I got this cream because I wanted to get a real Asian bb cream and this was the only one that had that gorgeous lip/cheek stain on the cap, I'm that much of a sucker! I got it from the Skin79 site since they recently moved into my country and had all sorts of offers. But I really don't like this cream at all! Its main problem is it is WAAAY too light for me. Now, I have this very boring medium skintone, NC30, that is very boring because it's neither a golden bronzy tanned look nor a delicate creamy pale porcelain look, it's one of those skintones that are not one thing nor another, very boring. But usually I can make most foundation shades work for me because usually they blend into the skin and adapt to the colour. But not this bb cream. It just SITS on top like a cakey mask. It makes me look like a ghost. There's no way I can get it to sort of blend in with my skintone and *adapt* the way I usually can with other foundations. It also felt very thick going on, and I like something that feels light and like there is nothing there, but with this bb cream, you are always feeling it on your skin. The coverage was too thick and heavy too, I like sheer coverage. It looked and felt like I was wearing a mask, a white ghost mask. I also tried the Super Gold cream but I didn't order it because it didn't have a lip/cheek stain in the cap! The colour match was better, but it was grey and even though other people say the grey cast goes away in about 5 minutes, in my case it didn't, and I looked grey the whole day long. I didn't look like a ghost, but I don't know which I prefer, to look like a white ghost or grey-faced. I don't think I like either look very much. I wish Skin79 would become aware of the fact that there are people in the world with boring medium skintones too, and make creams for that range. To its benefit I LOVE the lip/cheek stain, it makes the PERFECT blush! I only don't use it very often because once I run out I wouldn't have any more, since I will never ever ever repurchase this cream! I wish they would bring out this same lip/cheek stain separately, I would for sure be banging on their door for that!

I applied it with fingers because it felt SO thick, like solid butter, that I just couldn't see any way that I would even be able to make it move if I had used a tool. The pump also sucks, you can't control how much comes zapping out of the hole, well I can't anyways. I screwed the cap off to get to the product and I can control how much product I get. It is so thick I barely need a pinhead size, I will never run out of this.

This one didn't work for me.. colour is okay. Light enough for my NC15/20 skin but it was just tooo oily, even in the winter. it didn't stay on and i had to powder so much to mattify. also the packaging i think is quite annoying.. the pump with the hole in the middle gets a bit messy and contaminated.

I was very unhappy with my purchase of this product. BB creams, for me, are supposed to be pigmented and last all day, with or without a powder on top. The oriental, at best, wore 4 hours on me, and was completely gone by the middle of the day. The rest of my bb creams that I've tried usually can last through the end of the workday, but this one was not successful in doing that. I have a lot of broken blood vessels under the skin, and while other bb creams were successful in covering them easily and keeping them covered through the day, I found that layer after layer after layer of the Oriental could not cover them up. When I finally tried a thin sweep then multiple layers on each broken blood vessel (which takes a hella long time), and topped with powder as usual, the result looked like I had a genuine makeup mask on. I haven't seen myself looking like I had that much makeup on since I decided to raid my mom's foundation drawer when I was five. It was not an attractive look. The shade match was good - I am a neutral light/medium and it adjusted well. I'm sure for someone that doesn't need a lot of coverage and has normal-dry skin this is great, but it just didn't work for me. I left it with my mother, who has dry skin and could use some brightening up.

I'm really pleased with this BB cream. I think it provides a nice, even finish and it wears all day long. I apply it with my fingers and set it with powder, as my skin is oily. The coverage is medium and it covers my redness quite nicely. The color is a very good match for my pale skin (NW15). I also love the SPF 25.

I was pleasantly surprised by the cream blusher/lip color in the cap. I've never worn cream blusher before, as I always assumed it wouldn't last on my oily skin, however this wears really well! The color looks great on my cheeks, but I find it too pale for my lips.

My only complaint is the packaging. It's definitely too large and clunky to be portable. The unusual pump mechanism for the BB cream itself can also be awkward to use. It can be purchased in a smaller tube, without the blusher/lip color though, if the pump and portability are an issue for you.

This is my first bb cream, I chose Skin79 because I read that the bb creams from this brand are the best, I didn't completely like it, it doesn't blend perfect the color is not right it's too pale and doesn't give you this natural, glowing, healthy look I love.

I don't use this all over my face - only as an under eye concealer.
.
My regular base makeup routine is either Skin79 Gold BB Cream all over my face, spread out with a beauty blender so I just have a light layer all over my face (except lips). Then I put a little dot of this cream under each eye, spread it carefully with a finger and stipple with a beauty blender so it's all even. The beauty blender (or in general a face sponge) is an important part of my makeup-tools that makes my makeup go on nice and thin and very evenly. Note: I put Skin79 Gold BB cream on my eye area first so that whatever is applied on top doesn't dry it out. I do it with this BB cream, but I also did it with my Kanebo one, because practically anything dries my under-eye area out
.
The colour of my face right now is about an NC20-15 in MAC-shades, and this cream would be too pink and light for all over my face - it's maybe an NW15-10, but it brightens up my undereye area very nicely :)
.
I buy tiny samples of this on ebay, not a whole bottle - I would 1) probably never use it up using this only on my eye-area and 2) annoy myself thinking that I need to use up all that before buying something else :P I really like the fact that this BB cream that I can get 3 mL of for just a couple of dollars works just as well for me as my 2,6 mL, $40 Kanebo concealer did. Now, if I could just open the Kanebo concealer and put this BB cream in the beautiful packaging...! X)

I would not repurchase this because the lip/cheek balm is drying for my lips. As for the cheek, its not too bad...i just would rather buy the bb cream itself!

