Perfect foundation brush! I purchased Sigma's Sythetic Kabuki Kit (the 4-piece) and I've used this brush the most.

My primary foundation right now is Revlon Colorstay Whipped. I use this to dip in the jar, scrape the excess off the side, and buff the foundation into my skin. It gives such a perfect finish. I was afraid that using a foundation brush would cause me to use up more product but the opposite is true. The brush does a much better job than my fingers or a sponge at distributing the smallest bit of foundation evenly.

I've also used this with liquid foundations (Rimmel Lasting Finish, ELF Studio HD) and it's done a stellar job. Highly, HIGHLY recommend this brush!

I absolutely LOVE my F82 brush! It's dense enough to blend products evenly, not to mention super soft. I ordered the brush directly from Sigma Beauty for $18 (plus $2.92 for shipping). It came in a cute little package and took about 4-5 days to receive. I've purchased other face brushes for over $30 and they don't even begin to compare to Sigma's quality. Also, I can't attest to the longevity of the brush, but if you can buy 2 for the price of 1 Mac brush, it's definitely worth it.

Before I discovered the delights of the Cosmo Sponge and the Beauty Blender, I used to religiously use the Sigma F82 for foundation application. It's a great round-headed dense brush that gave that nice, flawless finish look to my foundation, and I loved that the round head fitted perfectly under my eyes and around my nose. I've also used it for powders, it really buffs it in, and the bristles don't feel scratchy on the skin. I'd say if you were debating getting the F80 or the F82, the F82 is the better option. I don't think I'll ever go back to using a brush for foundation application, but it's a useful brush to have.

My second favourite foundation brush, after the angled kabuki. Great brush! Super dense, easy to wash, doesn't lose shape, never sheds, doesn't absorb too much product. Not much to say, really, except that the Sigma brushes are totally worth it!

This was my first Sigma purchase, and I'm over the moon! This is by far the best round top brush I have tried. I never really purchased anything from Sigma because I have a bunch of staple brushes (mostly by MAC) and I never saw anything I needed. I was intrigued by the new brushes they released, and decided to get this. This brush is amazing for powder foundation! its buffs it in beautifully, leaving a soft airbrushed finish- not dry and cakey. I love using this with MAC Studio Fix Powder, MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural, Ben Nye's Banana Visage powder, Kryolans Anti-Shine powder & my Chanel loose powder. This brush picks up product and beautifully sets your makeup like a dream. The round top is also perfect for blending out harsh edges from blush or contouring- I'm a bit heavy with blush haha :D but this little baby made it looked blended and seamless :O I'm waiting for another round top & an angled flat top from another company (I like a variety of brushes) but so far, Sigma is amazing :) The price was also so reasonable! I have some MAC brushes that where way to overpriced, and do not compare to this brush at all. I live in Canada, and shipping took 2 weeks, and Sigma was having a free shipping promo. I'm very pleased with this purchase. I can also see the difference in my skin when I take photographs, some of my friends thought I had airbrushed them! nope, it was this brush! so thrilled that I tried this out :)

Favorite foundation brush ever! Most people prefer the flat top kabuki, but the round top works better for me. Great design, dense bristles, but extremely soft! I love it.

My second fave in the Synthetic Kabuki line from Sigma! Use it for applying liquid foundation and blending out concealer. Very easy to use, gives a beautiful effect to the skin, making it look flawless. It really does make the foundation offer its best coverage while still looking natural as its blended into the skin. Thoroughly recommend

