Okay, so I spent at least $200 on these extensions. They claimed to be 100% human hair, after washing them two times, they ARE NOT HUMAN HAIR. I am extremely disappointed considering I just spent $200 on a company who claims it is real hair.
BE HONEST with your customers, if it was real hair, it wouldnt be NAPPY.
I bought these extensions about two months ago.

These are great hair extensions but I don't feel that they are worth it for the price (AUD$211 incl shipping). I purchased the 20-22" full head (160g) in California Highlights. For reference I have light golden blonde hair (thanks to Clairol Nice n Easy 103 Natural Light Beige (Neutral) blonde, hahaha and it's almost an identical match). This shade is very similar to Jessica Simpson Hairdo in Golden Wheat. California Highlights is multi-tonal but I wouldn't say it is overly highlighted in appearance - my hair isn't highlighted and is more of a solid block of colour but these look very natural and blend seamlessly. I find that this is too much hair for my head so I usually leave a few wefts in the box.
I was confused by the lengths. My hair falls about 1-1.5 inches below my bra strap and these extensions are a good 2 inches longer than my natural hair at their longest point. It feels like they almost touch my belly button when perfectly straight. Curled they blend better. In the HK youtube video the model wearing the 20-22's hair looks the same length as my own natural hair. No real biggie though - I can always get the hairdresser to trim them down a bit.
I have bought other 'Remy' hair extensions and have seriously doubted their Remy claim but Head Kandy do feel like true Remy extensions. Being blonde the hairs are not too thick so they blend in with my fine hair . I have only attacked them once with the heat styler but they curled fine. Smell-wise they did get that processed (wet-dog) smell when curling but were fine after applying MorrocanOil treatment. There was no noticeable matting of my hair after 8 hours wear. If you have the extra money to spend and don't mind perhaps paying slightly more than these are a good choice.

After a great deal of debate and research I coughed up the $$ to purchase "quality" extensions. I ordered the 20" Organic set and was amazed at how fast they arrived and how lush they were. Here's the problem: When I took out the quad weft and ran my hands over it, it shed. a LOT. when I brushed it (with a gentle looped brush) it shed some more. umm. Not good. I emailed HeadKandy and explained the situation - at this rate they wouldn't last a month, That it was ONLY the quad weft and one of the smaller wefts so maybe I got a bum weft? The rest were fine. I got a canned response, slightly edited. So obvious it was insulting. They said to put clear NAIL POLISH on the ends to seal it. Really? Not we are sorry, Lets see how we can make this better.. They said in their email HeadKandy has SOOO much more hair, that I even if it lost some it made no difference. Hello! THe mount of hair is WHY I bought HeadKandy. If I knew it was going to fall out I would have just saved myself $100 and bought Sally's. In a nutshell, HeadKandy's quality has obviously gone down, and they seem to have no incentive for good customer service or working with thew customer on repairing any issues.

Shed instantly, and washed only one time, and now like horse hair! THey got very brittle, and just matty! Very dissapointed, and will never buy again.

I just purchased the 18 inch in Organic, which is a brown/black color. I LOVE them! They are so soft and natural looking and have not shed like my experience with other extension brands. I have already made another purchase in the 20 inch for days I want longer hair. I am very happy with this brand. These are the best and I have tried Foxy Locks and Proextensions. These are also thick to the ends as others have mentioned.

These are the real deal. I've read some other reviews claiming that they were a scam, it's so not true! I ordered the 16-18 inch extensions in iced coffee and they arrived exactly six days later, which is pretty good for international mail. I always wanted long hair, but have never been able to grow it past my shoulders due to a vitamin deficency. I reasearched extensions endlessly, I mean months of watching youtube videos and researching what makes extensions good or bad. These really are the best on the market. Pay the money it's worth it, I love them!