PROS; Moisturizes!, comes with lip/cheek balm!, travel friendly!, packaging!, SPF!

CONS; lip/cheek balm is drying for lips, lip/cheek balm embraces cracks in lips,

I will reupdate because I have not tried this for the summer yet, so till then.

Asian people recommended this bb cream, so I decided to give it a try. Oh God when I put it on my face my skin instantly looked bright and glowing!! Not only that the texture is so smooth that I can easily spread it all over my face evenly. it lasts more than about 9-10 hours because I looked exactly the same as I put on in the morning! however this might not look very natural on me since I have pink undertone with light Asian skin and this bb completely eliminates my pink cheeks, which I don't have complain at all. The cheek and lip stain look very natural, but doesn't last long like bb cream. However, I always use it as blush for a day ~ I will definitely buy this again when it runs out!! :)

This didn't suit me at all. It went on thick, was difficult to spread, and made my face look caked and quite a bit older. I see other reviewers talking about a light finish, so maybe I was doing something wrong, but it seemed quite the opposite to me.

I like it. It is light and sparkles on my face. The color does not match with my face's color. It is too grey. It makes my skin flawless and great complexion. But too oily on my t-zone. It is for dry skin not for combination and oily skin.

This is a bb cream to try if you are dry, older, need more coverage. It sets dewey. If you are having issues with it put it on in a patting motion pressing into your skin and work with small areas until covered and use as little as possible. Then go over any other areas that need more coverage.

I like this bb cream. It took me a while to finally work for me.

1. Dont treat it as a normal foundation. Pat it on. Use a little and build.

2. Use a primer if you find it difficult to spread. I use a primer and the difference is night and day.

3. If you like a more matte finish add a matte setting powder.

I like this because of coverage, the pump top is great, the gel cheek color is adorable, and made for my light skin. Its better than a tinted moisturizer for the fast out the door face. It has a beige light pink tone. The pink tone brightens your skin. No glitter or sparkles in the formula. Wears about 8 hrs on my combo skin. I especially like it in winter for extra moisture over a moistureizer and primer. In the summer I dont use moisturizer. The product is enough. I use a primer, the bb cream, then a matte setting powder and works great. (Im a Mac NC 15)

It was okay. My face is usually a little darker than the rest of my body and the whiteness of bb cream makes my face match the colour of the rest of my body. However this goes on a weird colour for me, it didn't make my face whiter but gave me an unnatural colour, like brown undertone. The product also didn't stay on my face for too long.

I thought the product looked so nice with the pink and gold bottle but it's really unhygienic. With this bottle the cream comes out from the top so I have to wipe it across the dispense leaving streaks.

I prefer the other gold one because it did everything that thing one didn't do and the dispenser is much cleaner with this bb cream.

The only thing I did like was the blush/lip cream, although it did not go well on my lips, it was nice on my cheeks.

This review is for the Oriental Gold Plus that comes in a gold container.

This is the first BB Cream I tried and I'm still trying to find something that lives up to it.

Just the right amount of coverage, and evens out my skin perfectly. I do have Asian skin that is oily with uneven skin tone and gold tones. This BB cream is very pale, which I love.

Get the Oriental Gold PLUS (in the gold container) because it is far superior to the normal one that comes in a purple container, and it comes with a better lip/cheek color.

The lip/cheek color in the cap is absolutely perfect. Perfect color and perfect consistency.

The only downside to this BB cream is the price and availability--It is not as commonly available or as cheap as, say, the Missha BB creams.

------Updated-----

This is the first and only BB cream I've ever tried, so I can't compare with other products of this type.

It is a fairly good colour match for my pale complexion and gives a nice dewy finish. A very thin layer should be applied and blended well (using fingers), otherwise the shade turns pinkish grey. The coverage is light and can't be improved.

PROS: evens out the skin tone, nice smell, lovely packaging.

CONS: The cream is too sticky and greasy, a lot of blending required. It feels heavy on my face and clogs pores. I didn't notice any brightening, rejuvenating effect or improvement in my skin's texture.

In general, I like this product, although it wasn't as good as I thought it was going to be. I have combination skin, and I quickly found out that this BB cream is made for dry skin, as it doesn't have very good oil control. However, I like the fact that it has a dewy finish so I can skip highlighter, and I like the scent, although those of you who prefer non-scented face products won't like it as much, as it's quite strong. The coverage is light, which is okay with me since I have no major acne that needs to be covered. The cheek/lip tint on top is a beautiful rosy pink and gives me a nice flush, but is a little too light for my lips. My lips are naturally a bit on the pigmented side, so the tint would suit people with lighter lips. Good product, but I think I'll stick with my Skin79 hot pink BB cream, as it's made for combination skin.

