This did not hold my eyebrows in place! I thought it would be great - I love the pencil form so I can avoid placing my own fingers in wax and getting wax smeared all around my eyebrow areas. But since this wax didn't hold, it is a waste. Will not repurchase.

At first I loved this and thought it was wonderful. I love the wax that can keep brows in place but the products never give enough in the kits. I don't mind this is a pencil and all but it's a bit pricey for what it is. I have since found out that Walmart carries a Salon Perfect product that's the same thing. It's about $5 where as the NYX one is $8.79 (according to Ulta's website). If I can get away with a similar product for a few bucks less I'll go with the $5 one.

Quickly becoming one of my daily MU staples....Does just what it says, Keeps my eyebrows from curling up and moving around. They stay in shape! I'd recommend putting this on Before filling them because it can take off some of the pencil/powder you put on. BTW this is stuff is waterproof and sweat proof :)

I have been using different clear brow gels throughout the years, from various different brands. I haven't tried the Anastasia Brow products yet, but I feel like I don't have too now!
This make such quick work out of doing my brows - just swipe it on, brush it through with a spoolie and I'm done. It doesn't move my brow color or foundation/concealer i might have put around my brows.

This product removes @ least 2 lashes @ a time on each eye every time I've used it. I tried it slowly & using various methods BUT Nope...Nothing work & my eyebrows were still left unruly!!!
Age: 19-24 Skin: Acne-prone, Fair-Medium, Warm Hair: Brunette, Fine Eyes: Brown
I have bushy brows and trimming them was not enough to tame them so I looked for a gel, wax, whatever to keep the hairs from sticking every direction. I came across this product and read great reviews and was so sold on the reviews that I ordered two instead of trying out one first. It works like a charm and lasts all day! All you need is a little quick swipe and one pencil will last you a while. I apply a thin layer before filling my brows with an eyeshadow. The packaging is very convenient for on-the-go or traveling. My only complaint is that I haven't figured out a way to completely clean the wax off my brows so I end up breaking out around my brows :(

This did nothing for me but remove my brow pencil markings on my brows! Total waste of money for me.

This works great to tame my eyebrows. It doesn't leave them stiff or flaking like some gels do. However, the pencil is kind of small and doesn't seem like it'll last too long. I got it for $8, much cheaper than the anastasia one so I'll definitely repurchase.

I'm on the fence about this. I love the pencil packaging - it's super convenient and easy to use, especially on the go as there is no fussing with brushes or pots of product. It's reasonably priced for what it is and the amount you get. However, I find that it isn't quite enough to tame my brows for more than a few hours. I do have full eyebrows that are quite unruly and seem to have a mind of their own, and as such I've yet to meet a brown gel/wax/whatever that actually does hold them in place all day. That's why I still gave this 4 stars and would repurchase - it performs as well as anything else I've used, and I greatly prefer the pencil format.

This is a fantastic product! I got tired of using brow gels because they made my brows feel hard. I run this pencil along my brows and use a spoolie (eyebrow brush) to comb over the area. It works either way (with or without a brow powder/brow pencil) and makes them stay in place all day. No more messy brows and it's perfect when I'm feeling lazy since it's quick and easy to use! The wax in the pencil is hard, but doesn't feel greasy when applied. Definitely recommend! :)

Bought mine at beautyjoint.com for $6.99, and for the price, it was worth it. The pencil is fat and short, but you don't have to use much product to get the effect you're looking for, so I can't see this thing running out too quickly. My brows are thick, long, and curly, and I live in a humid area, which means my brows tend to want to curl up and go in all kinds of directions. This stuff is strong enough to straighten them out and mat them down where I want without leaving a greasy or shiny film on them. The best part about it is its form, a pencil, which means unlike the Wet'n'Wild eyebrow kit's wax (which I always loved, by the way) which must be applied using a brush, I can just pretty much "draw" my brows where I want them to be, and there they stay! I gotta say, though, that the hold isn't as superior as that with the W'n'W eyebrow kit, but it most certainly does the job for a great price. The packaging is sturdy, feels like plastic on the outside rather than just painted wood like most pencils. Must have a jumbo pencil sharpener. This is great to have on-the-go in a purse for touch ups, takes 2 seconds to apply with no tools.

