this is a pretty good foundation and a cheap compared to other foundations at sephora. it gives good coverage and blends well. it covers all my acne and acne scars. it tends to cake up after a while of wearing it.
i like to mix it with other lighter foundations because it can be kind of heavy/thick. one thing great about it is that this bottle will last you FOREVER, even when it looks like your out.. nope you still got a months worth left.

I'm so sad that this foundation doesn't work for me! It's fairly cheap (as far as high-end foundations go, at least) and wore beautifully! I applied it with my fingers, a sponge, and a flat-top brush and I found that my fingers have me the best coverage. It was dewy and made my skin radiant but felt very lightweight. I was thrilled with my skin. Until I woke up the next day. I was horrified to find the WORST breakout I have EVER had. It had to be from this foundation, considering I changed nothing else in my routine and it was the wrong time for a hormonal breakout. I am so bummed! I'm giving it to my mom, maybe it will work on different skin types!

I actually really like this foundation. I mean, it is totally orange and cakey when first applied but if you just work with it and take some time to blend it out (I do this with my Real Techniques Expert Face Brush), then it ends up looking really good. I would say the coverage is high and the foundation imparts a subtle dewy sheen that I like a lot. I don't think this foundation would work for anyone who doesn't have yellow undertones. Oh, and I use the shade Clair Light 05. Overall I really like this foundation, more for nights out than daytime wear just because of the high coverage. I won't repurchase this foundation because I'm pretty sure it's discontinued but also because it's not the best foundation out there. I got it on sale at Sephora for about $10 and in that context I'm really pleased with this foundation.

I bought this on sale at Sephora for $5! I LOVED it the minute I applied it!! It's full coverage, so I only needed a little to cover all my acne scars and hyper-pigmentation. It went on smooth, blended well, and left a beautiful velvet finish. It didn't emphasize any of my dry spots, which the majority of foundations do. It had great staying power as well. The only con so far was the crappy packaging that left the cap falling off all the time. I went back to Sephora THE NEXT DAY to buy two more before they sold out of my shade since they were so dirt cheap. I was ready to toss my MUFE HD in a corner.
HOWEVER, over the first few days, I noticed cystic acne starting to form. I didn't mind the first three zits since my face was clear otherwise, but the more I used it, the more my skin broke out. And not just terrible cystic acne, but strange bumps along my chin and cheeks. But I was determined and used it for a few more weeks thinking my skin would adjust. It didn't and so after a month, I had to lay this foundation to rest.
Now all three bottles sit in my makeup box, tempting me to just give it a try again because of how flawless it looked, but I really don't feel like waiting another month to heal my skin after. It may claim to be oil- and paraben-free, but it sure beat my skin with an ugly stick. I'm jealous of anyone who didn't break out :(

So...Hazelnut is my "summer color" foundation - I love the coverage it provides, it photographs beautifully (no white ashen tones), it doesn't break my skin out, it's the perfect amount of yellow, doesn't oxidize on my super oily, acne-prone skin.. HOWEVER. I have yet to find a primer that works well with this. Ordinarily, I'm not a primer girl but this foundation had me looking and feeling like a greaseball after just an hour. In the humid DC summer days, my skin already oils and greases up, so you can only imagine my pain at this ghastly discoball effect. I'm talking about completely greasing up a blotting sheet after an hour and a half. I've tried Iman's primer and Sephora's primer underneath but to no avail. Tomorrow I'll try Laura Mercier's and if that doesn't work I might actually have to go old-school and use MOM (milk of magnesia) underneath and see if that works out any better. Wouldn't buy it again just because it got discontinued... but got it for a fiver at my Sephora so I can't complain about that! One pump truly is enough for good coverage on my acne-scarred skin.

I got this in no.25-beige. For ref I use ELDW in Tawny, MAC PLW in NC35, Rev CS in 330 + 310, Bourjois Healthy Mix in No.55. I have very oily skin, I have moderate acne scarring and I live in a tropical climate. The reason why I include my skin type and coloring is because when choosing a new foundation, I rely on MUA to get my right shade. SAs frequently matched me to a shade too dark.
Anyway, I love the texture ...it is almost mousse-like and so airy. Very lightweight and offers a medium to full coverage. Great at covering my moderate acne scarring and I didnt need concealer. And for a full cover foundation this is supremely airy. It blends well and the color I picked was an exact match, it wasnt too yellow orangey on me, the undertone is yellow but not MAC yellow. It blends into my skin and become almost undetectable. It doesnt get cakey even after layering, it literally adapted into my skin. Did not highlight my flakies and did not leave me looking flat as it has almost a satiny finish.Did not oxidize on my supremely oily skin.
This would have been my HG foundation had it not been for the bad staying power. I mean...damn it...damn it..damn it...It stayed on less than four hours and then it started disappearing. I was in an air conditioned room the whole time!.......If you are looking for a medium to full coverage foundation that isnt cakey and If you have normal to dry skin. This might work well for you. But on me, this lasted a mere 4 hours. Worst staying power I have ever seen in a foundation....Other than the staying power....this is aaaaaaaaammmmmmazing. So give this a go if you have normal to dry skin. This might work for you.

I have grown to hate this product. It seemed to go on well in the store, but now seems orangy and greasy as I continue to use it. I may blend it with my Cover Girl Aquasmooth to tone down the oil and color. Wouldn't buy it again.

I normally don't wear liquid foundation. Only for going out at night and special occasions. I contemplated getting Make Up For Ever's HD foundation, but I got samples of that and Sephora's foundation and didn't find much difference. I love how this foundation looks on my skin. It does everything that much more expensive foundations (like Dior) have done. The 35 Tan color is a perfect match for my skin. It's light to medium coverage that can be built up. With setting powder, this can last all day.