wow! these extensions are fabulous. They are sooo silky soft, very thick and consistent from the top to the ends, and for the price you can't beat the length!! I purchased the 24"-26" full set. It comes with 10 wefts, and it's 180 grams of hair. That's a whole lot of hair! I am platinum blonde and I purchased the "Bunny Blonde". They were pretty close to my hair color, but for some reason they were super yellow compared to my "white blonde" hair. I was worred because this is the lightest shade they offer, and it says in the hair care guide that dying them will seriously affect the condition and quality of the hair because they have already been through a special chemical process or something. So, bleaching them was out of the question. I contacted Head Kandy and told them about my dilemma, and since I use "Purple Shampoo" on my own hair, I decided it could fix my extensions! Head Kandy promptly responded to me and told me that a lot of their clients use toning shampoos on their extensions and to go ahead and test a piece out so my whole set didn't turn purple lol. I was very happy and testd out a piece. I use purple shampoo I bought from Sally's, it's actually called "Generic Value Products Purple Shampoo" and it's supposed to be a knock off of the Clariol Shimmer Lights. I prefer the generic purple shampoo because it's much more pigmented and it's a HUGE bottle for 6$. I mixed one part puprle shampoo and two parts water in a bowl, mixed it all together and then dipped my extensions in it and let them soak for 30 seconds. No longer then that because it will alter the extensions too much (the first one I tried i left it on for 10 mins and it turned purple) and once I was done washin and toning all of them they are finally my perfect shade of platinum! I am so happy they finally match my hair. Even after washing them they are not tangled or gross and still look great. For 209.98$, you can't beat the price or the quality. MIne came in 7 days and I live in Washington so that's awesome. Overall, very happy with these.

Hi
I have had over 8 sets of extensions I am always on the quest for the next best thing but with these extensions I have found them!! I buy all my own products myself and give honest reviews. These extensions are worth the splurge! You get exactly what you pay for. They come in a beautiful packaging that you can recycle and use to keep the extensions safe and tangle free. I have short thick hair and it is very difficult to find extensions to blend but this set it perfect for do so...the hair is soft and thick from top to bottom the wefts and clips stay flat to the head which is a good thing very natural looking. The wide range off colours and a dye it yourself choice. I have saw many bad reviews on these extensions but I have had three previous sets off headkandy and onto my forth and each set has lasted me 1 year and for anybody who knows about hair extensions knows that is a very long time and I wear my hair in nearly every day !! I think how well you look after you extensions really does reflect in how damaged your extensions get and in what amount off time. The customer service and delivery is amazing to within 2hours off emailing I get replies and in regards to the postage next day delivery can't get better than that !!

Having worn extensions on and off for the past 7 years, I have a fairly good idea of quality. In the past, I've tended towards buying basic (real) hair from beauty supply stores, and sewing the clips myself as I find it allows for more versatility, but I've also bought Luxy Hair Extensions.
From Headkandy, I bought the 'organic brown black' 24-26 inch kind; it's a hard length to find, and the price point wasn't too bad especially considering it's 160g of hair. My total was 209.98, including shipping. The pros are that the hair is long, and weighty. The colour was good and matched mine perfectly, and there's a great big 'quad weft' they include (great for those of us with thick hair that want thick length, too).
The cons make this a purchase I won't repeat. The hair is really fine, just densely packed, and super static-ky/very frizzy. Trying to comb through knots is an absolute nightmare. The clips are the tiny kind that aren't very grippy, and that come out with a tug: both annoying and kind of embarrassing. The hair itself is dull, and looks off with my own hair which is healthy. Having washed these twice, the frizz/overall messy look of these only gets worse, and they absolutely do not hold a curl whatsoever. Just an overall frustrating set of extensions to work with. Overall, not recommended, I'll be sticking to beauty supply store hair.

I bought these back in july. It took about two weeks to get here.I Paid 213.00 usd for them ,I got the butterscotch highlights in the 24-26" length. There 180 grams.
The packaging was good(very secure) the hair is pretty good some split ends and it gets a little thin toward the ends but the color was beautiful, I love the quad weft, super thick.
I've washed them once, heat styled them a few times and they look really well, didn't have any problems with shedding.and I've worn them almost every day for a month. Knowing they take two or more weeks to get here(CO,USA)I ordered more just a couple of weeks ago.
I've had a few different brands, luxy, sallys euronext, bobbyglam, and love your locks. I feel the most comfortable buying these again.

