I personally really like this foundation, but... not on it's own. It was the first foundation I was ever able to even find that doesn't just rub off over the course of the day. In saying that, it can rub off, but only if you touch your face a lot, unlike the other 50 foundations I tried before this which melted off on their own. NOT a good look. Lol. I'm very pale, and this, being the lightest color I can find in store here, is far far too yellow and dark for my skin. I have to mix it half-in-half with Manic Panic's white liquid foundation. On top of that, it needs to be set with matte powder of some sort, because it's quite shiny on it's own. I use manic panic virgin or moonlight. It's really expensive here (in New Zealand) going for about $50 a bottle in stores, and the packaging isn't amazing either. Still my regular, still better than anything else I've used.

I have been using this product for the last month as it is oil free and thought it would be good for my oily skin. This foundation has good coverage and the colour match is also good, however this foundation is NOT good for oily skin. It smudges VERY easily, even when applying powder. Recently I wore sunglasses for a little more than an hour and a half and when I took them off, I had 4 large marks where the foundation had literally rubbed away just from my sunglasses sitting on my face. As well as this I am convinced this makes my skin more oily, by the end of the day my chin looks wet were it is so oily. Also the foundation gets everywhere, it rubs off really easily onto clothes and does not set well at all. I am really disappointed in this foundation and would definitely not recommend it to people with remotely oily skin.

I recently bought this foundation and it is really so wonderful product. It does not break out my skin. It has very dewy finish and vanilla is really amazing color for fair skin. But it does not give matte finish for long, if u have oily skin it will make ur skin shiny in 2-3 hours so always use translucent powder on it. Hope this review help u guys....

I like this foundation if I want my skin to look amazing, it covers well and it's a nice consistency. It's a little on the expensive side but the packaging is nice and sturdy. The only thing is I feel as though I can't wear this when my skin is especially dry as it just seems to cling to dry patches and makes my skin look worse. But for someone with slightly dry or normal skin it is great.

I purchased this a few months ago, and I use it every now and then. Being the obsessed makeup junkie that I am, I'm constantly buying new products and trying new things. Overall, I like this foundation. I bought it in the shade vanilla this past winter, because in the winter months I tend to be on the pale side. This foundation does a pretty good job at providing full coverage, and it blends nicely. I also like the slight yellow undertones in it, because I feel like it kinda helps to offset the pinkish undertones that my skin carries. This foundation also has a slight luminosity to it, and very, very fine sparkly particles within. It doesn't look like you fell face first into a pool of glitter though, the particles blend nicely and basically reflect light more than anything else. In the summer months, as I begin to tan and my skin darkens a bit, I'll probably just use this to blend my undereye concealer, or I may mix it with some of my true match liquid bronzer to darken it up a bit. Overall, I would repurchase it, and I think Revlon did a pretty good job with this one. Nice packaging, too!

I have dry skin, and this formula can show the cracks and crinkles at times. It does have a luminous quality, and full coverage, so there are times that I like to wear it ... but not always. That said, I would buy it again if I can get it free with coupons, because it serves a purpose at times.

This foundation is great, but not suitable for people with oily skin (like me). I absolutely love that there's a pump, and the formula isn't too thick. I like the coverage of the foundation as well. However, I get really oily and really fast after I use this foundation. If you don't have oily skin, you should give it a try

I do really like this product and believe it would be perfect if I didn't have such oily skin. The coverage is perfect for me and the lasting power is very good and I really like the overall finish of this foundation. The only thing that really is a downer for me is that it has very little oil control and I find myself starting to look shiny in as little as 2 hours after application, on a normal day I will have to re powder at least twice. I will repurchase this in the colder months when my skin seems to be a little less greasy. I also use it with the Revlon photoready primer.

This foundation really matched well with my skin tone but I feel it was cakey on my face. It didn't really blend INTO my skin like I wanted it too. I also like to not look oily and by the end of the day with this foundation I was def oily.

I love this foundation . . . if only it didnt contain shimmer. I'm so happy it has a really subtle yellow undertone, and it matches fairly well with my NC20 skintone. i like the pump it has, despenses the perfect amount of product. I apply this foundation with the Sigma F80 Kabuki, and it buffs seamlessly into my skin.
has a nice amount of coverage also, just need to use a small bit of cream concealer to cover any bad blemishes.
would recommend this to anyone looking for a high quality liquid foundation, and doesnt mind a bit of sparkle!

I picked this up without reading reviews, having forgotten to bring my usual Bobbi Brown foundation when visiting family for a wedding. This is good stuff. It's great for a drugstore buy, and I even prefer it to my higher-end makeup in many cases. There is a bit of sparkle, but trust me, it doesn't make you like like a stripper or a Twilight vampire. This foundation also looks great in pictures so it has become my go-to for a night out. It can look a little cakey when I try to layer it to get better coverage, so I do have to be careful with blending it in. Overall, a good bargain foundation that is just short of HG status due to the tendency to cake a bit.

My current favorite foundation!
Good shade options. Nice consistency. Good packing quality, I like the pump feature. Just one pump for day wear, one and a half for two, or 1/4 + moisturizer for my own personalized moisturizer!
Like most foundations, it looks best with primer (duh!) or else my pores start showing by the end of the way.

