This has been my go-to Spring 2013 lipstick shade. Looks great on darker skintones (I'm around NC37-ish now) and provides a cute pop of pinky coral.

I love that these lipsticks leave a dark stain afterwards. By the end of a full workday, the stain on my lips is insane!

Formulation is a bit drying, but if you layer balm on or under it it's fine.

This is actually my first Cover Girl lipstick purchase ever. I only picked up this lipstick because I loved the packaging and Fairytale looked like a fun color for spring. Boy, was I wrong about the color! Fairytale is a considered a pink not a coral, imo. Most corals work very well with my skintone (NC40) Revlon l/g in Coral Reef is my absolute fave coral lip product. However, Fairytale looks very harsh on me. I looked pretty wacked out in this shade. This shade has a neon pink base with a hint of coral. Yuck, just not a fan of this shade. As for the formula, it is bad...extremely poor quality imo. Wet 'n Wild, Revlon, L'Oreal all have a much better formula if you want an expensive lipstick! The formula is dry, gritty and uncomfortable. This also stains the lip a bit and requires firm pressue to scrub it off.

This is a great pinky-coral lipstick. Its richly pigmented and bright. Its a great lipstick for those who love pinks but the blue undertones scare them. Its quite a neutral pink. The lipstick is quite creamy and glides on effortlessly. The brightness is surely there so you can start wearing like a stain first.

This color is AMAZING. It makes my eyes pop! I will say that it is a smidgen drying, but if you pop on some chapstick you will be fine. I highly recommend this lipstick!

I love these lipsticks from this Lip Perfection line, Enthrall was my spring/summer coral color and I was looking for something different to brighten up my face for fall/winter but really wasn't looking for a red so I went out on a limb and got this bright pink one,, i'm a pale blue eyed redhead and this color brightens my whole face w/o having to wear gad of other makeup,, lil blush, simple eye and shazaam! ,, unlike the other color I had this one does seem a little drying so either applying a balm before or after does help,,, it DOES stain which is you don't want that could be an issue but if you're like me and feel entirely jipped by a product that fades this sucker will last,, in fact the color stains so well really all you need to pack is a balm if you're packing light to go over and keep it moist.

Shade description: bright red coral

Pros

- pigmented
- long wearing

Cons

- stains lips
- drying

Comments: Such a pretty color. It's an incredibly bright shade of coral with red undertones, so it just looks classic against my skin tone. It's gorgeous. I just hate that these lipsticks stain the lips so bad, besides that...great buy.

Will repurchase.

Most people probably won't experience this, but this was like a love affair gone completely wrong. Agree w/positive reviews re color (beautiful on trend corally pink), good coverage and texture. But problems for me were -- it stains incredibly strong/after one hour or less/which I realize can be good or bad (I scrubbed vigorously w/vaseline, sugar scrub etc but to no avail). BUT bigger problem was that it kind of bleeds/migrates, such that the stain is mostly gone in middle of lips, but dark stain all around -- leaving me with a noticeably lip color middle part surrounded by dark color. Not good. Also stains to a darker coral/almost red color, which is not what I bargained for. If this had stained evenly, the color change wouldn't have bothered me as much. Maybe a unique experience to me, and I envy those who don't have similar problems, bc it is a lovely color -- at first.

This was gross and chalky!! Pretty packaging, though, but the "barbie pink" color looks so fake on me!! I guess its okay with a balm (it tones down the color), but it honestly made me look like a bimbo. Very loud!

These lipsticks are a fail for one reason...they all stain your lips. If that's what you are looking for then these are great. I'm not. They also bleed even with lip liner. Colors are nice, packaging is great, just didn't work for me.

This is a great lipstick color for spring. I was looking for Toxic Tale from MAC, and found this to be a close dupe. Its not exact as the finishes are different but the look is there. Feels great on, and will buy more. Its been over 10 years since Ive purchased a CG lipstick as they used to suck. Not anymore. Love the new formula

The best part about this product is the color -- I've been looking for a lipstick in this color forever! Everything this bright is usually either too coral or too blue-based fuchsia, but this is a great, warm, bright pink color that, on me, does not lean much toward coral. I took the advice of below reviewers and applied it with my finger for a more subtle tint, or if I'm going for a bold bright lip, I apply it right out of the tube. Either one looks good -- they're just varying intensity. As others have said, it is a bit drying, so applying lip balm before or after (or both) is essential. (Korres lip butter in pomegranate is the perfect color match!) But it's a great price and it lasts forever, so definitely worth a try!

Fairytale is a sexy, gorgeous, daring hot pink lipstick with just a slight hint of orange undertones. One swipe of this shade and you are in for an instant mood lifter. This shade of hot pink is a vintage pink that never goes out of style and it is very pigmented and long wearing! It is a bit drying though because it has a slight matte finish. I also have Cover Girl Lip Perfection in Flame and also love it. I adore hot pink lipsticks and Fairytale is a great color to add to my collection. I also recommend Revlon's Moon Drops lipstick in Love that Pink or Persian Melon, two of my other hot pink faves.

Such a pretty color, but unfortunately it doesn't work for my lips. It kinds of crackles them and leaves an unfinished look. I got a lot of compliments on the color, but it's too bland when it come to gleam or shine. All in all, if you like a simple kind of lipstick without the glitz or glamor, go for this one, but if you're like me and like a type of shine to your lips, don't get it.

The smell, it is a bit much. The weird feeling on my lips, a bit odd. BUT...the color and texture are awesome. I love cute summery colors that lean towards coral yet are still a bit pink (like Kiss Me Coral by Revlon, which I do prefer). This color is brighter than KMC and slightly more opaque. It builds up really nicely and the color stays put. I have a medium-light complexion with a yellow-peach undertone, so I always feel like I am getting away with wearing orange when I wear this lipstick. I have been using up my old Max Factor glosses which I layer over this one. It really is a wonderful base color. Overall, I can get over the smell/tingling to wear it.

I love that this lipstick is a unique watermelon/coral shade. It's very bright+looks great with a fearless, fun outfit. You can also personalize this shade by applying a pink or coral lipgloss on top or mixing with another shade of lipstick completely. I like pairing it with Guava Fruit Spritzers lipgloss from Cover Girl to give it a little boost of shine+makes your lips look juicy+plump;)

I LOVE this color and it wears great, BUT...it tastes absolutely awful and smells about as bad. Just way too heavily perfumed. Yuck. I am not used to wearing Covergirl, or cheap cosmetics, but saw this color in a magazine and fell in love. Now I'm desperate to find this shade in another manufacturer's lipstick. I tried to find a match at Sephora with no luck.

Once upon a time in a land far away I thought (as many mistakenly do at first) that I found My One True Love - the perfect pink lipstick. But alas, t'was not meant to be for that most disastrous issue of conflict amongst couples, akin to infidelity: the Fuchsia Phenomenon - poisoned the relationship. It ended in a devastating fuchsia divorce.

Translation: it could turn fuchsia on you if lipsticks tend to turn fuchsia on you! Otherwise, you're probably fine as the shade looks a beautiful warm pink on everyone but fuchsia victims.

Another thing - it's heavily scented. I know, it's time for a neat "The end" but if you don't like heavily scented lipsticks this could be an issue.