NC25 Chinese, oily skin w/ dry areas from trying to control acne, yellow w/ reddish undertones.
Searcing for a better match than MAC NC25 and Era Classified Y3, I bought this via Amazon shipped from Korea. My understanding is there is only one color, so no options.

Unfortunately this was much too light for me. Texture is creamy twds heavy, but I wore it for the day (w/ some darker Y5 sprayed on top). Foundation never faded, covered my redness, skin looked smooth, but I can't give it a fair shot past day 1 since the color is just too light.

If I ever hear there are more colors to become avail, I would repurchase and try again.

Update 2/6/12: I've worked thru most of the Skin79, with the "darkest" being VIP Gold (more creamy, maybe peachier?) and Hot Pink (for oily skin, more ivory)... if I had to pick for NC25, I would go w/ VIP Gold but still doesn't provide full coverage.. medium at best so good for people w/ nicer skin than mine.

I like this BB cream but I find this is a little gray on me even after it sets. The coverage can be built up and it goes on easily, but this does not completely hide my acne scars which was hoped for but not expected. my favorite feature, however, is the lip/cheek color on top of the BB cream. The color is gorgeous, though the cap is impractical to take along for touchups.

The reason I put NO for repurchasing is not only for this pproduct, but for ALL BB creams. I went crazy for bb creams for awhile when I first hear of it. I loved all of the results until it gave me white heads all over my face..to me that is a sign of clogging my pores!
The packaging of this looks more highend, compared to many of the other bb creams. I like how this comes with very pretty pink blush/lip tint on the top, although it is very little, but a little goes a long way, same goes for the bb cream it self.
It gives a dewy finish and it stays for a good 5-6 hours. It instantly brightens up my complexion, matter of fact it makes me look much paler (in a good way, not ghostly white!)
if i was in the mood for bb cream (which is never ever since my obsession with foundations) i would reach for this bb cream! just because the pump is unique and I like the finish!

Skin79's Gold Label BB cream is HG for me but before I found that, I had ordered this one. I happened to order the shimmering one too which doesn't come with SPF.
It came in a 20ml bottle with a brush attached. You can take the brush off to wash and it's very convenient.
Unfortunately, the colour is far too light for my skin tone and doesn't blend in very well. I don't like the shimmer because it makes my face look oily in warmer weather. The coverage is very sheer - the Gold Label BB cream offers much better coverage, but the Shimmering Oriental doesn't have that slight grey cast. (I have a suspicion that it's because this doesn't have SPF)
If you don't have oily skin, a light skin tone and not much to cover, I do recommend this, but it's just not for me.

This BB cream focuses on 3 functions - Whitening/Wrinkle Improvement/UV Interception SPF25 PA++. Designed to "keep the skin more resilient and brilliant with natural ingredients improving skin into glossy and sleek status, whilst completely protecting skin exposed to UV rays." I'm always on the lookout for skin whitening and UV protecting ingredients so this appealed to me. Granted, it is only SPF 25 so I still use a regular sunscreen underneath aswell.

I have sensitive normal/combo skin and this BB cream works very well for my skintype. It's actually designed for dry/combo skin, but it doesn't make my skin feel greasy or oily at all. It leaves my skin really soft and smooth. There is always a lip/cheek cream ontop of the BB cream in a shade called 'dusty rose'. It's great - on the lips it gives a subtle light-medium pink colour and translates that way on my cheeks aswell. I really like that this is a 2-in-1 product. The cream blush is not overly creamy but perfectly spreadable and doesn't dry out the skin or leave it looking oily either.

The packaging isn't amazing - but I like the pump as it disperses the perfect amount of BB cream needed to cover my face. You don't need to use a lot as the coverage is pretty decent...I'd say medium. A little goes a long way. The consistency is a little thick but not in a heavy sort of way. It feels like I'm applying a light face cream or something. Leaves my skin with neither a matte nor dewy finish...it's a soft glow that looks like natural skin texture. As the day goes by it looks a little more dewy but never oily/greasy. I'm an NC20 right now with golden/yellow undertones and the colour of the BB cream fits me rather well. It's not pink grey or yellow toned...it's more of a neutral beige. Never oxidises either.

I have really sensitive breakout prone skin and this BB cream has never broken me out, so I think it would be good for those with acne or blemish prone skin. Lasting power is good - I can apply at 9AM and it'll still be on at 6PM.

This is my favourite BB cream (and I've tried just about every BB cream on the market) - I can wear it day or night. It gives coverage yet looks natural, doesn't have an overly perfume sort of fragrance, doesn't irritate my skin, blends easily and comes with a cheek/lip cream. I can't think of any negatives with this product.

UPDATE: I'm not liking this as much anymore...in comparison to my HG BB cream, this is average. The colour match is a bit too off for my liking, I only just noticed. It makes me look slightly pink, and the coverage isn't that good. I won't be repurchasing,
