I bought the Carmex Tinted Lip Balm in Peach for 220 Taiwanese yuan ($7) at Watsons. It's a little pricier than most of the other drugstore lip balms here, but I don't regret it!
The lip balm offers you a subtle, tinted sheen that gives your lips a natural, healthy colour (unlike some of the other tinted lip balms are a bit too vibrant and unnatural-looking).
There's a slight tingly sensation when you apply the lip balm and it smells a bit sweet, which I like. But most importantly, it moisturises well!
I'm quite happy in terms of packaging. My expectations aren't high, as it's a drugstore brand. The spin-out container makes it easier to use than from a pot or a tube.

This product is great! I have it in the peach color and I love it! My lips can get flaky in winter, so I put it on every night before bed and wake up with amazingly soft lips. I've tried many lip products and this by far is one of the best. I will definitely be repurchasing.

I bought this in peach. I would have picked plum but they only had clear and this. Anyway, I like everything about it except the color. The tint is very sheer and doesn't show up on my lips. I picked this up at CVS on sale for 99 cents, plus there was a coupon in the Sunday paper, so no big whoop.

Great tinted lip balm. I'm NC35 and I bought this in Plum. It's a lovely dark wine color. I just do one swipe on my lower lip and that's enough to give my lips a little color. Like some other reviewers. it can be more dramatic by adding more. It's nice and moisturizing. Everything you could ask for in a tinted lip balm!

Okay, let me say I LOVE this product.I usually dont wear lip stick b/c i hate the waxy heavy feeling so my go to are lip balms..
I have right now the peach shade and plum and I love them both. I was a little skeptical when I bought the peach because of my skin tone, (last time I checked I was NC45 from mac but I may be a little darker now) it looked perfect it gives a slight peachy pink very neutral looking!
As for the plum, it is very pigmented so If i want a flush of color I swipe it on once and it is great. For a more dramatic look I swipe it multiple times. Again GREAT color for my skin tone.
As for moisture aspect it does moisturize your lips. It leaves my lips so soft! I love this thing
I look forward to buying Pink and berry and when i do ill let you guys know...
THIS IS HG FOR ME!

LOVE LOVE LOVE the peach shade! The colour that this lip balm actually is, is not the same as the shade shown on the outer packaging! Its a much deeper peachy-pink.....and it is gorgeous. In my eyes the colour matches perfectly with a clinique lipstick I used to own - this is a fraction of the price and looks just as good. As it is a lip balm i leaves my lips feeling great and the colour lasts for ages. Also looks great with gloss over the top. I have bought a few of these to put away for presents for my sisters! A really great find if you are looking for a good lip balm and a natural looking lip colour!

I was really excited to try this out after reading all the positive reviews about this product and got it from Boots for around £5 - which is fairly expensive compared to other similar products.
The packaging is nice and the lid clicks on securely.
When I put it on my lips, it gave a really artificial pinkish colour and it smelt really medicated which goes after a while. After reapplying it a couple of times my lips came out in a rash, with little dots all over my lips..
So I discontinued using it for a few days but the rash continued to get worse.
Today (4 days later), I woke up and my lips were swollen and they are so sensitive and uncomfortable.
It was such a disappointment because I was so excited to use it! :(

I have super dry, flaky lips that I bite when I'm nervous. This glides on smoothly with absolutely no grit or stickiness and sinks in very nicely, no matter how chapped my lips are. The peach tint is sheer but very buildable and flattering and just enough to make my lips look healthier and more even-toned. It has that subtle medicated "Carmex" scent but it goes away. I love the skinny tube; makes it easy to apply and fits right in my pocket. Very good tinted lip balm.

I was trying to buy the clear version of this product but mistakenly bought the sheer peach tint. The color looks rediculous! I would suggest that you stick with the clear and add your own lip gloss over top of it if you want to add color.

Wow, amazing. I got the "peach" tint and this is such a hydrating lip treatment and it gives great color. Will buy more.
EDIT: I got another one in "Berry" and I really like it!

I LOVE THIS LIP BALM! I'm a very picky lip color shopper; I like some shine but not too much, medium pigment, and comfort to be in my lip colors. To my surprise, this balm fits those criteria! GREAT BUY! I have it in Sheer Peach, which looks dark in the tube but goes on more like the colored strip on the package. It's gorgeous! Looks nicest in bright sunlight to me, and it looks great with my warm skin tone! AND it's economical...normally about 3 bucks and change, though I bought it at $1.50 today on sale! Love that its at CVS, which is one place I always go. WILL be keeping this one!

