Totally devoted to these eyeliners since day one. You do need a primer as it creases like crazy. Regardless of my eye color i have bought almost all shades. Recently saw a trio - the smokey nudes with platinum liner (sigh) went back and it was gone. Always used a coupon and bought on sale too. I use a brush to define the line after applying, I've also smudged it at the ends to elongate my eyes using same brush. Paraben free is a requirement for what goes on my face. These are a keeper.

I freakin' LOVE these pencils!!! I have always had oily lids and have never, ever been able to use a liner pencil for two reasons: 1. They'd smear and 2. I could never get down into my lash roots with a pencil (and that is a HUGE makeup peeve of mine). The new breed of liners - gel pencils - hit the market and I loved their staying powder, but I'm terrible at sharpening the !#$@ things! And still, the point was never fine enough for me to get down into my lashline (I have a bit of an edge at my lashbase that requires either a very sharp pencil point or a brush, which is why I've always loved and used gel liners). I first bought a set of these PF liners and it was LOVE, omg. The tip is small, the shades are amazing, they are automatic, the line lasts all day long in any weather and I can tightline with them and my eyes don't water (hello Prestige Total Intensity) and there's no transfer to my lower waterline. I have nearly every shade set and keep a black and brown pencil my beau's house too. I use the lighter shades beneath my lower lashes (and it LASTS). I do wish PF would make a TEAL color group! Love the blue, the green, the purple, the smoky, the nude; in spite of the name "Shimmer Strips" the shimmer is not terribly obvious, if it is at all. The colors are rich and pigmented. I have a serious passion for these things, you guys! Whenever they're on sale I buy more. I hope my gel pots don't dry up, but it's just too easy and effective to grab one of these PF pencils, line and go!
You've got to try them!

I've gone through two sets of these in a span of about three years. Because I'm just not sure if it's worth it. I love these things for several reasons. They really do enhance your natural eye colour. It's fun having the different style suggestions on the box and using the different colours in different ways to experiment with a variety of looks from natural to dramatic. They go on easy. They don't clump up or smudge too bad. All around, they are awesome. I'm a very serious eyeliner girl. I can abandon all my other products if the occassion calls for it, but not my eyeliner! The one thing I really hate about these that makes me debate buying them again is the fact that they use up so fast. I'd rather have a proper pencil that requires a sharpener than these enfuriating plastic twister things! It sounds like a good idea, but it really isn't. You loose too much product to the plastic clicking thing. If you twist up too much of the product, it will just snap off when it touches your skin! It's impossible to know how much is two much because I've had even tiny chunks jump out of the tube! You have to be careful not to drop these or let them rattle around too much with other products in a makeup bag. It breaks the delicate eyeliner inside. It's basically like a mechanical pencil that you twist instead of press. And you know how finicky those are! It's a good idea in theory, but for the amount that I use eyeliner - everyday - I'm just not convinced this is the way to go.

I have this in the Nude pack with a nude pencil, a shimmery black and a shimmery brown. It smudges on me within the hour and the texture is very dry to work with. The shimmer makes it unsuitable for use on waterline. I would not repurchase.

Two Shimmer Strips eyeliners were included as a bonus in another product I purchased. One was Espresso: a rich, dark brown. The second was Illuminating Black: standard black. These liners are best for use under the eye, IMO. The configuration is a thin, twist-up style that is rather fragile but very lasting on the skin. They are a little on the soft side so you have to be careful not to press too hard to avoid crumbling/breakage. For this type of delicate eyeliner, this one performs well.

I really like the look of these liners, however nearly minutes after applying them I had puffy eyes and a stuffy nose. I have never been allergic to anything nor have I experienced a reaction like this to make up so watch out!

I normally love Physicians Formula. Have purchased so many of their products. This one however is a very big leg-down. Every time I went to twist it or sharpen it, it would crumble. The purple eyeliner in my trio wasn't very easy to put on and you couldn't see it very well. Bottom line is this one is a dud. Sorry Physican's Formula, have much love for this brand as it is my fav but not this particular product.

