I was impressed by the tester and the colour payoff this product gives you. It's not a lipstick, obviously, but it gives you a nicely pigmented but natural-looking colour. That, and it was on sale at a reasonable price, so I got it in Cherry Me.

Unfortunately, there's where the good times ended.

This balm does something I can't stand. The one thing a balm a should never, ever do. It dries out your lips. I don't know if it's a cheap ingredient they use, or a "keep buying this product" ploy, but it's one of the worst offenders I've ever encountered! I usually use a different, untinted balm and I apply 2-3 times a day during the winter in my dry office. I ran out today and fished the Baby Balm out of my purse (I had only used it a few times previously when I needed colour). It does provide immediate relief of dry lips. But after an hour, your lips feel dry and wrinkly again. Now, after a half-day of this, my lips feel and wrinkled and chapping. I've used it for half a day and this is the worst my lips have felt all winter. I can actually feel the greasiness of the balm on my lips, but underneath it, my lips feel like they are one smile away from splitting.

So, back in the purse this goes, to be used very occasionally when I need just a bit of colour. I certainly would not buy this again and expect to eventually throw it away, feeling thoroughly defeated.

This is one of the most drying tinted lip balms I've ever tried. The color payoff is good for a balm, but that's the only positive thing I can say about this product. Within 20 minutes after applying, my lips feel extremely dry and have a strange texture even though the balm is still slick. I tried applying more but that just made them feel worse. There are much nicer tinted balms on the market. I wouldn't recommend this one.

I have the pink punch and my teen daughter has cherry me, we both like these lipbalms, inexpensive, moisturizing for lips. Will def be buying these again and some new colors too.

I got mine in color Peach Kiss and it looks pretty, moisturizers well and it makes my lips naturally glowing. The reason I'm giving 4 out 5 is because I wasn't impressed by this lip balm, there're way better alternatives but this one gets the job done as well. I'm yet to try out Peppermint, Pink Punch and Grape Vine.

Doesn't moisturize, which is the whole reason I would wear a lip balm instead of lipstick. Pigment is pitiful, can barely tell I even have anything on at all. Packaging is cute with the clear cap. I don't understand the hype behind this at all. I much prefer Nivea's fruity shine lip balms.

I absolutely LOVE Baby Lips! I find it perfect for school and it gives me just enough pigment to last through out the day. The only problem I have with this balm is that it is pricey.
Hope this helps!

I like the tint that it gives. I have the cherry color one and it looks pretty nice on. It gives me ok moisture but not enough for my dry lips. It's a good quick option for lip tint!

The first one I bought was Cherry Me. It plumped up my lips and moisturised really well. It gave a slight sheen which I loved as it looked super natural. When I ran out, I bought Pink Punch as Cherry Me wasn't available. There was a hugeee difference. I hated the awful purple cast which didn't suit my NC 35 complexion at all. It did moisturise my lips but wore off after 2 hours and made my lips even drier. The third one I got was from their Electro range in the shade Pink Shock. Wasn't as good as Cherry Me but still nice. Waiting for Cherry me to be restocked :(

I have the one in 15 Cherry Me.
Here are a few pros and cons so this review is easier to read

Pros:
1. Nice cherry scent
2. Leaves a light red tint to the lips
3. Packaging is small and youthful

Cons:
1. Pricey for a lip balm when not on sale
2. Not the most moisturizing
3. Lips WILL feel slightly drier after the balm fades away
4. Fades from lips quickly (not even 1 hour wear)

Overall, it's pretty okay. I've used the rosy shade from the electrics line (with the bright colors) and like it better than Cherry Me. Cherry Me is something I bought twice, but I will not be repurchasing again.

Hope this helps someone!

I left this same review under the specific "Baby Lips- Grape Vine" product:

I read about these on the "Nouveau Cheap" blog, I think. I was looking for a drugstore tinted lip balm. Picked up this color, since it seemed close to what a MAC salesman once told me (15 years ago) was my natural lip color. Why, yes, I have zero confidence in figuring out what colors look good on me by myself, and always seek advice and affirmation from professionals. Anyway, initial application is fine and dandy: I get a nice hint of color, it smells good, applies smoothly, my lips look pretty and moist: yay. Then, after a few minutes have gone by, comes the sucky part: my lips feel so parched they turn weirdly sticky. It's most unpleasant, and requires immediate reapplication (which continues the cycle). I basically used up the tube just for the sake of finishing it- although my lips on average felt better if I did *not* use this- and will never re-purchase.

I did also pick up the "Fierce and Tangy" Baby Lips, mainly because I thought the fluorescent yellow was such a kick. Same results. The lemon scent is nice, but this formula just does not work for me.
