I just bought this, but I can tell it's going to be a huge favorite already. I have been using MAC fling pencils for a while now, but I run out of them SO FAST. If I didn't have a mac pro discount I would be so upset. I ran out of my last one and didn't have a backup, so I just started using powder for a few days, but I have such sparse brow "tails" that I need something with a base (pencil/gel) to grab my skin for that area.
My bestie uses the Tarte brow pencil in Taupe so I ran over to Sephora to try it, since the color is visibly lighter than Mac Fling (my only peeve). But the pencil was $19 and I have a hard time paying $9 with my discount for mac pencils since they run out so fast. I swatched this mousse since they had the same shade name, and they look identical. There wasn't a brush available for me to put the tester mousse on in store, but i used the pencil in store and the Taupe color is PERFECT for my light blonde hair and light blonde brows.
The mousse is in a tiny pot but I've used it twice and there's no dent at all, meanwhile after using a pencil twice it would always have to be pushed up already. In the time it will take me to finish this $28 pot, I would have easily gone through 5-6 or more $9 mac pencils (or $19 tarte pencils if i switched)
Love this. It comes with a brush with an angled brush and a spooly (which is great but I prefer my mac ones). Repurchase.

I thought I was really going to like this, but alas not, I bought the ash, be warned it seems ash in the pot but definitely leaves a very warm haze so not good with my NC45 skin. I think the Make Up Forever brow makeup in the tube is far superior and has a better range of colors. This isn't bad but for twenty-eight dollars it should be better and definitely should come with a better brush as the one with it is really cheaply made.

I definitely think I've found my HG brow product. I discovered this after purchasing MUFE aqua brow but did not like it so I went to return it. Upon walking into sephora to return it a SA came up to me and asked if I needed anything. I let her know I wanted to return the aqua brow and that's when she led me to the tarte brow mousse. Funny thing is I've actually been looking for a gel like brow product that wasnt crazy dark like most are. Anyways I exchanged my aqua brow for this and I'm absolutely IN LOVE. The color is amazing (I got medium brown) a great dark brown without any red undertones. It wears FOREVER. ive slept with this one and it doesn't budge. It's extremely easy to work with and can make u have a natural looking brow or a defined one which is what I like. Phew that was long lol definitely try this!!!!

I purchased the brow mousse in rich brown and I am very pleased with this product. I have black eyebrows but I have had trouble finding the perfect colour to match my black eyebrows without any reddish undertones or being too dark thus, causing a harsh brow. Alitte does go a long way but you can always create a more natural brow or a bit of a dramatic one. This will probably last me a fairly long time and I would definitely repurchase.

This stays on even through my country's humid tropical weather. I use a smaller angled brush with it, though, instead of the brush it came with.

I am in love with this stuff! I have generally sparse brows and this was my first foray into eyebrow maintenance. I have always wanted more dramatic eyebrows, but have been afraid to draw them on for fear of looking like an eighty-year-old woman (this might have something to do with my eighty-six-year-old neighbor who once drew on her eyebrows in turquoise by mistake). I had tried using matte eyeshadows to give my eyebrows a little more life, but that did not work out so well. I could not get the shadow to last or to stay in place; it was blurry by the end of the day. FInally I invested my money in this, thinking it was going to be a bust. On top of that, I was afraid that since it was waterproof, I would not be able to get it off. Au contraire, upon first application I was hooked. The dual-ended brush was of great help and is easy to use and clean. The brow mousse itself (I purchased it in taupe) is smooth, blends well, does not smudge easily. It looks natural, stays in place all day (and I mean ALL day) and washes off easily with cleanser. The container is small (super small) with only a little bit of product; but the tiniest amount will go far here. Because of its size, it is easily portable, which is a plus. The only comment I would like to make about color choice is that the taupe is a reddish blonde (quite reddish, actually), which will not match everyone. I happen to have red hair and it looks completely natural, more so than a regular taupe would.
I am one-hundred percent satisfied with my purchase. I will definitely repurchase when I run out. Thank you Tarte!

This stuff is amazing! Brows are my least fav doing makeup. I don't like to spend too much time on my brows so I was looking for something that's easy to use and effective at defining them. It's really pigmented, after drawing them with few strokes, I use the spoolie to blend in the colors to look more natural. It's so quick and easy. I had this product over a year and it has not dried out yet. I purchased the Rich Brown which it very dark brown with no reddish undertones which I have been looking for. I haven't tested under water but I have pretty oily skin and it stays on all day.

I'm really liking this. Looks great if you like bold brows, but I find its harder to make it look more natural (powder is better for natural look IMO). I got rich brown which is a very dark blackish brown with no reddish hues. Very easy to use with brush included but I sometimes use an Anastasia Beverly Hills brush for finer details since the tarte one can be a bit bulky. Not too smudgy and seems to set well, but if you smeared your hand across it, it would probably transfer a bit. Comes off easily with makeup remover. Decent amount for a decent price.

Nothing works perfect for me because of an illness I really only have about 1/2 inch of my original brow. My skin has become so hairless and rather silky there is nothing for makeup to adhere to. This so far has done the best and I have some eyebrow still there when I get home after a long day.

I've been using this product since it first launched, which I believe was in July with the fall collection, and I can not go a day without using it. I am IN LOVE with this product. It is quite difficult to find a dark brown brow product with not even this slightest hint of red. I have this in the dark brown shade and the color is exactly what I've been searching for. Stays on perfectly until I am ready to remove my make up at the end of the day. I love that you can get both a very natural or more dramatic brow with this product. This changed my life. I would absolutely repurchase when the time comes, though it'll be a while considering I've used it every day since I purchased it and have barely made a dent in it!
I rated the product a two as far as price because for $22, you are getting an amazing product that wears incredibly and the jar will last you at LEAST two years, and you also get a fantastic double ended brow brush which could probably retail around $20 on it's own if they wanted it to. I highly recommend this product!