I purchased a set of brushes and the F82 was one of them. I use this with liquid foundation. I have no complaints about this brush. It applies foundation on the face well and it does not shed. The grip of the bristles to the brush funnel is quite strong. The effect is comparable to what you get with a MAC 187 stippling brush except that MAC brushes are very costly. The MAC 187, for instance, is about $80. The F82 is capable of giving you an effect that is similar to the Shiseido foundation brush which retails for $40 in Singapore. I read reviews which said that it was difficult to wash foundation off the F82 and that it took very long to dry the brushes. Perhaps, the foundation one uses and how pigmented it is determines how long and how difficult it is to wash the brush. II wash the F82 with a little facial soap (the Bobbi Brown lathering soap) and the foundation comes off quite quickly. I spend no more than a few minutes to swirl the bristles in a drop of facial soap and wash it under running water. It does not take days to dry the bristle. Here, in sunny Singapore, it takes about half a day for the brush to be fully dry. I bought the brushes for about $63. That works out to approximately $13 for each brush. Individual brushes without any discount cost $19 here. They have to be bought online because I do not know of any store that sells them here. For the price you pay for this, the F82 is worth the purchase.

F80, 84 and 82

love them all. Prefer the angled F84 if pushed but not really tried the F82 for liquid foundation yet as I love the other two so much. They are all great better than Real Techniques by a mile.

Huge improvement on the F80; I prefer this one by far. It's just easier to use. It packs on powder or foundation just as flawlessly, but somehow glides over my face without removing any product. Buffs well, stipples well. Cleans surprisingly fast - the tips are left white in no time.. dries much faster than the F80. It's basically everything I wanted my F80 to be, but just wasn't. Sigma definitely got it right with this one!

I love this brush! I have been looking for a brush to use with liquid foundation and now my search is over. Foundation goes on flawlessly. I love how soft the brush is yet firm enough to get the job done. You won't regret getting this brush, a great investment.

I love love love this brush! This brush is super dense, does not shed, and it applies my liquid foundation as well as mineral foundation so smoothly and evenly! It takes awhile for this brush to dry, but that doesn't really bother me because this is such a good quality brush. Well worth the purchase!

This is my holy grail foundation brush! It an amazing job of applying foundation evenly all over the face. Also, I've washed it about ten times and it doesn't shed very much. However, I find it that it takes a while to thoroughly clean the brush since its very dense and it takes a while to dry.

I love this brush! I honestly don't know how I went so long without a good brush like this! Mineral foundation applies like a dream with this brush, and its super soft not to mention dense! The only complaint I do have is now after I washed it I feel like it can get bent and misshapen easily but that just may be because I am trying to take care of something I'm not used to. But anyway, it is kinda small when you take it out at first, so don't be alarmed and it kinda has a funky smell but you get used to it. It is totally worth it, I'm even thinking about getting a back up of it to make sure I always have one handy!

I am so in love with this brush right now! I use powder foundation the majority of the time. Some brushes either pick up too much product and apply too heavily. Others don't blend enough and it looks like the powder is sitting on top of my skin. This brush is perfect. It picks up enough for a flawless looking finish without looking at all heavy or cakey. It has really soft bristles and has not shed at all so far. The price on this was pretty reasonable too. I think I will buy another for backup since I love this brush so much!

I bought this brush, because I loved my F80 the flat top Kabuki. Shipping was super fast I got my brushes in two days. I loved this brush but idk if I got bad ones the rattle lil crazy and I feel like theyre about to pop off the handle. I emailed sigma but havent gotten a response. I would repurchase these if I get good ones that arent about to pop off the handles.

I don't know how I have applied foundation for the past 2 years without using this brush! I purchased this on the sigma website, it came in a duo along with the F86. I absolutely love this brush. It blends in any foundation so flawlessly that it almost looks like I have perfect skin. Since the size is a little smaller it's also perfect to help blend in foundation or concealer around smaller areas such as around my nose or chin. This helps me apply my makeup so much quicker, before I bought this brush I would use a sponge and wet it then proceed with applying my foundation. I hated the typical flat brushes because it would apply so streaky and take so much time to blend out. But with these Sigmax brushes it only takes a matter of minutes and I'm finished. Washing this brush can be a little pain in the butt, I remember the first time I washed it about 4-5 times to make sure all the foundation/color left on the bristles were gone. I generally wash my brushes at night and by the time I get up it's dry so I don't have any issues with it taking too long to dry. Overall, I highly recommend this brush. Applies foundation quickly while giving that airbrushed look.