I ordered these because I saw so many good reviews on them, but let me tell you - they are awful! First of all, all the pieces were cut to the same length, EXCEPT the quad weft which had a big chunck missing from the bottom. It looked like someone took scissors and just hacked a section out. When I sent customer service a picture and asked for a new one, they said that the weft looked "acceptable" and that I should go to my stylist and spend more $$ to get them cut (even though they claim you don't need to cut theirs). On top of that, curl or any style really, lasts about 10 minutes in the hair. And within 3 weeks, the hair was matting and unmanageable to the point that I could no longer wear it. I gave them one more chance, hoping I just got a bad batch of hair, and since I loved the color so much, ordered again - same situation. EXACTLY the same situation. I tried one last time and ordered individual wefts - what a disaster that was! The pieces were thin and cut unevenly and the hair was shedding horribly from the minute I took them out of the package. Save yourself time and money and DON'T buy from Headkandy!

I bought some 2 years ago. They were great! Even after being washed, they stay in great shape unlike other hair extensions I've used.
I should warn you, with my pair, they didn't last very long because I dyed them black and they became very unmanagable and ratty.
As long as you take care of the extensions, they should stay in great shape.
I ordered my second set.

First let me say I have used every kind of hair extension including Russian Virgin, Indian Virgin, Remy and cheap generic brands in the earlier days of extension wearing years ago.
My favorite kind of hair hands down, is the Indian Virgin hair from JuJu Hair Co. OUTSATANDING hair, truely. Better than Russian which tangled really bad and not to mention costed my right arm. That said Indian Virgin hair tends to get quite thin on the ends the longer you go which ends up making me have to wear a ton of hair to get the desired length and thickness I like which can get uncomfortable!
Onto HeadKandy, I ordered the 24-26 inch in Soho Black. All of the pieces are 25 inches, very soft, super thick from top to bottom and crazy long. Too long for me. I got about 4 inches cut off and they feel and look so much better. Very minimal shedding. The clips are awful, hard to clip and always popping open. The quality of hair is comparable to Indian Virgin in that they are very fine strands of hair and feel quite light on your head, however they do tend to tangle quite easily, Indian Virgin doesn't at all. The HeadKandy doesn't hold curl very well, while Indian Virgin holds curl incredibly well.
All in all these are the best non-virgin hair extensions I've come across. If they didn't mat or tangle and held curl better they'd be a solid 5.

I already own Euronext extensions from Sallys but wanted to get the famous QUAD weft from Headkandy.
Ordered them over a week ago and they are still not here, but they are coming from England and the company did ship them same day I ordered.
To make a long story short, I just couldn't wait any longer and checked Ebay for Headkandys and yep-- got lucky a girl had a set of two quad wefts (80g total) for just $40!!
So now I can tell you that the quality is GREAT. I had to dye mine from light blonde to dark brown with medium brown highlights and they came out shiny, bouncy and gorgeous even after the coloring and heat styling.
The lenght is on the shorter side of what they quote you. Mine were the 16-18 inch and in reality were much closer to 16 but nice and thick to the very ends.
Glossier then Euronext and hold a curl much better. These are so glossy in fact that they blend in less then the other ones because my own hair on top is more dull -- so something to think about...
If these are a 10, the Euronext ones are at least a solid 9 in quality.
One quad weft will make your hair much thicker if it's very close in length to your own hair, two quads give me a full set effect because my hair is pretty long
If you don't mind waiting go for the Headkandys -- but if you need hair NOW, just pick up some Euronexts at Sallys. They actually run pretty long -- if it says 18in they will be 18, just a tad more wispy at the bottom but still good.

