I'm going to give a tentative review of this product but haven't yet used up a whole bottle (and I would prefer to pass judgement when I have used up the whole thing). Right now I have been using the is for a couple of months, always at night, and with no other moisturizer either beneath or on top. I wanted to try this out by itself first to see if I could see a difference. I have used about two thirds of the bottle so far and honestly did expect to see more results than I have. I can see some slight difference but nothing that has made me really impressed. I have two huge age spots on my forehead and I apply a thick layer here (hoping that the more product I add the quicker they will vanish). They do seem to have improved a little. SO says that they appear to be breaking up, which is a good sign. I also noticed that generally my skin does look brighter, especially in a morning after I have used this product. I still have some discoloration but generally there is an improvement although nothing I can really put my finger on. I haven't broken out from using this, which is always a good thing. The serum itself smells really good, like orange blossom, and doesn't feel very sticky on my face at all. I will continue to use then make a decision at the end of the bottle if this is really worth continuing.

I bought this specifically to help fade some scars after a horrendous case of staph infection that I thought was shingles gave me a series of scars all down my side, right between my breasts and on one side of my face. I began using this two weeks ago, and each spot was anywhere from a pea size to a quarter size, red and new scar-like. I began applying twice a day to each area. Two weeks later all but the very worst scars are gone and the worst one is so faint that only I and my boyfriend can tell where it was. This has helped my ski overall too. I haven't had any new breakouts, my old acne scars are almost gone, and my skin feels amazing. This is a staple that I will buy many backups of because it is so amazing.

I had high hopes for this product because it is associated with the expensive Kinerase line. I did like the way it felt on my skin, like a serum. I have acne prone oily skin and I used this for a week and it TOTALLY broke me out! I had my acne under control using Retin-A, and oral and topical antibiotics and this stuff totally broke me out. It was the only thing I added to my regimen and so I know this stuff is to blame. Also, I bought and used the under eye recovery cream and I developed acne near my eyes! I think this stuff is best used for mature, non-acne prone skin. I hate it. My skin is finally clearing up after two weeks. I DO NOT recommend this product or the eye recover cream for anyone who is acne-prone.

I think this stuff is amazing. I have been using it for about 3 weeks now and a notice a big difference. I was using BE's cell renewal serum before which is $50 and it worked well. I noticed my skin looked much more even. But this serum works even better and it is $20 cheaper. I have no problem going out without makeup on. I have never been more happy with the appearance of my skin. I can't wait to try the other products in this line.

This was a waste of money. The products (cleanser and serum) did not work for me. I used them for four weeks and there is absolutely no change in skin tone. I am very unhappy.

I used to use Kinerase but it stopped working for me. I started using this 4 months ago and I see tremendous change in my skin. It's even toned and brighter and people also compliment me. I love it!

PROS: Helping my dark spots to lighten. Doesn't bother my sensitive skin/rosacea. No offending scent. Hasn't broke me out (and I have combo skin). Gentle but effective.


CONS: Not the cheapest (but see my application tips).


APPLICATION TIPS: I apply when my face is still wet to make it last longer (more cost effective).


ALTERNATES: I also like Dr. Lewinn's Lift and Resculpt Serum for anti-aging and antioxidant treatment.

I have oily skin and have had a lot of breakouts over the last year and a half so I bought this to clear up some of the acne scaring I got from popping pimples during that time. To test it, I washed my face, then applied it, then allowed a minute or two to dry, then put on my normal night cream. I have been using this test on just one side of my face for three weeks now. I can absolutely notice a change in the skintone and the scars. They are starting to fade and I notice a difference. This did not break me out at all. Actually, I have not had one pimple in the area I have been using this, since I have started using it. And the other side of my face has been breaking out a bit so I am going to start using it there and see if it works. I'll update but thus far I love it and it may be a staple product.

This is my first time reviewing a product since I'm usually disappointed. This product, however, is simply AMAZING!! I absolutely love it!! I have tried everything to fade my hyper pigmentation and some slight acne scars. After about two weeks of using this product I saw a significant difference in my skin. The scars were practically all faded and the hyper pigmentation could barely be noticed! I was soooo happy!! I highly recommend this product!! I have very sensitive skin and can be prone to acne. My acne is slight possibly even moderate and this product has not broken me out AT ALL, in fact I think it helped stop my occasional breakouts! Will definitely buy again! Oh and the bottle last about month and a half close to two months depending on how much you use of course.

This product is phenomenal. I could see a big difference the VERY NEXT DAY. I swear! I have used every OTC treatment and perscription treatment my dermatologist gave me. Nothing worked until this product. My derm would say "well, it takes a really long time to work....". Really? Like three years? This product is cheap too! This is unvelieveable. I hope this review can help someone else with their sun spots. It sure helped me. It has been a week 1/2 now and when I look in the mirror I just can't believe it is my face looking back at me. A true miracle.

I'm 27, have started noticing fine lines, and I also have some scarring from acne. I still get some acne as well, with some dry spots. I've been using this for about a month, and it's dramatically improved hydration and tone in my skin. It has actually made my acne much better.
I was also starting to get lines on my forhead from making expressions, but they have pretty much gone away.
Kinerase is too expensive for me, but this is in my price range, and it lasts for a long time. You can find it at Walgreens.
I highly recommend this product, not only for price, but as a supplement to your skin regimen. You can use it after toning and before moisturizing, or just by itself.

After learning that hydroquinone is a carcinogen, I have been on the search for an alternative age spot fader that actually works.

I have a considerable amount of post acne sun spots on my face, and after stopping the hydroquinone containing regimen that I was on they REALLY showed their ugly selves (I don't think it made them worse, I just think I got used to seeing myself without them...). I began the search for a tone correcter that works w/o it. THIS IS IT.

* Fragrance is fantastic, citrus.
* Packaging is great, using an eyedropper to dispense.
* It is a serum, which so far has shown to be the perfect amount of hydration for my sensitive, acne prone skin.
* Sun spots have faded considerably after only 1 week.
* Skin has more "snap", which wasn't listed on the package as one of the results, but it does.

Overall I couldn't be happier with this so far. The price is median for what you are getting (I have tried them all). I wonder how long the bottle will last, this may be a big factor. Will re-review in a month or so for progress.

Wow, I am so disappointed. This did end up making me break out, terribly, with surface pimples everywhere I applied it. I am sure this is what did it b/c I haven't changed any other part of my regimen and also I have an area on my neck that I treat for discoloration as well as my face, and in that spot I broke out really bad too, but not on other parts of my neck.

This product DOES fade skin discoloration, and quickly, but if you have acne prone sensitive skin like I do it may break you out. Beware. So bummed, b/c I really liked it at first.
