Really nice product, my face definitely feels firmer after use.

Not sure whether it stops premature wrinkles yet but I have noticed a significant difference in the smile lines around my mouth, which our now less visible than they were before :)

Laneige Perfect Renew Essence
The consistency of this anti-aging serum is not as heavy as most serums, but not as light as moisturizers. And again, like most Laneige products, it is lightly scented. Luckily, it doesn’t cause my sensitive skin to break out.
The packaging is in a small blue pump-bottle. It is not transparent like the other Perfect Renew products, hence I cannot really see as to how much product is left. *sad
How I apply it:
After using emulsion, I use about a pump and apply onto my cheeks, forehead and chin.
For my cheek area, I massage and spread out the essence with an inward to outward motion. I then massage the mouth area to eye area with an upward motion and for the forehead, I massage the product with inward to outward upward motion.
Lastly, I finish up with my palm, lightly pressing down my face for about two to three times.
The application is done in such a way to ensure the maximum absorption of the serum into my skin.
Pros
- A small pea size is enough for my entire face
- I actually noticed a difference in my skin after 2 weeks of using this product. My skin is firmer, and the fine lines around my nose and mouth and on my forehead are visibly lighter. I’ve been using the product for almost 2 months now and the fine lines on my forehead are…..gone ^^ happiness!!!! (but please note that I decided to use this product after a month or two of noticing the fine lines on my face)
- It doesn’t leave my skin with a sticky feeling.
- It doesn’t clog my pores
Cons
- Quite pricey ( $50 for a 40ml bottle T_T )

I received a 5mL sample of this in a trial kit I received with my purchase during the 2010 holiday promotion. This is supposed to be an anti-aging essence so it's hard to say if there were actually results or not. Laneige packaging as always is superb. The product itself was nice, it was a very watery texture that you apply by massaging into your skin and then putting your hands over your face to let the product be absorbed more effectively. Afterwards my face feels a little sticky but the feeling goes away after awhile. It feels very nice on the skin and the fragrance is light and fresh. If I had money to burn I would maybe purchase this again, but I can't see myself itching to buy this.