I don't wear lipstick, so I've been on the lookout for a good tinted balm that won't cost my whole week's savings. I thought I'd found the best I could hope for when I discovered Burt's Bees tinted lip balms a while back, but I'm now planning to replace all of those with Carmex's version.
Similar opacity of tint, but Carmex goes on smoother and more evenly, and the color doesn't settle into the corners of my mouth the way the Burt's Bees balm does. The Carmex version is also much more moisturizing (wheras the Burt's Bees just dries my lips out.)
Add a lovely, somewhere-between-mint-and-vanilla scent, a lack of flavor, a pleasant tingling sensation, and a pretty, mildly glossy (not sticky) finish, and these are my new HG lip product.
Edit: Started with the color Sheer Berry. Loved it so much I went out and bought both Sheer Pink and Sheer Peach. Berry is a fun color, very bright red-- a good "training wheel" for a bold red lip, as I tend to be very subtle with my lip colors. I found that Pink and Peach are both more in line with my usual colors of choice... kind of "my lips but better." Both Sheer Pink and Sheer Peach are MUCH more sheer than Sheer Berry. And on my (fairly pigmented) lips, I couldn't tell much of a difference between them, unless I look closely... Sheer Pink is just a touch brighter.
Anyway, I am beyond glad I bought all three of these, since these will almost definitely be my lip product of choice this winter.
Am removing one star, though... it's a really good product, but because it's so soft it's easy to go through the whole tube really fast. For $4 (at CVS), I was kind of expecting it to last a little longer, like most other lip balms that I've owned. Will repurchase, but am slightly disappointed that I will clearly have to repurchase more often than I thought.

Lovely balm, lightly tinted so barely shows on my lips but if you look closely, it's there. Smells yummy and makes my lips tingle. My new every day lip balm!

Oh my gosh I LOVE these! Love love love! I have the pink and it couldn't be more perfect - great application, sheer color that isn't heavy, actually moisturizes, and has SPF! I wish it was a little less "Carmex" smelling, but that's not really a big deal. HG!

These are freakin great! I saw these at Walgreens and had to grab them. I have peach and pink and I actually like the peach better. The balm itself has a nice minty scent and tingling feel that doesn't burn. I love wearing these for my no makeup look or just something quick to add color to my lips. The peach is nice and subtle while enhancing my natural lipcolor and compliments my warm skin. The pink is bright in the tube but isn't really bright going on. I just find that peach is much more prettier. I cannot wait to find and try the berry and wine colors.

Of the tinted colors I've only tried Plum (my favorite lip color) & it's divine! Moist, sheer purple tint, glossy, eucalyptus-to-vanilla scent, moisturizing, slender compact packaging, & SPF 15. Decent price. Can't ask for better!

The plain Carmex stick is my HG lip balm, and this tinted balm is just as moisturizing and plumping but with a beautiful hint of color. I'm a neutral/cool fair skinned blonde and the sheer pink version is perfect.

After reading these (+) reviews, I went to CVS today and not only found Peach and Pink tints on sale each for $0.99 cents! -- Carmex has two new colors out - Berry and Plum tints. So for less than $7, I got the pink, peach and plum. I opened all 3 and have been wearing each color at different times. I like all 3, but am trying to figure out my favorite. I didn't get Berry yet... I love the way the balm gloss feels, very wearable; the scent is minimal and pleasant, barely any taste (nice!). My lips are exceptionally moisturized; I like the tint, it's just that; not opaque, and transferable to teeth (very good thing). I'm switching from lipstick to tinted lip balms b/c 1) the season's changing, and 2) it's true, tinted lip color does make one look younger!!
EDIT: the reason why i gave the packaging only a 2 is b/c although it's slim & chic, the material is cheap. When Carmex Moisture Plus (original) first came out, the packaging (correct me if I'm wrong) was metal, not plastic ; this product is most definitely targeted to women, but I got spoiled with the shiny metal. This plastic might be more green, though...

This is a pretty good tinted lip balm with SPF. I've been a big fan of Burt's Bee's tinted lip balms, but wished they were more pigmented and contained SPF for daytime wear. I bought this Carmex tinted lip balm in the pink shade and I like it a lot - it's tinted but pigmented enough to actually show against my rosy lips! The texture is just moisturizing enough, although if you're into natural products you're probably better off with the Burt's Bees tinted lip balms. The packaging is pretty sleek and at about $3 each, really affordable.

Love this lip balm! I got the pink tinted one and it leaves a very pretty sheer wash of pink to even out my lips. I love the formula because it just melts right onto my lips (it isn't a hard, waxy lip balm like so many others out there). It also isn't too minty, too sweet, or too fruity or heavily fragranced- it just has a hint of flavor. I've been using Eos but I'm definitely switching over to this- and I'm definitely going back to try the peach tint :)
