This stuff never completely dries! I have long lashes that curl up naturally and the stuff was all over my brow bone area an hour later! Thank goodness I got it for free considering how expensive it is. I'll give it a 2 for being organic and for going on nicely & looking decent initially. Just don't blink. Ever.

Packaging is unique but the brush isn't.
Usually rubber bristles poke at my eyes but this didn't.
You can layer multiple layers to achieve length and volume without clumping.
It smudges really badly! At least it comes off easily with water so you don't need makeup remover.

Worst mascara I've EVER tried. My lashes looked like absolute hell after application and a few hours later it migrated all over my my under eye area. I'm returning it to CVS, pronto.

Nothing JUMBO about this mascara whatsoever. It NEVER dries.

I bought this mascara after listening to Tati of GlamLifeGuru rave for months about this mascara....and I hate it. It is SO WET and never dries all the way. It smudges all over my glasses, literally I have to clean them every few minutes all day when I wear this mascara. When I don't wear my glasses the smudging is so much more visible, it gives me terrible raccoon eyes. I am not an oily person, I don't have watery eyes, and I very rarely have issues with eye makeup running. My advice is skip this mascara, it's too expensive to be such a mess!

I bought this mascara as an alternative one to wear on my lazy days when I don't feel like wearing my contacts. I have always loved multitasking products that not just mask problems or just make you look good but that are actually good for you but then again, what gal doesn't right? Physicians formula has always been know to have more gentle ingredients in their products and I had already tried a few of their items before and liked them so I thought hey why not? However, I must have gotten a dryer batch because I didn't experience the wetness or trouble with it taking forever to dry like some of the other reviewers. For me it worked out just fine. It added volume, defined nicely and added decent length and thickness to my lashes while still managing to make them look naturally glam and not spidery. No clumps no smears no flakes for me. and by default I loved that it helps to condition and protect your lashes Against breakage at the same time. I love the brush to. I have pretty big eyes so I didn't have a problem with it although it did take me a while to get used to holding it with the weird tube. I paid $10 bucks at target which I wouldn't consider cheap for a drugstore mascara but it's also not ridiculously expensive. Either way I think it's well worth the $10 that I paid for. Definitely one of my favorite out of most of all the drugstore mascaras that I have tried. So overall, I would consider Repurchasing and recommending to those seeking a more organic yet effective Alternative in their beauy regimen. all in all a good product in my oppinion

I have very sensitive eyes and this is my favorite mascara ever! I have super tiny lashes and this stuff adds a lot of volume and length. I paid about $9 at Wal-mart so it wasn't too pricey. It didn't irritate my eyes at all, and I love that it's all natural. A lot of people complain that the brush is too big, but I like it. I think it does a good job fanning out the lashes and spreading the mascara on evenly. Keep in mind that it does not come in a waterproof version because they would have to add chemicals in order to do that. The staying power is just like any other non-waterproof mascara I've tried. If you have sensitive eyes, I'm sure you would appreciate this mascara.

This is a great mascara if you want bold OR subtle lashes ~ Regularly apply one coat of mascara for bold lashes OR take a tissue and roll the mascara wand on it to remove a little product and lightly apply to your lashes for a subtle look. I wear this mascara both ways.
Now, for the review:
- Lovely ingredients (scored a 1 on EGW!!!) and won't irritate eyes
- Great price for the ingredients ($9-$13 depending where you buy) whatever, it's less than Tarte and 100% Pure
- Performs very similarly to conventional mascaras
- Creates nice volume and length
- Doesn't flake or smudge
- Very black (if you like that)
- Removes easily with warm water
- I love the green leaf packaging :)
- No horrible "mascara smell" ~ A.K.A. chemical smell; Instead, smells very slightly of aloe
- Doesn't do much for curl (if that's what you're looking for in a mascara)
- Doesn't come in a waterproof formula (if you like waterproof mascara)
- Doesn't come in other colors besides black (no brown formula for us that prefer it; darn)
- Some (those with small eyes) might have a difficult time with the large brush, but it's not an issue for me
To conclude, this is a great mascara that I've been using for a few months and highly recommend. My only wish is that it came in a brown formula. Oh, well.

This mascara is originally fairly expensive, but I got it on sale for about $12 or so, so not too bad.
The packaging is adorable!!
And now for the product itself:
I use this over about three other mascaras, and on the lower lashes. It's great for the bottom, because the brush is nice and little and delicate. However, I would not (and do not like to) use this product by itself for the top lashes. It's a ooey, gooey, clumpy nightmare. It is just not good by itself!!
I still am giving this product a 3/5 because it is good over other mascaras, as well as for the bottom lashes.
I like how it is cruelty-free as well. :)
I used this product on my lower lashes for 3 1/2 months. And it's out. Ridiculous! it does NOT last long AT ALL!!

Great mascara, especially for a drug store one. This never gave me clumpy lashes. It gave my lashes length and volume but it still looked natural. I love this stuff.