For years, I used clear mascara on my eyebrows to give them a polished look. Wanted to try Anastasia product, but didn't want to spend the money. Found NYX eyebrow shaper at local grocery store and have really liked how it keeps brows in place. Highly recommended.

My brows tend to look droopy (I really don't like trimming them) if I don't set it with something. I love how convenient this pencil is.
A quick swipe with this has them looking so much neater, and they'll stay put throughout the day. Brow powders stick to it very well. It doesn't look shiny or feel greasy at all. Looks very natural. No detectable smell. And the consistency is perfect! I was worried it would be too soft and leave a clumpy mess, or be too stiff and hard to apply, but it's just right.
The pencil is about 3.5 inches long and almost a half inch wide. So there's quite a bit of product. I got this for about $8 on eBay. The NYX website lists it as $8.75.
Reasonable price. Good quality. Highly recommended!

I visited my local Ulta store looking for a brow kit. The SA showed my the Anastasia brow kit that was over 35 bucks. I thought I would save some money and try the Too Faced brow kit and it was just as expensive. Nevertheless, I found my way over to the less expensive area of the store and stumbled up on the NYX brow wax stick. I read the descriptor and I decided to give it a try. I paid about 9 dollars for the stick. I found this to be pretty expensive but in comparison to the othe options this product was very cheap. I have pretty thick eyebrows and they can get out of hand at times. I tried brow gels several years back and it resulted in flacking and dry skin in the brow area. I have since just tried to keep my brows groomed and use a brow comb to tidy them up. I often notice in pictures that my method hasn't really been working. I tried this item this morning for the first time and I have to say that I am really pleased. I mentioned that I have thick brows but this wax keeps them in tack and makes them appear thicker. I love a full brow but not a bushy brow or a fake looking penciled in brow. I have been admiring Janelle Monae's full brow for some time and wondering how I could achieve this look without doing anything extreme. The brow wax pencil does the trick and keeps my brow in place all day. It has a nice consistency and natural look. It is only day one but I am hoping this product doesn't cause me to have any skin issues. Other than that, I am very pleased with the product.

Ok so I gave this another try, and the trick is to apply sparingly :)
My brow hairs are pretty long, and since they're so sparse, trimming them would make them even more invisible than usual, so I straighten them out with this brow wax, and it looks very neat~

This jumbo pencil is identical to the Anastasia Brow Fix pencil that, w/tax, costs more than $20 (the NYX version costs less than $9 at Ulta). I compared the ingredients of both, and they are literally the same product in different packaging (actually on second inspection the only difference is that the NYX does NOT contain parabens while the Anastasia product does – last 2 ingredients listed – if that is important to you). Why spend twice as much money?!? The pencil is large, so a possible downside is that you'll need a large sharpener if you don't already own one (why I didn't give it a perfect '5' rating). I just use my cheapo Prestige round silver one from the drugstore; it sharpens this wax pencil beautifully. The consistency of the wax is what makes this such an indispensable product – it's not so hard that you have to drag and pull for application, but it's solid enough that it doesn't at all feel or appear greasy – it really is just right. It keeps my thick dark brows in their place for the entire day. I'm persistently pleased whenever I glance up in the bathroom mirror in between classes, noticing how perfect yet natural my brows look, remaining that way throughout the whole day. And for the price, like I said, it's a no-brainer for somebody that requires a dependable brow wax and prefers the simplicity and convenience of it being in pencil/stick form. I only wish NYX had come out w/this product earlier, would've saved me some cash. But I'm grateful anyway that it exists and I know about it now! Highly recommend.
