to finally stop. It does leave a white residue, but provided you follow directions, do not overuse the product and properly work into hair, it does go away. I have medium brown hair, I'm unsure of whether this would be a good product on very dark hair.
Product does what it says - helps eliminate oiliness and skip a day of shampoo.
Will wait to see whether the bottle leaks like how it does for many others, then will decide on repurchase.

I like this stuff a lot for the price. It's a good Dry Shampoo for when you're on the go or at the drugstore and need something quick. My hair was super dirty when I used it from going to the gym two days in a row and not having time to wash it before we left the house. It seriously made my hair soft and shiny again with tons of bounce. This product doesnt last very long though, so if you're going to use it really often I would probably find something else. Otherwise it's really great for the price.

I just bought this product today when I ran out of my L'Oreal texture dry shampoo. I was not expecting much for a $3 can of dry shampoo. WOW I was wrong.I didnt wash my hair for two days and It was oily and dirty looking. After I used this, It looked clean, fresh, like I just took the time to shower and do my hair all over again. Much better than the L'Oreal. It does come out white but, after I rubed it in, it disappears. I love the smell of this! Its so fresh. I cant believe it works so well! I have used a tresseme dry shampp and a L'Oreal Professional Dry Shampoo, this $3 can, blows those two out of the water!

This was the first dry shampoo I tried based on the recommendation of a woman I worked with. Let me start by saying I have super long course frizzy dark hair that is often bleached and colored and gets super oily at the roots and bangs after one day because of all the product and styling I use to get it beautiful. The smell of this shampoo is strong, perfumy and citrusy to me (reminiscent of grapefruit scented teen fragrances). I would prefer something with less scent as it does conflict with the lighter scents I generally wear. Make sure you wear a towel or something over your shirt when you spray this as the powder is hard to get off some clothing. It goes on powdery and to me it almost seems like gold sparkles. If I spray it on too strong it's kind of hard to get the white haze out of my dark roots, but I generally lift my hair in sections, spray the roots and after use my fingers to scrunch my hair up and rub it as much as I can through my roots then I put my head upside down and with a dry towel try to towel dry out all the excess powder. It does add extra volume and save me from having to straighten my hair again. I don't find it is effective for sweaty greasy workout hair, just say next day hair or camping hair for instance. I definitely have other dry shampoos I prefer, but if it was all that is available I would still purchase it. I always see it on sale for BOGO every few months I recommend trying it then.

Overall this dry shampoo is very good. It dries up my oil a lot better than Suave did. It loses a lippie because the white film is REALLY bad. You have to really dig in to get it out. If anyone with dark hair like mine uses this product be very gentle with spraying because if you spray too much your hair will turn gray. I'll probably find a new dry shampoo to use but overall I'll repurchase.

I love the shampoo itself - I don't mind the smell, I think it's easy to use and very effective. However, I bought two of these, and they lasted abysmally little time. The first one was enough for around 8 uses, the second one - for 5. I can tell that the package is full, but the white powder no longer comes out, and whatever is inside does nothing for my hair. Won't repurchase until this is fixed.

This is the first dry shampoo I have ever tried. I like to go as many days as I can before I wash my hair because I bleach it a lot. I need something that will absorb the grease so I can style my hair as needed. This stuff is pretty average. I liked it a lot at first, but I agree with everyone that it does get clogged and it can be very frustrating. Definitely going to try another Dry Shampoo and won't be getting this again.

I generally do not write reviews for products but this one I just had to write a review for. I had heard so many great reviews about this dry shampoo so when I went shopping I decided to try it. I did not like this product at all. I used it the first time and it left huge white spots all over my hair and made my hair look gray. Also when you are done using it it makes a hissing noise that is really annoying. It also goes EVERYWHERE. I sprayed it once and it got all over my bathroom sink. The last thing I don't like is that I only used it once and when I shake the bottle is feels like the bottle is empty and nothing was coming out. I rinsed it under water like the packaging said to and nothing came out still. Bottom line, I would never buy this product again.

This crap SUCKS!! First of all, it smells so bad that even my family complained about it; second, it doesn't even work: my hair looked even worse with this in than it did without it. Thank God I bought it on sale, so I only wasted $3.99CDN. I will be throwing this away and will not buy it again.

Just like EVERYONE ELSE...I got this at Walgreens BOGO the first bottle I used maybe 3 times then nothing came out I tried warm water like it suggests and even a safety pin. The other bottle I only used once and have the same problem! I put the lid back on everytime too. It works great WHEN IT WORKS

Wow, I absolutely love this! I have medium length, dyed and extremely oily hair. This is the second dry shampoo I've tried (first was Suave) and it works awesomely. The Suave one made my hair look clean, but it felt absolutely disgusting to the point where I'd want to shower more after using it. The got2b one makes my hair look clean, AND FEEL CLEAN. It doesn't feel like anything is in my hair. It's relatively cheap (I believe I paid around $4 for it at Walmart) which is definitely worth it.

EDIT: After the 3rd use, this stuff disapeared! This morning as I'm trying to spray this stuff on, no powdery spray comes out, only wet hairspray stuff that doesn't get rid of oil. There is a TON left in there, I can hear it when I shake it...I don't understand, it was working great last week.
I really like this dry shampoo! I normally go for Batiste, but its been out forever at my local Sallys and I didn't want to spend extra $$ at this other beauty supply store in town.
I really like the fragrance, I like it better than Batiste, as it has sort of a weird smell I can't describe, this smells fresh and a little citrusy. I think it does a good job masking the oil and it does give my hair some body.
I deducted a lippy because it comes out of the can pure white, I have dark roots so it does show up on brown hair gray, but I haven't found a dry shampoo that doesn't. I have tried: Ion dry shampoo, Batiste, Batiste Hint of Color, Pssst and Klorane. Klorane is my fav, and it was the first dry shampoo I've ever tried but its soo much $$$.
Overall, I'm very happy with Got 2 B and not sure if I'll stray...its so interesting to see more hair care companys come out with dry shampoo, you all should have thought of that years ago!!

I picked this up because I had a coupon. ;) I have long, dyed, oily hair and with a crazy schedule and a toddler, well, I hate washing and drying my hair. Nevermind STYLING! I had only used 1 other dry shampoo before purchasing this one (Oscar Blandi) and didn't quite know how the spray would work. I have to say, this cheapo product blows the OB out of the water! A few spritzes and some brushing and my second-day oilies at the roots are gone. No white residue, no lingering smell. This does smell powdery/chalky, but that quickly disappears. NO flakes after 8 hours! I am impressed and plan to repurchase.