I ordered HeadKany's on a Thursday evening and received them Tuesday. I thought that was amazing from the UK. When they arrived what is nice that they give you a sample piece without opening the package,so you can hold it up to your head and clearly see if it matches your hair color for an easy return without the product being opened. I ordered the second darkest organic brown black and I could clearly see it was to brown. and you can always buy their "dye-it yourself" shade to ensure a perfect match But most of all I noticed how freakin silky they are. I wanted to send them back and get black but I wanted them for the weekend so bad,so I threw on my hair color on them (my natural instincts chestnut) and they match perfectly. I ordered the 20 inch which turned out a little long for me so I had them cut. The length part is cleary a preference thing. HK's come in 14,16,18,22,24 and 26. But I had hair extensions before from sally's,jessica simpson ones, and a company I will not name. I am not an expert but I know for me ,thickness is an issue since I am bi-racial and I need them to be a little thick to match and blend with my hair and these do that. I love the quad weft and every company should provide that piece with their set. My hair is very thick I might even purchase an additional quad weft in future. I can see these lasting along time. Even after I dyed them to match my color they still feel so silky and very shiny. I defiantly will repurchase these. The thickness and the quality are there in this product. I have not experienced any tangling like some other brands I've tried. I believe the total came to 186$ for the 20 inch set and I'm very happy with it. I feel like if you try to save 40 bucks and purchase from other companies you will possibly be disappointed like I was with other brands. The only bad I can say is the clips aren't that great and sometimes I do have to play around with them to get them to clip and they did enclose extra clips so I'm assuming I might have to possibly sew in a new clip eventually. But that goes to show that you will have this product for a long time. I can see these possibly lasting a year. I also like the little instruction booklet they come with. The extensions are numbered and the booklet has instructions where to place them by number which is cool too. They are thick, manageable, and silky.. and thats what I wanted
UPDATE 1/20/12 I purchased a quad weft alone to replace the one that came with my set since some hair is broken off from excessive use and wear and tear. And I wanted a brand new one! Anyway the weft that I just got today is not anything like the one that came with the set.The one that came with the set was thick to the ends, extremely thick. This quad weft I bought off the individual pieces that are sold separately is so thin and get even thinner at the ends. My old one that I abused is by far still way thicker about 4 xs thicker. The quad I just got is comparable thinness to the side pieces that come when you get the whole set. Which are fine for the sides but not the back. My old weft that came with my set is heavier.Im very disappointed. I don't think I would be able to wear this as a replacement of my old one for how thin it is. I think it's crazy that they sell individual quads and they are acting like they are the same as the ones included in the set. This piece is useless if I still would prefer to wear my old one. I'm so upset. I would have bought another whole set if I would have known the "thick" quad weft only comes when you purchase the whole set. I have pics if anyone wants to see the difference. rating 5 goes to 4
UPDATE 6/5/12 I purchased another whole set since I was very pleased with my original set. I made my purchase on Thursday May 24th and received it on Friday June 1rst I thought was really good since Memorial Day was involved during the time period of when I placed my order. The weft in this set has 4 clips this time and was thinner at the last 2 inches unlike my first set that was very thick to the ends. Since I was so happy with my original set I repurchased an additional quad weft separately and was very disappointed. I later found out it is nothing like the weft that is included with the full set so I thought for sure I would be satisfied this time since I LOVED the set I purchased in 2011 but this set is mehh. This set seems not as thick and I had to put in more pieces that I had to with my original set. I'm not used to having so many clips in my head to achieve what I had before. I have black hair now and ordered the black set this time and they are way to shiny that I felt embarrassed to have them in and removed them and haven't even worn this new set outside. It has that fake looking shine that screams extensions/weave/fake/not mine lol that's something I don't want lol I also had to trim the last two inches off since they were thinner not extremely thin but noticeable to me and in comparison to my previous set. My bottom line is I would not repurchase from them actually. I have been very disappointed with the single weft I bought separately and not head over heels about this new full set. So I had been bummed out the last two times I ordered so I won't try again. I would still say that it is the best affordable set for normal slightly thick hair for someone that doesn't wasn't to sew their own. But if you have no problem making your own or have really thick hair I would pass now since I think they made great super thick extensions at first just enough to get the word out and after that they aren't as thick now.