Three words: I can't even.
These eyeliners are absolutely amazing. I bought both the Nude and Brown eye trios. I swatched a few on the back of my hand and ran them under water while rubbing them REALLY hard. Of course, they faded the slightest bit since I was pretty much sloughing of dead skin cells, but otherwise, the line didn't move AT ALL. VERY impressive. Next, I lined my eye with the Champagne shade from the Nude set. Champagne is a light, somewhat shimmery brown but ever since I first started wearing makeup, I always used the blackest blacks for eyeliners and mascara, so of course, I was hesitant about buying these initially. But even the lightest shade made my eyes look bolder without being obvious that I was wearing makeup, which was shocking. Then, I tried rubbing the eyeliner off with a wet paper towel and the eyeliner stayed put. For someone with oily Asian eyelids, this was like a miracle!! Now I don't have to worry about raccoon eyes throughout the day. These lines really just stay put unless you use makeup remover to wipe them off. Surprisingly, it doesn't take that much makeup remover to wipe these off unlike some other eyeliners, so that was also a plus. I am completely sold. I will probably be purchasing these for the rest of my life :)

Amazing eyeliner -- can't believe how long these stay on without smudging! I usually line the top lids with liquid liner and my bottoms with these and I am good for the day without needing any touch-ups! I got the nude trio. I don't usually wear liner on my waterline, but I have with these before and they lasted much longer than other brands that I've tried. My eyes are watery - I wear contacts and I have not had much luck with liners on the waterline, but this was was pretty good! Love the twist up design -- no need for a sharpener! I highly recommend!

Wow these eyeliners are actually quite smudge resistant. I got the one for blue eyes. The blue is a medium shimmery blue color and it comes with a shimmery tan and a slightly shimmery black! I think the colors are really pretty, I got this because It was on sale and I didnt have a blue eye liner so thought I would try. They apply easy and stay on really well (no smears!). I like em. These are actually pretty cheap considering you get three eyeliners in a pack! I like that! :)

These eyeliners apply easily and stay on ALL DAY.

These wonderfully eyeliners were definitely a hit for me. I bought them on a whim and had no idea they would be this good. What impressed me the most was the long wearing ability. Things tend to smudge easily on my eyes but this little gem is smudge free. It's waterproof and rub free too! The one thing I don't like is that they come in a pack of 3, there's bound to be one useless color, at least for me, I don't use colorful eye pencils so there's always one color that will go to waste.

I tried this around a year ago and i have repurchased it 4-5 times! I absolutely love this, and it is my all time favorite pencil eyeliner. Overall it is #2 after the Mac Blacktrack Fluidline. I have brown eyes so i bought this for brown eyes initially. I love all the colors but black had the best staying power and brown the least. I used all 3 eyeliner up completely. They were the only ones that could stay the whole day without smudging under my eyes or going to my inner/outer corner.
On the waterline, they actually last a really long time. I used to apply this with black eyeshadow over it to set it and it lasted around 6 hours!
I also did a smudge test with all my eyeliners on the back of my hand including the milani liquifeye and several other popular eyeliners and this one stayed on the back of my hand no matter how much i rubbed! I ran it under cold as well as warm water and they did NOT come off
Each eyeliner had tiny purple shimmers in them that made my eyes look a lot more awake/bright. I absolutely love them.
Another day at target i noticed it was buy one get one free. They only had one pack for brown eyes, so i decided to try the blue eyes one. I mean, it was free!
I opened the eyeliner for blue eyes first simply because i wanted to see if they were the same. I expected the brown to be the same brown in the brown eyes package. However, it was a lighter brown with more golden/taupe undertones and more shimmer. I fell in love with it immediately and it is my favorite color of eyeliner! I cannot even explain how pretty the color of eyeliner was, and how natural looking it is!
Next time i will repurchase the trio for blue eyes, because of the brown. The black and blue were very basic but had the same staying power and were absolutely amazing.
I recommend this to everybody! I bought it at walmart around 9 dollars, so each eyeliner was 3 dollars which is an amazing deal! At target i got buy one get one free for 9 dollars which was $1.50 for each eyeliner! Amazing staying power and amazing colors!
EDIT: In the summer this lasts even longer than Mac's black track fluidline! In the winter the fluidline has better staying power but for some reason this holds up EXTREMELY well in the heat

I like the twist up, crayon eyeliners a lot. But this trio just didn't work for me. I didn't twist it up too high or anything, but the product breaks a lot. I wouldn't recommend them!

