I have this in hot pink. I love the color, and the lipstick itself is fine, but the taste is just AWFUL. Like bug spray! Everytime I eat or lick my lips, I want to gag. Don't know what the hell they put in this stuff to make it taste so bad, but there are plenty of other comparable lipsticks out there that don't taste like poison!

I have this lipstick in sheer rose, which is a light, warm rose with gold pearl. It looks good on me, but not great. I normally look better in darker pinks or reds. But this is ok. the formula is very soft and sheer, kinda hydrates lips. I took 1 lipstick off because it could have some better staying power.

Cant live without my 'sugarcane' i usually use this with the neutral liner and it looks great! I did buy the shimmering beige, and that had an aweful taste! I dont understand why some would taste icky and the others not........ but the sugarcane is great, very frosty sheer, with a hint of color.

I have this in Moonstone. It's gorgeous! Not too pink, not too red and a hint of a holographic glow....just like a moonstone! The texture is very light and I don't even know I'm wearing it. I also don't really detect any smell or flavor. But, of course, I think they have discontinued this, so I will get more on ebay and then continue my quest for another "perfect" lipstick color!

Lipstick/lipgloss is my #1 makeup item that I simply can't live without. I NEED my lipstick! I say that just to give a little background for you on the importance of lipstick in my life. I bought this in "Bijou" and based on the catalog color swatch, I expected a much deeper, richer shade. Instead, I got a color that actually looks decent on me (thankfully!) but looks nothing like the color I thought I was getting, and the color I did get has absolutely nothing special about it at all -- it's boring, has no character, and is pretty much lifeless. I'm not impressed. The price is reasonable, it doesn't bleed or feather, and the lipstick applies smoothly and evenly, it's moisturizing and not drying at all, but it doesn't last long, and it just doesn't WOW me enough to keep wearing it, much less to ever purchase it again. I'm just used to much higher-quality lipsticks, and while this one is mediocre, I'd rather pay two or three times as much for a truly phenomenal lipstick.

I am a rep so I got the samples. First I will say that while the colors are very nice none of then sent me....sigh....CAUSE the formula is very nice. Guess I will stick to the plumping formula with some gloss.

OMG! I never thought I'd ever wear lipstick but this stuff is great! Unlike other lipsticks, it feels just as smooth as gloss and is long-lasting. I have it in sheer rose.

I got a sample in mochaccino, a sheer, slightly shimmery, nude with a hint of "milk chocolate" brown. This makes a great nude l/s on my pale skin because it doesn't wash me out. It's not very moisturizing, so I wear it over a balm (but I wear balm with most of my l/s anyway). Great for daytime and office wear.

I got 10 of these as samples and they were ok. They did moisture my lips, but didn't stay on very long.

I got one of these in a shade called "Romeo" which is basically the most abhorrent shade of red--ever. Turned bright fuschia on me. Part of this is my fault since I bought this in haste at an Avon kiosk and thought I was purchasing the sheer red color. Nope. Nasty color, but I won't base my review on the color alone. As for the formula, I thought this was a little greasy feeling--might need a liner with this one to keep you from getting clown mouth. I didn't wear this awful shade longer than 2 seconds so I can't tell you anything about the wear, etc. Don't recommend "Romeo" in case you haven't guessed.

I have 2 of the shades. The color selection is small but, for the warm-toned shades I wear, their selection pleased me. this is creamy without being greasy, yet somewhat long-lasting and goes on easily, giving a brilliant but not glossy look. Also, unlike the Ultra-Luxury lipsticks, these do not don't change to Fuschia. Not repurchasing only because, well, i own over 75 different shades of lipstick, not including glosses, etc :)

I have these in Heaven and Cherub. Both are natural colors. I like Cherub a lot, it is like a pale pink color but isnt pale enough to wash me out. Look very good with smokey eyes or just a natural not that make up look. Heaven is ok, it is a matte nude color, but it kinda wash me out. The staying isnt bad, it last few hours still. Quite moisture, didnt really dry me out. Not sure how much are these normally run, I got them both off eBay around 2 yrs ago for $3 together I think.

I bought this lipstick in two colors: Sheer Spice and Sheer Mauve. Sheer Spice was a little too bronzy for my skin so out that went. I like Sheer Mauve enough but the coverage is actually quite opaque. I've never worn any of the actual opaque colors but compared to what I would consider true sheer coverage, this lipstick is definitely not sheer. Finish is shiny and smooth but I will not be buying again since I can only wear sheer lipstick shades.

I like the brilliant moisture lip color line and have found one of my favorite new colors (Bijou) in this line, but these lipsticks have their positives...and their negatives. On the plus side, the color seems to last for a while in comparison to other lipsticks, it's fairly moisturizing and doesn't cake, smear or otherwise go wacky on your lips. As for the negatives, the lid has to be closed completely or you will make a mess of your purse. It seems simple, but the lid seems closed, but isn't always. You really have to pay attention and push it on there. Next, The color/s in the catalog and on the web are NOTHING like the color of the actual lipstick. I'll continue to buy it because I found a color that looks great on me, but am not sure I want to go through the entire line experimenting to see if another color might look just as good.

I bought 2 of these-they were on sale-and I'm glad I did! I tried Drama Red-a very deep,dark berry & Bijou- a coral pink.
It glides on very smoothly with a bit of shine. I don't find I have to re-apply as often as other moisturising lipsticks. The reason for four lippies is that, while I don't mind the smell, the flavour is slightly bitter(?)

I was really excited to try this lipstick, being it was my first Avon purchase. I was totally disappointed though. It makes my lips peel. I bought it in Romeo and in Heaven. I haven't noticed any thing too great about these lipsticks though. I think that their not worth the price even though it's pretty cheap.