Very simple....This by FAR is the best hair out there! You will not regret purchasing theses. I have the 24-26" and I am so glad I bought theses b/c of how silky and smooth they are. Yes they are a bit pricier, but you get so much hair that I doubt most people wear all the wefts at the same time. I paid approximately $206 which included shipping, and they arrived in10 days.I will be a returning customer to this company and I will be recommending whenever the request is made. I get so many compliments whenever I wear these extensions and I like to describe it as Goddess hair!! LOL!

Wow, where to begin?
This is my second set of Headkandy extensions (different length) and I won't buy any other brand! I purchased my first set in 2009 and I still use that set. The quality of the hair is exceptional and my 2009 set is still silky, strong and thick! I really take care of them using minimal products to prevent buildup and in turn, I don't have to wash them that often. I brush them with a looped brush before and after I put them in. They hold a curl beautifully (better than my own hair) so you don't need that many products and when I do wash them I use a mild shampoo with a deep conditioner. They have lasted me so long with minimal fallout. I also dyed my first set and the quality did not decrease at all.
The clips are amazing and they definitely stay put! The rubber backing on the clips grip onto my fine hair without any discomfort (I don't even need to tease my hair). The hair itself is of very high quality and you can definitely tell. The extensions are silky and strong and I have not experienced any tangling (like some other brands I've tried). I love that you get sooo much hair! I don't think I have ever used all the the wefts at once. I mix and match them depending on the hairstyle. The quad-weft is amazing if you want a quick boost of volume.
Honestly these are the best extensions I have ever tried, hands down (trust me, I've tried a lot!). They are a bit pricey-er but you get what you pay for and these are definitely worth the investment. If you're looking for quality extensions, look no further than Headkandy. They have a really great variety of lengths (12" to 26") and the range of colors is good, and you can always buy their "dye-it yourself" shade to ensure a perfect match (that's what I did for my first set because I was so nervous it wouldn't match my hair).

I wanted to do a thorough review on Headkandy Hair extensions since I get so many messages by muaers and there's no reviews. This will be long, so get ready :)
Some background:
I got into hair extensions after having my daughter turned my curly hair straight and left me with shoulder length hair (i've always had long hair). After having negative effects from weaves, fusion and microlinks I decided to try clip ins. I tried low end brands (Euro next, premium too, glamour etc) and they were just too thin and crappy. You could tell I had extensions :(
Then I found Headkandy. My first set was in 2007, I bought the 12-14 inch set. They were fantastic! They matched my colour perfectly, blended seamlessly, looked perfectly natural. I was hooked. After a year, they were too short, so I bought a 16-18 inch set, same effect, they looked amazing! I ended up buying 2 16-18inch sets because I went through a hair dying phase and you arent supposed to dye these lighter. Anyways, so now i've been wearing my latest set for 2 years and they take a lot of abuse, I iron them daily. But I do take care of them as well, with frequent treatments and heat protector.
On to the extensions themselves... They are amazing, the hair quality cannot be matched. They are silky, but strong, super shiny, and thick right to the ends (no stringy ends!) The clips grip perfectly, and the quad weft really blends everything together. I love them! There are pics in my profile.
Pros:
Amazing hair quality
Super thick
Low shedding
Create a natural look
Excellent clips
Fast shipping
Good customer service
Cons:
Pricier than other brands (but you get what you pay for I guess)
On the shorter side (for example, if you order 16-18, expect 16")
The don't come in the long storage plastic thing, I just find that thing useful lol
I tried many other brands out of curiosity; Luxy, Foxylocks, Dollie, SuperStrands amongst the more popular ones, with the exception of Dollie the rest are crap :( I wasted a lot of money. I will not be trying any other brands from this point on, if anyone wants reviews of the other brands, feel free to pm me :)
Hope this helps!