I had incredibly low expectations for this product. In fact, I'm not even sure why I picked it up, except that they were having a BOGO sale and I wanted the pearly highlighter also from PF. I tried them out this morning - black on the top lid and purple underneath, and then swatched all three on the back of my hand. It's been 6 hours, and the lines on my eyes are still pristine, and the swatches on the back of my hand haven't budged (although they faded about 50% after I washed my hands with soap and hot water - but the line is still crisp).
So the biggest thing about these - my very favorite point - is that they don't make my eyes water. Everything makes my eyes water, and so it's just a matter of time before I cry off at least the outer edges of my eyeliner, and it has to be reapplied. Not a problem with these. I'm really excited about this!

I was very disappointed that these didn't work for me. I purchased these for "Brown Eyes" because I was looking for a pencil liner that did not smudge and MUA reviews sounded promising, but these smudged anyways!
They do glide on easily but smudge off easily as well. However, there is a faint trace of color left behind that is harder to smudge off, but it's not enough color to be happy about.
My lids are oily and despite using my primer (UDPP), this eyeliner will still smudge.
Also, the purple comes out a tad bit lighter than what is shown on the packaging.

So i got these for the blue eyes, and i must say it's one of the best makeup purchases i've made in a long time.
PROS:
excellent long lasting power
doesn't melt (i live in the tri-state area... not TOO humid)
beautiful pigmentation
So on the package there's one thing i noticed that was kind of funny. Under the blue eyeliner look it says natural and under the brown-bronze it says playful... lol i think they should be switched. I like how they glide on so smoothly and last all day long. When i'm at school and can't reapply every moment and have a mirror handy to check whether or not i have raccoon eyes, lastability is VITAL to my eyeliner. My only con is that i wish the bronze color was a little less... yellowy... not that it's SUPER yellow it's just that i wish it was a little more brown.

Drug store products often failed to impress me, but on a whim I picked up the Physician Formula Shimmer strips eye liners for brown eyes. The trio comes with a black, brown and a purple eyeliner. Boy was I impressed. I have oily lids which translates to all eyeliners migrating and smudging every where through out the day. So I try not to use liner if possible, but I find the face isn't complete without eye liner. I have tried the 24/7 eyeliners from Urban Decay, FAIL. The Shu Uemura gel liners are ok, but I was only able to get a couple of hours of wear. Same thing with the Stila Smudge pots. But a surprise find was the PF shimmer stripes. I can swear that these babies all day and they do not budge!! I will be repurchasing! They retail for about $20 for 3, so technically that is $6.67 which is cheap compared to the 25/7 from UD.
Don't be afraid of the word shimmer in the title, there is no shimmer what so ever. The formula is perfect, not too creamy like the UD or too dry like the eyeliners from Guerlain.
Check out my blog for a more detailed review and swatches:

I love these eyeliners, especially for the price! For about $10, you get three full size eyeliners! Not bad at all, especially since you get a good black and can experiment with fun colors. I have the trio for blue eyes, which comes with a black, a medium bronzy brown, and a medium blue.
Pros:
-Great lasting power! It's virtually waterproof and does not smudge at all! I always have problems with eyeliner smudging on my lower lash line, and this does not whatsoever.
-Great colors.
-The black is a dark black, with a slight blue undertone and subtle blue shimmer. I hardly notice the shimmer at all, to be honest. I use it like a matte black.
-The brown is medium and quite bronze, which is very flattering for blue eyes. It's also not too bold for days when you want your eye look to be less intense. I do see the shimmer in the brown a bit more, but nothing too crazy.
-The blue is medium in color with not much noticeable shimmer. It's not a dark blue-black at all, but it's great for a pop of color.
-I love automatic eyeliners, so it's a win for me!
-You can sharpen the tip with the build-in sharpeners at the base of the eyeliners.
-Great value!
Cons:
-The shades could stand to be a bit darker, but I'm not complaining since I prefer a more natural look anyway.
-The subtle shimmer might be a negative for some people, but I rather like it. Keep in mind that the shimmer is NOT chunky glitter.
-The eyeliners could stand to go on a bit more smoothly. These don't glide as readily was other eyeliners, but since the staying power is so good, I'm not complaining.
All in all, good quality product and worth the money. I will repurchase these for blue eyes when I run out. I would also like to try the ones for green eyes.