Overall Rating: I gave this product a 4 because its a really good product for me, but if you go without a good primer, it will settle in fine lines and pores. Other than that, it's a really product. It has medium coverage, and its easy to blend.
Price: Get it now since it's on sale ! It's half off, and such a great deal for this foundation ! This is a oil- free, paraben- free, and fragrance free foundation, who doesn't love their foundation without all these three things ?
Packaging Quality: The pump works great for me, I love the simple and sleek packaging. The pump however, doesn't have a tube attached to it, which you may think is weird. But its actually because as you use the product, there is a platform at the bottom of the bottle that will push the product up as you use it up. That way, you don't waste any product. The cap however, comes off pretty easily. But, other than that, it's a great packaging!
I hope this review helped, and this is a really great foundation that you should really try out !(:

I got a sample of this. It is not my correct color so I did mix it with another foundation to make it work. I do not know if that changed it too much for me to give a complete review of it or not. I do like this foundation though. I think for the price it gives good, even coverage that lasts. I would like to try this again in my correct shade and see if my review changes any.

I just bought this today, tried it on when i came home and applied with an elf studio blush brush. It took about two full pumps to get full coverage. One pump seems like it distributes too much product, but the product is in the watery side. The foundation is very blendable, doesnt feel greasy/oily, and doesnt take a long time to dry. This foundation is oil free so its good for all oily skinned and acne prone skin. Thats a big pro for me, another is that it is paraben free! I wish this was fragrance free... i instantly noticed a strong smell once applied and ive been wearing this for three hours and i still have a headache because of the scent. Thats probably the biggest con. I love how it covers acne and acne marks perfectly. This isnt cakey to heavy. After three bottles of estee lauder double wear, i decided to switch because i was tired of the cakey look abd having a tough time everg single night removing this. I got this for $11 at sephora i guess this is going to be discontinued soon because the original price was $26. Ill update on whether or not i break out, how easily it is to wash off, and how long this wears. But so far i really like it.
EDIT: this product DID break me out. how did i know? i obviously started getting pimples, but i did have to blend this down my neck and i got about 2 pimples on my neck and i havent used any new products besides this on my neck. the second time i used this foundation the scent was not as strong. the wearing time is good for like 6-8 hours. to get ALL the product is a bit difficult. i have switched to revlon colorstay. im returning this foundation because the shade was a lil dark anyways and bc of everything i added in my edit. im giving this a 2, instead of a 4.

I have very acne prone oily skin, but this covered my blemishes very well, and has great long lasting coverage, although I have to used blotting wipes 1-2 times at day at school. I have been looking for a long time to find a foundation that works for me, and I think this might be it! It has a great pump but the top can come off very easily if you carry it in your purse or something. IT CAN BE VERY ORANGE IF YOU HAVE THE WRONG COLOR. When I went to Sephora, I asked them to do a foundation check where they actually put some on my face to check that the tones match, and it looks fabulous. Overall, a great product!

I love this product, but I can not find a color light enough for me. I tried it at Sephora and went out to an event and was not able to blot or touch up all night really (which was about 4 hours) and I put power on once all night. Would recommend this product

This foundation didn't really go well with my oily skin. First of all I didn't like how it dries so quickly and it was really hard to blend. My skin looked good at first but within a couple off hours my skin would get oily and it would oxidise and slide off my face making it look so disgusting. This foundation is definately NOT for oily skin.

My best friend recently bought this and I wanted to give it a try. It was terrible!! It just sat on my face, enhancing any fine hair I had. I am 20, without a trace of a wrinkle, but this foundation settled into my laugh line creases. It looked like I was wearing stage makeup to make me look 10 years older. It was terrifying. I couldn't wait to get home and wash it off. It was oily and transferred everywhere.

I have mixed feelings about this foundation. Let me start off by saying I have OILY, ACNE-PRONE SKIN! I have tried everything from NARS, MAC, BOBBY BROWN, MUFE HD,to REVLON COVER GIRL, etc. My skin has been acting up real REAL bad lately, I have acne scarring, and cystic acne (again). I used it once, and the next day I had pimples on the apples of my cheeks. BUT I love the COVERAGE and STAYING POWER. I used to blot atleast 3-5 times a day, with this I blot about 2x. The finish is matte, so if you have dry skin, I definetly would not recommend this. I am trying to work on my skin before I can really really rate this product.. Because I want to LOVE IT! TRUST ME, if you have oily skin, and not acne prone, GO FOR IT! THE PRICE IS JUST RIGHT!

I have been very pleased with this product. I have acne marks, and this covers great. I would usually use compact makeup because it would cover these marks better, but now that I've found this liquid, I might switch over completely. This is expensive, but it matches my skin tone perfectly and it only takes one to two pumps to get the coverage I want.

I bought this a couple days ago and loved it. Not only is reasonably priced (I used to pay $32.00/bottle for another brand), but it gives coverage and has great staying power. My skin can get a bit oily from time to time and this product stays place for me. One thing I will point out, though, is that you gotta blend it in right away. If you don't, the product gets very cakey very quickly and won't go on as smoothly. Great buy, though!

This foundation wasn't perfect coverage like the name suggests but I really love this. It gives a medium coverage and it's very liquidy so easy to blend out. My skin looked very natural and evenly coloured after applying this foundation and it was not cakey at all like most foundation/concealer look on my skin. The foundation photographs very well and it doesn't break me out or worsen acnes. I liked how it came with a pump and a lid because it really keeps the germs out that way. Also this foundation will last you for a long time