I just bought this product and haven't used it for very long yet. Before I purchased this, I was using Revlon ColorStay and so far I prefer this over the ColorStay. I like the pump because it pumps just enough rather than the ColorStay with no pump at all. I apply this foundation with my fingers, just as I do with most all foundations. The only problem I have is that my skin is a little dry around my nose and even if I put moisturizer on before the foundation, it still looks slightly chalky in that area. I also really only notice the shimmery-ness of this foundation on my cheeks, my cheekbones are highlighted, so that's a plus. This product is also scentless where the ColorStay foundation had a funky smell that I did not like. All in all, I will probably repurchase this product, but maybe try the Vanilla shade instead of the Ivory, since in pictures with the flash I look a little too white.

ok i was very hesitant about buying this foundation or a high definition MUFE because i needed sthg that will make me look better in pictures and videos. So i was encouraged by the many good reviews about revlon's and also the price range which is quit reasonable. i got to say that ihad MUFE HD before and i got so many complements wearing it but that was a while ago...........anyway i got to say this one NEVER looks caky on me and everything looks caky on me and i have pat all me foundations with damp sponge after applying them with my real technique brush..........another advantage it really works in pictures it gives me this luminosity that i appreciate even wn lighting is not that good. about the sparkling i m used to add loreal's lumi magi babe to my other foundations which i think it s basiclly the same idea... and they are so unnoticed that i was searching for them in the mirror and did not notice them at the beginnig

I was a little unsure of this foundation at first but after a few uses I loved it. I read reviews that it was too sparkly and not enough coverage but I find that you barely even notice the sparkles in it and its okay coverage so if you use a good concealer with it then its perfect and won't look cakey. It also has SPF 20 which is obviously a big bonus!

This foundation isn't terrible, but it's not really for me. It leaves my face SUPER glittery, like majorly sparkly, even though I top it off with powder it still manages to sparkle. I wouldn't say it's the 'dewy' look, because I think it just made me look like I sprayed body glitter on my face.
I did finish it, but I made sure to top it off with loads of powder to balance out the shine, which sort of defies the point of the PhotoReady. It has good coverage and it's got a good shade which isn't too pink or yellow. It didn't really work with my skin though, it was a bit too runny for me and a bit oily.

Well... The color works great on my skin, blends like a dream when I apply it with my real techniques stippling brush, and provides a decent amount of coverage for my clear skin w/ some redness (thats all I really need covered). The problem is the darn shimmer. It's not too noticeable in most lights, but I just really don't like not knowing if I do or do not look like I've got fairy dust all over my face at any given moment; also even when I wash all my makeup off, the next morning my face STILL SHIMMERS.

I do not like sparkle on my face, especially permanent sparkle. therefore I will not repurchase. But LOVE the pump and it does a decent job of medium coverage on my skin.

This is my Holy Grail. I have gotten so lucky with vanilla 002 and I buy extra and stock up in anticipation that they will discontinue it for some reason (seems to happen to all my favs). This product matches my skintone so perfectly you litterally cannot tell I am wearing it.

I apply it with clean fingers (I apply any foundation this way..I am not a fan of brushes). I like using my fingers because the heat keeps the product very fluid and helps blend it perfectly. Once it sets I have a gorgeous looking complextion (I have very nice skin anyway admittedly) I top it off with the pressed powder foundation in fair/light. It lasts all day and I never need to retouch. I have never had an oxidation problem with this foundation at all. As a matter of fact I ran out one day and had to order it. While I was waiting I switched to a L'Oreal product I had on hand. Ugh it oxidated something aweful and everywhere I went people were like "wow I have never seen you with a makeup line before" it got so bad I just stopped wearing makeup until I got my order. Was so glad to have this back! :) This also washes off easily and doesn't leave major residue (which is what I cannot stand about revlon colorstay).

I do not think it is the right product for anyone with very oily skin. It really does nothing to control shine. Actually it sort of gives you that warm glowing "dewy" look. Which I love. However if you already have that warm glowing dewy look, then its probably best to try an oil or shine control alternative makeup. Not every product works for every face. However I LOVE this product for my face.

So if you have a pretty decent complextion, Mild Combination or Dry Skin, cool undertones and love that glowing, dewy, fresh faced look then you should give this a try. It is a wonderful foundation and comes in a pretty decent range of colors. Because I do not bother tanning the Vanilla 002 actually works for my skin year round. Even when I pick up a slight amount of color during summer it isn't enough to have to change foundation which is great :) and in the winter when I look like someone from the cast of twilight, it gives my skin a little bit of a healthier summer glow without looking unrealistic, still matches my neck etc. <3

I really wanted to try the Ivory 001; but the lightest the stores carry around here is the Vanilla 002. I bought the Vanilla ... it's kind of a yellow/neutral undertone, I usually need something with a pink undertone.

The color wasn't an exact match, but it's definitely light enough where I think it will work. I didn't notice any sparkle at all. It dries nice and it doesn't feel like I have anything on my face.

The main problem I had with this, was blending. There were a couple of areas where I needed to add more to cover redness. Those areas just ended up looking kinda blotchy. I then lightly applied with my MAC powder. Hopefully once I get a good feel for it I won't have this problem.

I am going to purchase the Ivory 001 from an online store, and maybe I'll hit the jackpot. I'm willing to work with a foundation if I can find the exact skintone match!

**** UPDATE 8/29/12

I bought this in Ivory 001. The color match is fantastic!!! I love it. I did notice (as another reviewer stated) that in pictures I photographed ghost white. Oh well, I would rather have that happen than walk around with a mask on. It has subtle/light coverage, so I won't be using this on those days when I need to cover up my redness. But, overall, I really like this, the "shimmer" really wakes my dull face up.

I simply do not like how this foundation looks on my face. It makes my face look rather dull. Not sure why. The shimmer does not bother me. The lasting power is only all right. Overall, I would not recommend this foundation to others. There are so many other better and even cheaper options at the drug store these days.
